Citizens of the World

From Sen. Tom Cotton:
The problem with most corporations are they see themselves as "citizens of the world" and not American. They have a fraternity of big money which they seek where the big markets are located. Things like voter i.d. laws are bad to them because they a.hurt Democrats, who offer the corporations protection and give them taxpayer money and b.places like China don't want a hard liner like Trump ever to be elected again and that hurts the corporate pocketbook.
I argued this point about George W. Bush years ago, that he had no problem with illegal immigration because he was essentially an internationalist and couldn't see what the fuss was about. OF COURSE we should bring in cheap labor from outside the country! Why wouldn't we? Bush made lots of money from profitable foreign parntnerships and he never understood that the average American saw his country being taken away and saw himself losing money and jobs.
This is how these big corporations view things - and why they will fight something like voter I.D. while support the Chicoms or other enemies of America who offer profit to them.

Let’s take a stand against the ill-informed and woke CEOs who think
voter ID laws are racist but lobby against bills punishing Communist
China for committing genocide.
