There is no (as in zero) evidence in the Mauna Loa CO2 record of the Covid-19 economic slowdown last year. These results are from my 1D CO2 budget model, which includes a number of natural climate variables (plus volcanoes) as yearly forcing terms. The Mauna Loa measurements are consistent with no 2020 reduction in CO2 emissions (the blue model curve assumes a 5.8% reduction in emissions, per EIA estimates).

2 No they won't Dana. I brought this up in an argument with one of them and he flat-out refused to believe it. He didn't know a thing about it because the mainstream media - while reporting it - did very little to call attention to this story.
