Wisconsin Government Directs Workers to Obstruct ICE

Timothy Birdnow

Heads need to roll.

Wisconsin State Employees Instructed to Obstruct ICE Agents

This is interference with law enforcement and should be treated as a criminal offense.

Why would state officials risk so much to protect criminals? This shows the whole illegal alien invasion was the cornerstone of the Democrats political empire strategy and they cannot allow it to end. They desperately need to overwhelm the majority of Americans, to replace Americans, so they can hold onto power.

We've got to stop pussy-footing around with these crooks.

Hobbs Protects the Cartels

Timothy Birdnow

Arizona's Democratic Governor Katie Robs, er, Hobbs has vetoed a bill requiring local and state law enforcement to cooerate with ICE in a specatcular middle finger to all the citizens of the great state of Arizona. People will die because this puta cares more about illegal aliens and the drug cartels than about the citizens of her own state.

Hobbslikesly stole her seat in the first place, I might add, as there was massive vote fraud in the election.

Here is the real kicker from the story:

"In her veto letter issued Tuesday, Hobbs defended her decision by asserting that immigration enforcement responsibilities should not be imposed on state and local officials by federal policy.

???!!!

The Federal government has the SOLE authority to do this - not state or local governments. Immigration and border enforcement are entirely witnin the purview of the Federal government and she knows it. "Sanctuary cities" and refusing to cooperate with ICe is little more than sedition and anarchical lawbreaking.

Back during the Obama Administration the state of Arizona passed a law affirming Federal immigration law and making them state laws. The Obama Administration sued on the grounds that ONLY the Federal government has the authority to enforce immigration law. I can't find any specific comment by Hobbs, but I am quite certain she opposed that law at the time and on the same basis as did the Obama Administration. She had no concern for state's right back then, I have little doubt. Now suddenly she's John C. Calhoun on the issue.

The GOP can override her veto; hopefully they will do the right thing. And they need to use this, to shout it from the rooftops. Hobbs is up for re-election in 2026. This could be the nail in her coffin - if the Republicans don't foul it all up. They are great at that.

Joe Biden Played Eye Spy

Timothy Birdnow

Joe Biden gave the go-ahead for law enforcement agencies to spy on Americans for no reason except their political affiliations, according to a recently declassified memo.

According to the article:

"A newly declassified government memo from June 2021 reveals that the Biden administration authorized federal law enforcement and intelligence agencies to investigate Americans based on "concerning” but non-criminal behavior—particularly targeting individuals with military backgrounds, pro-Second Amendment views, or those expressing what the administration deemed "xenophobic” disinformation.

The disclosure came after Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard released an unredacted version of the Biden-era "Strategic Implementation Plan for Countering Domestic Terrorism.”

The document outlined sweeping authorities for the Department of Justice and the FBI, including guidelines that critics say lowered traditional standards for launching federal investigations into American citizens."

fin

This is clearly a gross abuse of power and undoubtedly a criminal act.

The article continues:

"According to the memo, agencies were instructed to "drive…executive and legislative action” on policies such as banning assault weapons, regulating "ghost guns,” and expanding surveillance of military personnel for potential recruitment into extremist activity.

The memo also directed agencies to identify and mitigate "xenophobia and bias,” including in the context of COVID-19 responses."

Bias and "xenophobia" are not crimes, nor is thinking the Second Amendment actually means what it says. That Biden's DOJ was instructed to treat it as such shows his whole Administration was indeed a junta, a regime, and abused their power in a spectacular way. Had this been done overseas by somebody else we would have called it out, sanctioned, and possibly removed via a "color revolution".

This is America and we have the Bill of Rights. Among them is the Fourth Amendment:

"The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things..."

We also have the First Amendment which guarantees our right to freely speak our minds, and to assemble as we see fit.

Clearly this was an aggregious attempt to thwart those rights by our government.

I feared this when the "war on terror" led many to willingly surrender their rights to privacy and free expression in a vain quest to find the illusion of safety. As Benjamin Franklyn said:

"Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."

