Fight for Redistricting in Missouri!

Missouri is a state with a Republican supermajority in both houses of congress and a Republican governor, yet you wouldn't think that from the way they run the state.
Not long ago they passed a big gas tax hike, the first in decades here. From a Republican supermajority!
Now they are waffling on redistricting. Instead of sending strong Republicans to Washington many RINO types want to allow the Democrats to keep their districts.
Redistricting was placed in the states precisely because those states could act as a check on the imperial power of the Federal government. It is a part of Federalism. And it is intended to be partisan, and always has been. It is the way the Will of the People is expressed. Otherwise just winning key seats is all that would matter, and winning at the Federal level. This forces a party to compete at the state level and in that way the states matter. We've been moving to an imperial system where the states are mere provinces.
At any rate, I received this in my mailbox this morning and thought it worth reposting:
From John Webb:
AGAIN, The People Need to Come to Jefferson City Monday, Feb. 7 We need You and the 7-1 map
Monday, Feb. 7 they go into session at noon. We need to shine the light and crank up the heat!
We need to encourage the weaker members of the Republican caucus in our State Senate to go with the 7:1 Congressional map.
We need to send every Pro-life Republican the US House of Representatives we can.
In Missouri we CAN send SEVEN Republicans to DC we don’t have to settle for the week 6:2 map (which will likely end up as a 5:3 map before the next census and Redistricting) that the Missouri House passed (barely) and the Senate is scheduled to bring up on the floor on Monday, Feb. 7 when they go into session at noon. We need to shine the light and crank up the heat! We need to help our Conservative Caucus Champions in the State Senate!
We are asking God and The People of Missouri to do it again!!
