3 There are battery powered leaf blowers available, for instance, but they are totally unsuitable for commercial use. The battery is good for about two hours or less, and the strength of the air stream is pathetic. Leaves bigger than a postage stamp are unmoved.

Lawn mowers? Had to pause there to recover my equanamity. Battery powered? Forget it. Corded models? Sure, but try mowing a football field with a corded electric mower. And bear in mind that a football field is small, very small, in terms of landscapes.

2024 is just two years away. The investment for landscape companies is off the scale. Even if that many batteries were available, they would need to buy bigger trucks to carry all the extra batteries they would need in the course of the day.

4 You're right Bill. I had a battery operated leaf blower. It makes a dandy paperweight.

And I had an electric mower with a cord (which my father gave me when he stopped mowing HIS grass) and it was a huge pain; you had to always watch that cord lest it wind up under the mower and you cut it. It would only work on a small city lawn like mine, too. No way to cut a big yard.

This is stupidity on steroids. It's no wonder everyone is leaving California.

I guess Noose'em will have illegal aliens hand-sheering lawns next.
