Jerry Stiller RIP.
The Aviary's very own Jack Kemp, a New York resident, tells a funny story about Mr. Stiller. Jack was walking along in Manhattan when a woman crashed into him. It was Anne Meara, who breezed along on her way. Jerry Stiller followed behind her, and he apologized by way of saying "you ought to see what she does to ME!" And with that they were gone. Stiller was one of a kind!
Jason Alexander, who knew Stiller from Seinfeld, tweeted this:

Stiller was also very popular on The King of Queens, and did many other television and movie roles. It's a very sad day.

I remember seeing both of them on somebody's TV show, and during the repartee Meara "accused" Stiller of being a prude, saying that in a restaurant he'd order "chest of chicken." This was during the times when it was actually possible to do comedy. That is, before the left took over everything.
He will be missed!
