Progressive Rage and the Viral Weapon
Timothy Birdnow
Dr. Roy Spencer started a discussion on his Facebook page. Dr. Spencer observes:
Rather than people hating on Trump, they should be asking why The
People rejected all of the professional politicians on both sides in
2016, and maybe doing something about that. He wasn't elected by
accident.
I explain:
The Progressives have been moving the entire world towards their vision
for decades. They want a world without borders, with strong
international instituions, with multinational corporations with rising
socialism as the primary economic model. They want a society based on
the philosophy of de Sade (who captured Europe's imagination with his
ideal of sex as a casual act, like drinking coffee.) They have been
systematically attaining this. But the public has rebelled worldwide -
here with Trump, in Britain with Brexit and Boris Johnson, with the
Yellow Vest protests, in Hong Kong etc. - and the Elites around have
seen their grip slipping and don't like it. Like the Bible says "Woe
unto the inhabitants of the Earth for Satan has come down to you in
great wrath because he knows his time is short". That rather describes
these "citizens of the world" who are furious that the idiot public
rejected their vision. So they want to destroy Trump and punish America
(which is why they are so gung-ho on keeping America shut down and
ruining our national economy.) And of course there are so many people
who believe what the media says, or who believe what their union tells
them, or whatnot. But the anger is ultimately the anger of losing a
lifelong dream; the fundamental transformation of America and the
world. Obama promised he would fundamentally transform America and he
almost did. If Trump hadn't "stolen" their rightful victory the would
have triumphantly marched into the Brave New World. He didn't just win
office, he destroyed decades of "progress" towards their dream. No
wonder they are so enraged.
