The prof is in the "math education" department. that means the education department, a group of not so bright "scholars." So when was the last time Africa sent a ship across the Atlantic in the 15th or 16th Century? How many oil refineries were created by black African companies to extract oil in Nigeria? Maybe she would be happier selling earrings and wool hats out of a pushcart than working at a university with all that white privilege.

Last year there was a movie called Hidden Figures about some brilliant black women who did calculations for NASA in the days of the Jim Crow South. Astronaut John Glenn insisted they do the calculations for his personal launch into space. If they would have listened to this young educated fool in the news today, they might have decided to seek a career picking cotton by hand.

You noticed, I'm sure, that the author of this piece of comedy has a Hispanic last name and certainly looks like a Latina. By the standards of today's Left, that makes her a "person of color," so she's writing at least partly about her own "struggles." She's probably one of those women who can't add up her checkbook without a calculator, or a computer program such as Quicken.
