If this is true, the FBI (soon to be renamed FIB) is a bigger can of worms than we have believed it to be. Fox News' Sara Carter is revealed as a darn good investigative journalist.

A word from Tim: FIB? I like it!

I feared this sort of thing years ago when the DEA started doing property forfeiture without due process. It was clearly an extra-Constitutional thing, but nobody complained then and it should have been a red flag. Ditto programs like PRISM and other NSA spying operations. That's how the Left does things; start small, with a "common sense" move, then ratchet it up. It's sort of like the Devil; he doesn't start by tempting you to murder, just, say, cheat on your wife and then take it from there.

I was listening to a good deal of middle of the road radio yesterday (due to my not having access to conservative) and it is still amazing how many people don't think this is a big thing or think it's politics as usual. This should horrify any American with half a brain, but sadly it doesn't. America has become conditioned to a government that spies on us, and even sets us up when convenient.

Without a jealous concern for liberty we will lose it -as we seem to be doing.
