In his philosophical and historical treatise "Reflections on the Causes of the Greatness and Fall of the Romans", Ch. Montesquieu noted the following natural social movements and transformations: "Rome was in a state of continuous and brutal war; but a nation that is constantly waging war, a nation in which war serves as the principle of government, must inevitably perish or triumph over by all other nations, which, both in time of war and in time of peace, are not so adapted to waging offensive or defensive war. ... The fate of almost all peoples in the world consisted in the transition too quickly from poverty to wealth and from wealth to spiritual and moral corruption. ... During the short tyranny of the Decemvirs, it was clearly revealed to what extent the greatness of Rome was connected with its freedom. It's as if the state has lost the soul that inspired it." Thus, any prudent people, developing from generation to generation, must, for their self-preservation, like the apple of their eye, protect their God-given dignity and destiny, freedom and responsibility before God the Creator and other peoples of the world; otherwise, he will lose his spiritual face, soul and the opportunity for his long-term prosperity, as well as meaningful and useful fruiting for other peoples and all mankind.