And that is what we have gotten - what we deserve. We gave the government the keys to the kingdom and are then surprised when the King turns out to be a tyrant.

It's odd; I rememberwhen the Left was going bananas over these kinds of violations of American rights. For instance, here is the ACLU with their panties in a bunch over warrantless surveillance back when Bush was President. Odd how they had nothing to say when Obama was spying on everybody, or when Biden did this.

But this goes beyond probable cause to suspect a crime; it was the weaponization of the law against political opponents, plain and simple. People need to go to jail over this. And that includes the demented former President of the United States.

And they dare call TRUMP Hitler!

Is it any wonder they have tried to kill Donald Trump twice now? They were terrified of this getting out.

The ACLU Alice is in Wonderland

Timothy Birdnow

The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) claims "climate protections" aka the Green Grift and DEI are "fundamental pillars of our free and democratic society.”

Odd; I don't find either mentioned anywhere in the American Constitution, nor in the British Magna Carta.

ACLU: The Rule of Law Is Non-Negotiable | Opinion – Newsweek

The Rule of Law isn't negotiable, which is why so many of us oppose both of these lawless initiatives; they violate the basic rules governing our society. THEY are the transgressors. International environmentalism is an attempt to overthrow the rights of both our citizens and our nation, and DEI is an attempt to make some citizens superior to others. Both are the antithesis of a free and democratic society. Both impose the will of a minority over the rest of us.

What's in a Name? Persian Gulf now Gulf of Arabia

Timothy Birdnow

Having successfully renamed the Gulf of Mexico President Donald Trump is now setting his sights on international waters with a plan to rename the Persian Gulf "the Gulf of Arabia".

Actually, that has long been an alternate name for that particular body of water. But it's been called the Persian Gulf since the 16th century by the West, despite the fact most of the Arab world calls it the Gulf of Arabia.

It's pretty clear what Trump is doing; he's erasing Iran from the books with this. This is a not-so-subtle way of pressuring Iran into making a deal; come to the table or be forgotten.

This further isolates Shiite Iran from her Sunni Muslim neighbors; it's the Sunni's in the region who want the name change. This will exacerbate the divide between the two branches of Islam, of which Iran is the predominant Shiite power.

Internationally, the official name change has to ne determined by the International Hydrographic Organization, and that seems perhaps a bit unlikely, though the U.S. is a member. But a defacto name change in the U.S. will probably wind up official in the long run.

Right now Trump needs the good will of the Arab countries in the region (Iran is not Arab) and this will buy some. Trump has plans to broker a peace deal and fundamentally remake the political atmosphere of the Middle East, and for that he needs Arab countries - particularly Saudi Arabia - on board. He needs to keep the oil flowing as the U.S. ramps up production. He needs to politically and economically isolate Iran. This helps to do all of that.

It's actually a brilliant manuever; I would never have thought of it myself.

So Gulf of Arabia it is!

Oh, by the way, Trump has the Houthis begging for a deal after he made it clear he would wipe them all out. Iran backs the Houthis, who have seriously crippled world trade by attacking shipping at the entrance to the Red Sea (and thus between the Mediterranean and the Indian Ocean.) Trump is squeezing Iran on all fronts.

Operation Sindoor

Timothy Birdnow

India and Pakistan are now at war.

India launched retaliatory missile strikes on Pakistan after a massacre of 26 Indian and Nepalese tourists in Kashmir. The retaliatory strike killed 31 Pakistanis and has led to the government of Pakistan vowing vengeance.

India has launched #OperationSindoor, a precise and restrained response to the barbaric #PahalgamTerrorAttack that claimed 26 lives, including one Nepali citizen. Focused strikes were carried out on nine #terrorist infrastructure sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and…

— Ministry of Defence, Government of India (@SpokespersonMoD) May 6, 2025

Pakistan claims to have taken out at least five Indian aircraft during the strike.

