Dr. Fauci backed cotroversial Wuhan lab with U.S. dollars for risky Coronavirus research

It wasn't the research that let (sic) to the outbreak. The cause has yet to be determined. One possibility is a leak of virus from the lab, but that is a risk whenever one does such research. And this kind of research will be a necessary step along the way to a cure.

Charles, why fund research in China? We know that a.Chinese military and political leaders have always said war with the U.S. is inevitable and yet here we are funding a Chinese BIOWARFARE lab doing this research! B. Even if it was entirely innocent research, we are putting our faith in a country that couldn't even avoid poisoning our children by putting dangerous chemicals in toys destined for export.

 If they couldn't avoid lead, heavy metals, etc. in childrens' toys why do we think they would be more competent in other fields? They have regularly exported unsafe food products as well. A vaccine created through research done in a Wuhan lab would be unnecessary if that same lab hadn't been tampering in the first place.

Fauci may have had benign motivation here or he may not have cared, but he certainly doesn't have clean hands.
