Trevor Thomas has an article today at American Thinker where he mentions a quote from Joy Behar in his discussion of Harvey Weinstein and liberal "values." http://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2017/10/harvey_weinstein_proves_why_the_left_really_hates_trump.html
The quote states:
Addressing her aghast audience, Behar attempted to explain how Democrats like herself don't have a hypocrisy problem when complaining about the behavior of men like Tim Murphy. As she tellingly revealed, "the difference between me and the people who voted for [Murphy] is the Democrats are not the family of values[.] ... They're not hypocrites – they're just dogs. You see the difference?" Yeah, we got it. According to Behar's liberal logic, it's better to be a reliably immoral "dog" than a hypocrite.
END OF QUOTE
I had to add some personal observances of Behar in the 1990s (pre-View tv show) in this following comment:
So Joy Behar is saying that she isn't a moral hypocrite but rather a "dog."

Two things; first, the liberal Democrats DO have values and lots of them. They are forever telling us about the "culture of rape" and yet they openly permit it among their own. They are the penultimatTe hypocrites. They have just taken it to such a high level by being hypocritical of their own hypocrisy.
Second, it is better to hold standards and fail to meet them than hold no standards at all. I would rather a serial killer be a hypocrite, agree that murder is bad, and only kill when he is driven to do so then to have him say it's o.k. to kill and go out and kill every day. The moral standard may not be met but it acts to constrain the evil that may be done. Remove the hypocrisy and you have total anarchy.