In the usual Islamic fashion the terrorists who murdered the tourists were masked so as to give Pakistan plausible deniability. Pakistan claims it had nothing to do with the attacks.

Perhaps not, but I am certain they did not shed many tears over them either. Actually I'm sure India did not go off half-cocked and start a war with Pakistan if they weren't sure it was them.

At any rate the Pakistani government's National Security Committee issued this statement:

"reserves the right to respond, in self-defense, at a time, place, and manner of its choosing to avenge the loss of innocent Pakistani lives and blatant violation of its sovereignty.”

"The Armed Forces of Pakistan have duly been authorized to undertake corresponding actions in this regard,” the statement said, adding, "The nation stands galvanized and resolute in the face of any further aggression.”

There has never been any love lost between Pakistan and India. Once both were part of the British colony of India, when the subcontinent gained independence it was divided into two countries - India and Pakistan - and Pakistan was a divided nation, with East and West pakistan split by India. East Pakistan gained it's independence from Pakistan early on, becoming Bengladesh. (There were a few other small places that became independent too when India was created, like Bhutan and the now-defunct Sikkhim, but they were small and relatively unimportant.) Pakistan was created for the Muslims and India for the Hindus. The divorce was quite acrimonious; marched in huge columns east and south, Muslims norht and west, and enormous riots between the two sides broke out as the two columns passed each-other. Britain was the only thing that had kept their hatred of each-other in check over the years, and with Britain out the two competing religions almost fought a genocidal war. One of the sticking points was and remains Kashmir, a northern province.

Kashmir wasn't given to either India or Pakistan when the British left; it was left up to the ruling maharaja, a guy named Hari Singh,to choose which country his fiefdom would join. He chose India, and this led to an immediate civil war between the Muslims there and the Hindus in 1947. (By the way, the name Pakistan is an amalgamation of the name of five provinces - Punjab, Afghania, Kashmir, Sindh & Baluchistan- so Pakistan understandably believes they are the rightful owners of Kashmir, as it's in their name.) There has been terrorism and war between Hindus and Muslims in Kashmir ever since.

And when India invented the atomic bomb the Pakistanis vowed to make their own, and they did with A.Q. Khan's program. Now both are nuclear armed. (Khan got much of his tech from the West through subtrefuge; India invented it all on their own.)

So two nuclear powers are now at war and this thing could escalate very quickly.

The Indian Defense Minister stated that the attacks carried out were aimed entirely at terrorist infrastructure and camps.

India and Pakistan have fought four wars since their independence, three over Kashmir and other Himalayan territories.

In 2001 Pakistani terrorists invaded India's parliament, shooting the MP's with machine guns and killing 6 people. Terrorist attacks against India are common. The inverse is not at all true.

(BTW is it any wonder Barack Hussein Obama loved what he calls "Puckistan"? What does that say about our former President.)

Given that Pakistan is full of terrorists, and given that they come out of the jihadist ideology (where don't Muslims fight with their neighbors? Wherever they hold a majority, or even a strong minority, they fight with their neighbors and launch terrorist attacks) who doubts for a minute Pakistan started this?

Maybe we should send Obama to mediate this, as he loves Pukistan and perhaps the Muslims there would listen to him?

At any rate this is looking tobe the big one there.

Tillis Trying to Kill Martin Appointment - Give the Appointing Power to Boasberg

Timothy Birdnow

This is what you get when you let RINO Republicans have power.

Trump backed Thom Tills for Majority Leader and now Tillis plans to oppose Ed Martin, Trump's pick for the D.C. Circuit.

Bot only can this tank Tillis' nomination, but who fills the vacancy could wind up being decided by none other than James Bozoberg, er, Boasberg, the judge who has it in for Donald Trump. That's because Trump appointed Martin as interim to the D.C. District Court and his term expires on May 19. Martin could be replaced by someone chosen by Boasberg, who oversees this particular D.C. circuit. The law is so structured.

Martin has prioritized fighting actual crime over political persecutions. The Left hatest hat.

