The The New York Times - Science citing late IPCC lead contributor Stephen Schneider, in 1976: "The climate is going to get unreliable. It is going to get cold. Harvest failures and regional famines will be more frequent."

Interestingly enough his first prediction seems to be on the ascendancy. But now he and the rest are committed to global warming. The fact is the people who pushed this are all political hacks and not scientists.
