At the heart of the impeachment of President Trump is former Ambassador Marie Yavonovitch. Yavonovitch is an interesting character at the heart of this, because she has so many interesting connections.
First off, she was an Obama appointee. When Congress became interested in Hunter Biden she testified before them - and admitted she was coached on how to answer them so as not to spill any beans aka how to lie to Congress.
According to Conservative Treehouse:
Representative Elise Stefanik brought to light interesting information today surrounding how the Obama administration was concerned about issues surrounding Vice-President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, and his connection to a corrupt Ukraine company Burisma. This revelation directly contradicted the Yovanovitch opening statement.
During questioning Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch admitted the Obama White House spent time briefing her on how to respond to congress if questions about Hunter Biden and Burisma were raised. This testimony highlights the concerns by the Obama administration about a clear issue with the Biden family and corrupt Ukraine interests.
This admission by former Ambassador Yovanovitch directly contradicted her testimony that was made only minutes before the admission. From her opening statement:
Meanwhile, it was Yovanovitch who blocked key witnesses from coming to the U.S. from Ukraine to testify against Hunter Biden, according to Ukrainian prosecutor Yuri Lutsenko, who also says she gave him a do-not-prosecute list.(BTW, Lindsay Graham and John McCain had their fingers in the Ukrainian pie too as did Nancy Pelosi's son Paul. Also, a top Romney adviser worked on the board of Barisma with Hunter Biden, and of course Hillary Clinton had deep ties to Ukraine, including both the Clinton Foundation and with efforts to destroy Donald Trump via the fake "dossier".)
I asked before and I'll ask again; who ISN'T getting money from Ukraine? It seems most of Washington is on the take from them.
And the good Ambassador appears to have been one of them, or at least working against President Trump's interests. Oh, please note; she was a huge supporter of Hillary Clinton and had ties to George Soros.
This is a horrible woman working to protect a bunch of corrupocrats.

Indeed, although it would take a large amount of time, it would eventually save some trouble if every member of the Diplomatic Service, and I include the State Department, would consider himself or herself to be terminated as soon as a new President has been sworn in. The new President could, of course, issue a statement asking everyone to stay on on a temporary basis if they wish, until they have been interviewed and the new President has decided whether or not to retain them. If he decides not to, they will be considered "terminated without prejudice." The same with anyone who does not wish to stay to serve the new President.
Same thing with the DOJ (which includes the FBI) and other "career" services such as the CIA.
And it goes without saying, or should, that these peoples' security clearances are all revoked when they are canned. If the people end up being retained, it's easy enough to obtain new clearances. That ought to take care of miscreants like Brennan, Crapper and the like. And speaking of them, any of these people who even smells like he's going to go to work for a TV network forfeits a possibility to come back to work for the gummint forever. Even under a different administration.

At any rate, he never got another job in journalism in town because he had signed a non-compete clause. If it works in private industry, why not in government? Surely we can keep these creeps out of the media.