So Tillis may wind up putting another deep stater into power.

I knew Tillis would be little improvement over Mitch McConnell and it appears I was right.

It is theorized Boasberg might appoint Jack "the Ripper" Smith to the job, you know, the man who went after Donald Trump.

Apparently the fact Martin doesn't think J6 was that big a deal is disqualifying to Tillis.

Now more than ever we need Trump to lay the law down with Tilis; he needs to know Trump will ruin him if he doesn't do as he's should.

Chinese Banks in Free Fall

Timothy Birdnow

Trump's policies are working.

China’s 6 Biggest Banks Report $1 Billion Profit Drop

FTTA:

China’s six largest banks have posted first-quarter reports with a significant drop in both earnings and profits.

Experts said the profit drop in China’s banking industry indicates a stalling economy that is likely to continue to worsen as the effects of the tariff war between China and the United States kick in.

The six Chinese major banks, which are all state-owned—Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Agricultural Bank of China, Bank of China, China Construction Bank, Bank of Communications, and China Postal Savings Bank—released their first-quarter data on April 29. Taken together, their net profit attributable to parent companies fell by 7.3 billion yuan ($1 billion) compared with the same period in 2024—a decrease of about 2 percent.

Among them, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC), the world’s largest lender by assets, saw a 4 percent net profit drop year-over-year. The Bank of China posted a 2.9 percent decrease from the year before.

The six banks reported a total revenue of 910.2 billion yuan ($125 billion) in the first quarter, a year-over-year decrease of 13.9 billion yuan ($1.9 billion).

I've always said China is a paper tiger, and the kitty is now being neutered. We could have done this any time we liked; it just took the will to do it.

Mangiione May Walk

Timothy Birdnow

A female officer involved in Luigi Mangione's case botched the job and it could well lead the murderer to walk free.

Fromthe Revolver article:

According to his lawyers, Mangione’s backpack was illegally searched right after police found him at a McDonald’s in Pennsylvania. Now they’re demanding that everything inside be tossed from the case.

And if a judge agrees, the entire case could fall apart, and one of the most high-profile murder trials in recent memory could blow up over a mistake made by a female officer.

But sadly, this isn’t just about one bad call. It’s about a dangerous pattern driven by DEI hiring, where meeting diversity quotas is more important than choosing the best people for one of the hardest, most stressful jobs on the planet. Just like the military, law enforcement shouldn’t be a social experiment. It’s life and death and more and more Americans are starting to ask the hard question: Are all these diversity-first hires really equipped to handle these high-performance jobs?

Gothamist:

Luigi Mangione’s lawyers allege that police illegally searched his backpack after locating him at a McDonald’s in Pennsylvania, and that none of the evidence inside should be allowed at trial, according to a motion filed Thursday evening.

If a judge agrees, it could pose a major hurdle for the Manhattan district attorney’s office, which is prosecuting one of several criminal cases against the 26-year-old, who is accused of killing United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson in December.

"Law enforcement has methodically and purposefully trampled his constitutional rights,” the filing states, "in violation of the Fifth Amendment and illegally searching his property.”

So lack of care in the handling of evidence and not following proceedure could let Mangione get away with murder - literally.

Or not. A supporter of the cop killer posted this on X:

BREAKING: Latest motion states patrolwoman searched Luigi’s backpack at McDonald’s without a warrant, then repacked the items and left the restaurant with the backpack, with no body cam footage for the next 11 minutes during her drive to the precinct. Upon arriving at the precinct, she resumed the warrantless search and "found a handgun in the front compartment.”

and

Upon arriving at the… pic.twitter.com/0FF948WqQ8

— The Luigi Case (@LuigiCaseFiles) May 2, 2025

But that's not how the law works. They couldn't search his home without a warrant but a backpack in a McDonalds is certainly fair game where probable cause is concerned. Police search cars routinely without warrants, as well as do personal body searches when they suspect a crime. It's not codified but is common law. See Justia for more information.

