Hysterical Rivera Rants about Caravan on The Five

The media and their Democratic allies are all wee-wee'd up (to borrow a phrase from Obama) about the use of tear gas on the so-called "refugees" at the border.
Fox News' Hispanic answer to Elizabeth Warren's Cherokee nationalism, Geraldo Rivera (aka Jerry Riviera) exploded on The Five Monday on Fox News: " This goes to my soul. Fulfilling my role as the designated piñata on Fox News, I wanna say I am ashamed. This teargas choked me. We treat these people — these economic refugees — as if they’re zombies from The Walking Dead. We arrested 42 people, eight of them were women with children! We have to deal with this problem humanely and with compassion! These are not invaders. Stop using these military analogies. This is absolutely painful to watch!
We are a nation of immigrants. These are desperate people. They walked 2,000 miles. Why?! Because they want to rape your daughter or steal your lunch?! No. Because they want a job! They want to fill the millions of unfilled jobs we have in the agricultural sector. They want to wash dishes in the restaurants. They wanna deliver the pizzas. For goodness sake! Can’t we suspend our humanity when it comes to this issue? And I fear that it is because they look different than the mainstream."

Ah, Jerry; you simply have to know better. If not you have no business in the position you occupy.
First we DID deal with this humanely. Tear gas is a very humane tool to use on lawbreakers. Nobody shot these people, or even fired rubber bullets or rock salt at them. (I favored using those weapons personally.) No; our border patrol used tear gas (which only burns the eyes a bit temporarily and probably is less painful than a Hillary Clinton speech) only AFTER these "refugees" tried to storm the border fence and pelted our guards with rocks. The last time I checked throwing rocks at someone constituted assault and were I to do it to a police officer I may well get shot. Most countries would not have used tear gas but rather would just have shot at these people. We did not even fire a warning shot.
By the way the Obama Administration regularly tear-gased invading aliens. I guess you missed that..
And who put the children in harm's way? 'Tweren't the border patrol.
Yes, they ARE invaders. If you force your onto property where you do not belong and are uninvited you are an invader. Perhaps you would allow someone to kick down the front door in your home and set up housekeeping with your family? I rather doubt it.
And they did not walk 2000 miles. That would have taken months. This Caravan has only been on the road since mid October; it is impossible to walk that far that fast, even for military people. So, either this IS an invading army with extremely well-conditiioned troops or somebody drove them here. And if you look at the predominantly military-age male caravan, their shoes are in extraordinarily good condition, as are their clothes and backpacks. They didn't make a tough journey at all. They are well fed and clean.
Every nation is a nation of immigrants, you dolt! The human race originated in the Rift Valleys in East Africa and immigrated from there. American Indians are no more aboriginal to this land than are whites or African Americans. And many "traditional" peoples took the land from someone else. The Japanese drove out the caucasion natives from their islands, the Ainu, for instance. The original Britons were Celtic peoples driven out by the Angles and Saxons and Jutes and and Normans. The Latins were pushed out of Italy to an extent by German settlers. The Russians have considerable Tatar blood. That does not mean any nation has to be overrun by people just because those people wish to settle there. A nation has a right to decide who is belongs there. And a nation has a right to pass laws and create rules of entry. You don't have the right to jump the line just because you want to. Did Geraldo every wait in line for something, say, to get in a movie only to have some aggressive person step in front to steal his place? That is exactly what these people are doing.
Immigrants don't break in. These people are trespassers, housebreakers.
And we owe them exactly nothing. They are not entitled to steal American jobs, or American social services, or anything that we have built and made. The notion that they just want to work and we should somehow bend over backwards to accomodate them is horse piddle. These are OUR jobs, not theirs. They should try to fix their own countries rather than try to invade and wreck ours.
Oh, and Jerry, you say these people want to deliver pizzas and whatnot, but not rape our daughters. Ever heard of Miguel C. Luna? He was the illegal alien who raped and toruted a New York woman.
How about Ever Martinez-Reyes? Then there was Reynaldo Mora who raped and impregnated a 13 year old special needs girl. See also this and this and this if you need more examples.
Riviera has self-styled himself an Hispanic (his father was Puerto Rican and his mother an Ashkenazi Jew) and HE has certainly done well in American society, yet he claims we are rejecting these "immigrants" because they "look different". If that were the case, if prejudice had anything to do with it, why did he change his name from Gerald to Geraldo? He rightly understood that this would help his career. Now he wants us to believe otherwise.
Jerry was raised jewish in Brooklyn, I might add. He's as Hispanic as a spaghetti western Indian is an Apache.
In point of fact, Geraldo is just another Rachel Dolezol, a faux minority. And he has to pretend to be enraged by his "brothers" being discriminated against. Sure.
I can't imaging why Roger Ailes hired this dope in the first place. He's repeatedly made a fool of himself, and has nothing of value to add to Fox News. Sadly, he holds a position that a lot of very bright people would love to have. And I don't think he realizes just how lucky he is. But then, he got his start in journalism because the FCC was pushing for more minorities in the newsroom; he was an affirmative action hire. What do you expect.
