Jesus did not excuse evil. He called the Pharisees "vipers" and "hypocrites" and he overturned the money changers' tables in the Temple. He wasn't passive at all. Nor was he a-political; those same "vipers" were the ruling class in Israel. Jesus was killed primarily for opposing those in political power.
I guess Reiner doesn't know any of that.
And what is "Christian Nationalism"? He can't define it because it isn't a real thing. But he's an INTERNATIONALIST and a scumbag.

Hey, Rob: before you tell us Christians that we're antithetical toward the teachings of Jesus, don't you think it might be well for you to learn what those teachings actually were? Obviously you haven't got a clue, so far.

Well, that's true. When I'm not thinking deeply, I tend to lump Jewish and Christian values together (although I know most Jews would smack me hard for that). But basically everything starts with the Ten Commandments and goes from there. When Jesus said "The First Commandment is to love the Lord with all your heart and all your soul and all your strength, etc." that wasn't the first time those words appeared in the Bible. Don't ask me to look it up, but He was quoting earlier scripture.

Agreed Dana. Jesus said "I have not come to overturn the Law but to fulfill it."