What is more likely to be the sticking point here is the lack of body camera footage.

I warned at the time they started pushing female cops that this would lead to many more police shootings; a woman police officer is going to find it quite difficult to physically subdue a real thug. She has only one option - her firearm - if there are no other cops to back her up. And of course DEI has made for a big push to get female cops.

I've been pulled over by women cops before and it's almost always unpleasant; they have something to prove. One pulled me over because I wasn't wearing a seat belt (she ostensibly pulled me over because she said I weaved which isn't true. I was coming home from the Ozark Hilton.) She gave me a rash of crap about not wearing the seat belt, and a ticket (police cannot legally pull you over for not wearing a belt but can issue it as a second ticket in Missouri.) When I get pulled over I remain businesslike so there can be no argument. She didn't kept demanding an answer as to why I wasn't wearing the belt. Got quite nasty about it. Called me a liar when I said I just forgot to put it on. I just had to shrug and treat her like a child having a tantrum. Juxtapose this with a male cop who pulled me over for blowing a stop sign. He asked why I did it and I told him I really, really had to go to the bathroom. He handed my license back "get out of her, just please don't do it again" and that was that. HE had nothing to prove.

At any rate whether this lady cop screwed things up or not, it shows that the police just aren't hiring the right people and are more concerned with DEI training than with actual police procedure.

The REAL Catholic Bashers

Timothy Birdnow

While Democrats were shrieking about the Trump as Pope meme they were busily passing the most anti-Catholic measure in American history.

New York Governor Kathy Hochum, er, Hochel had this to say on X:

This is deeply offensive to me and to my fellow Catholics around the world as we continue to mourn our beloved Pope Francis. https://t.co/i3Uv3zjwdT

— Governor Kathy Hochul (@GovKathyHochul) May 3, 2025

California Democrat Ted Lieu had a complete meltdown:

As a Catholic, I take great offense to Donald Trump mocking Catholics.

I wish Trump would focus on lowering prices instead. The American economy had negative GDP growth last quarter. That’s what he should be focused on instead of making fun of Catholics. https://t.co/MLJB9ccW8t

— Ted Lieu (@tedlieu) May 3, 2025

Hochul and Lieu are both ostensibly Catholics.

Yet Washington State Democrats just passed (and Governor Ferguson signed) HB5375 which compels priests to break the seal of the confessional by reporting sexual or other abuse of minors to the autthorities when they hear about it in the rite of Penance.

Who is mocking Catholicism? Who is damaging the Church? A laugh or two about Trump as Pope is far, far better than forcing priests to break the sacrosanct confidentiality of the confessional.

This law cannot possibly stand; it's a clear, unequivocal violation of the First Amendment. But stranger things have happened, especially with the current Supreme Court (where it will wind up.)

Church Cannon Law states:

"The sacramental seal is inviolable; therefore, it is a crime for a confessor in any way to betray a penitent [confessor] by word or in any other manner or for any reason … A confessor who directly violates the seal of confession incurs an automatic [latae sententiae] excommunication reserved to the Apostolic See.”

Which means Washington State priests are morally obligated to disobey this law. They are now in a catch-22; follow the laws of Man or follow the laws of the Church.

Every state in the union has attorney-client privilege. If you tell your attorney something in confidence while he is preparing your case he cannot be compelled to disclose it except under very limited circumstances. And lawyers aren't even covered in the Bill of Rights. Priests, who are representatives of a major religion, actually are covered by the First Amendment.

So you people who are so jacked-up about Trump's meme need to get over it. In fact the whole tempest-in-a-teapot over this very likely is intended to throw cover to Washington State over this trail balloon law. While they were shreiking about Trump the Catholic Basher they were taking an executioner's ax to the entire Catholic faith.

Anyone remember Obama and the Democrats trying to remove the tax-exempt status of the Sisters of Charity? Or his FBI placing them on a list of potential terrorists? Democrats are the ones who go after Catholicism, not the other way around. And they pass laws that are antithetical to Catholicism, like laws protecting abortion, or euthanasia, or gay marriage.

