When I saw two news articles on this couple, it was painted as a couple of gun crazy rich people who owned a bigger house than they deserved. It turns out the mob broke into private property, at least two of the mob physically threatened the couple. Under Missouri law, the couple could have shot to kill.

The Central West End used to be a rundown area in St. Louis with decayed mansions. That changed as younger people bought these dilapidated properties and restored them over years. This couple was one such. Now the Central West End is trendy, and Mayor Lyda Krewson lives there in splendor, a classic limousine liberal.
This couple's property had once belonged to the Busch family. I would defend it with firearms too.

I'm with that couple all the way. And the guy's "scary" "assault weapon" is cool. Nancy Pelosi probably had a case of the vapors when she saw the video. Too bad they didn't have a wall... oh wait, they don't work around private property unless the owners are liberals like Nancy.

Dana, the more I look into this the more I think it was a setup. These two people are both DEMOCRATIC lawyers who devote their efforts to "social justice" issues. A lot of people pointed out the careless way the woman is brandishing her weapon. I wonder if they didn't plan this for the photo-op. And of course; they knew this was not prosecutable.
My brother Brian tells me he heard on KMOX radio that Prosecuting Attorney Kim Gardner (a Soros acolyte and the woman who brought down Eric Greitens with horribly unethical and illegal tactics) is saying they will be prosecuted. But in the end I am confident either no charges will be filed OR they will be tried and quickly acquitted - something to further inflame the anarchists, which may be the whole point.
BTW Gardner stopped prosecuting drug crimes in her jurisdiction, as well as many other crimes. She produced a "do not prosecute" list of police officers; she won't prosecute criminals if arrested by this group. She said she would not prosecute any rioters or looters.
Republicans have a supermajority in the Missouri Congress and they hold the Governorship and could easily impeach her. But they are such cowards they wouldn't even dare rebuke a "woman of color" publicly.

I think you're probably right, Tim. They are too much the "right out of Central Casting" types. That woman probably had to be really convinced that revolver wouldn't go "bang" before she agreed to hold it. If she did fire it, rest assured any barn doors in the neighborhood are safe.
And the guy looks almost as uncomfortable with that fancy rifle as Obama did in that shot of him shooting some kind of rifle back when he was disgracing the WH, remember that one?
