Two matters:
First, our voting systems are ridiculous. In New Jersey, they must accept mail-in ballots that arrive until November 8. Unbelievable. But, hey, it gives the Democrats ample time to see how many votes they need to steal to flip an election.
Related to this, it's more than tiresome seeing Democrat counties, such as Fairfax in Virginia, that can't or won't (because they're committing vote fraud) get their results in in a timely fashion. We really ought to consider state laws mandating that counties have to submit their results within, for instance, four hours of the polls' closure. If you don't have all the votes counted, too bad. Only the ones you have counted will be applied to the state's total. Exceptions would only be made in the case of natural disasters, such as floods or hurricanes.
I won't hold my breath waiting for this to happen, but I'm sick and tired of the Democrat counties and their "late counts."
What should happen is there should be no votes counted until all votes are in. There should be a hard cut-off. Only then should any votes be counted. And we should ban exit-polling so as not to tip off the cheaters as to what they may need.
Oh, and if you carve out a "natural disaster" exemption there will be disasters every election cycle - count on it!
Covid was one such.