Who are the Catholic Bahsers? 'Taint Donald J. Trump, that's for sure.

Anyone remember Obama's IRS pulling the tax exemption of the Sisters of Charity? Anyone remember the Pink Sisters being listed as possible terrorists by the FBI? I'm sorry but a meme isn't a big deal - actions speak much, much louder than words. Democrats are the ones who are anti-Catholic.

I say let the Conclave speak; Pope Donald I will make it one big, beautiful Church and Make America Catholic Again! If nothing else he'll open one heckuva great hotel in Vatican City.

I've read this in the past (at American Thinker) and it speaks volumes, not just about Africa either. Many of the problems in the black community in America seem to be holdovers from the problems endemic in Africa itself.

What I Learned in the Peace Corps in Africa

Extended families, allegiance to kin over society in general, a lack of the Golden Rule, a culture where men do as they please and women do all the work, etc. all conspire to keep the Africans in Senegal down. The things Karen Quillin learned there sound suspiciously similar to what we find in ghetto areas of American cities.

Read it all; it's eye opening.

Mike Gallagher is Wrong

Timothy Birdnow

Mike Gallagher is a dope.

He is rambling on about how bad it was for Trump to troll the liberals by putting out a meme of him as Pope.

Gallagher was droning about how we need to "take the high road" and asked "do we need to provoke the other side" and said "it doesn't help him to get done what he needs to get done". ???? Hasn't this guy been around for a while? We took the high road for decades it where did it get us?

Trump does this kind of thing to a.rile his enemies so they make mistakes and look foolish and b.he wants to keep himself in the spotlight. Both serve his ends.

Sun Tzu, the great Chinese military philosopher, admonished generals to be unpredictable. He also admonished them to anger or otherwise inflame passions in their opponents. This is what Trump does quite successfully with this tactic. The Left has always understood this. Take Saul Alinsky "ridicule is Man's most potent weapon. It is infuriating and cannot be rationally fought". Trump is essentially ridiculing the Left here, even while he appears to be being irreverent.

As to the latter point, Trump rightly understands that people are not inspired by the whole Ashley Wilkes sort of honorable and noble approach. Who do you root for in Gone with the Wind? The scoundrel Rhett Butler, not Wilkes, who is by all measure a better man but a less honest one than Butler. It's Trump's finger-in-the-eye that has led him to capture the Millenial votes, I would add. Furthermore, Trump understands that he needs to fire up the base, to keep us engaged and excited. Why did the Reagan Revolution peter out? Because the mantle was handed to George H.W. Bush, a RINO and Internationalist who demanded we be softer and more like Ashley Wilkes. Reagan's revolution died because there was nothing to keep the rank-and-file inspired. Trump is inspiring, even when he's being an ass.

Trump understand all this, yet Mike Gallagher, a good conservative but a largely useless one, wants to take us back to the "high road" which winds up at a collapsed bridge. He lived through all this; he should know better by now.

People like Mike Gallagher are the reason why we are always on the defensive. He argues that we need to move forward and accomplish things rather than mess with them. He said WE are acting like we aren't in power. It's quite the opposite; the Democrats did this to us whenever THEY were in power after all. IF we allow the Democrats and the media time to set the narrative, to key in for the attacks, they will win. Trump is forcing them to react, rather than to launch pro-active attacks. I can't imagine how an establishment Republican can still exist in this day and age. They never won anything.

Trump wins because he knows he needs to keep them angry. It's really that simple. He controls the news cycle - they don't.

Sorry Mike but you are a huge part of the problem.

BTW He just expressed his befuddlement at the fact the media and the Left and all who hate Trump find nothing but fault with him. Gallagher apparently isn't aware of Saul Alinski "you are on the side of angels and they are on the side of devils". NOTHING Trump does will be good, so he may as well troll them and watch their heads explode.
