After Hilary Clinton and Obama supported a Muslim Brotherhood Coup in Egypt, the Egyptian Military threw them out. Since then Egypt has told the USA, "don't call, don't write".

The Wall Street Journal reports that Egypt ignored requests from the United States to close Egyptian airspace to Russian military flights.
