This article is short on information, isn't it? One is left to presume a few things, such as that these "immigrants" are here legally (though I haven't heard that we have an influx of illegal Afghanis), and that they are filling job openings that Americans are not taking. If the answer is "yes" in both cases, then OK. It's what the article isn't saying that to me is cause for concern.

I agree, Dana. I've actually worked with the International Institute for years, but not in this area. (Found housing for LEGAL aliens.) I do suspect a dirty deal with illegals right now. As you say, there isn't enough information - and that is no doubt by design. The RFT is a neomarxist rag and wants to confuse legal and illegal.
