Should set off alarm bells:

Tucker Carlson had Rep. Devin Nunes on his show tonight. When Nunes theorized that one reason the FBI or DOJ was spying on congressmen might have been to get dirt on them, Carlson responded, "And it's very clear that members of Congress are being blackmailed; you can't say that, but I can — and it's true."

There was a time when such an assertion was unthinkable, but now it seems entirely plausible. This could explain some of those unfathomable votes by certain Republicans.

The intel agencies are, at this point, no friends of the American people. They are the KGB with different initials.

1 And it is a federal crime to lie to the FBI. Think about that for a moment. The fifth amendment protects you from having to incriminate yourself, but if the FBI asks if you committed a crime you can be imprisioned for saying you did not.

BTW I remember the Clinton impeachment; it was clear Trent Lott and some of the other Republican Senators were being blackmailed with that. And not long later Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert resigned for paying out blackmail money to a kid he had molested when he was a wrestling coach.

I think there are files on everyone in government these days.
