India Pays for Russian Coal with Yuan

Timothy Birdnow

This is bad, very bad. Once the dollar ceases to be the international currency our economy will crumble. This is the beginning of the end for us, I fear.

https://www.wionews.com/world/indian-cement-maker-used-yuan-to-purchase-russian-coal-report-495528?fbclid=IwAR3sA41N32OzqajKLzvV9UMWDyNw-FX0dtWQ8Ju7QmxaMDQwEW3OgbZ6dbc

An Indian cement manufacturer recently purchased Russian coal by paying with the yuan currency with the help of India’s biggest private bank, HDFC Bank, news agency Reuters reported.

The main aim of the report was not to pinpoint that the purchase breaches the sanctions imposed by the West on Russia in the wake of the Ukrainian invasion. Rather it seeks to highlight the various ways Russia can sell items abroad without heavily relying on the US dollar.

Citing an invoice dated June 5 and a source familiar with the matter, Reuters reported that HDFC Bank backed cement maker Ultratech's purchase of Russian coal from producer and trader SUEK for 172.7 million yuan ($25.74 million).

The HDFC Bank’s Mumbai branch of Andheri East issued the letter of credit for the deal, according to the invoice.

The dollar is the currency of choice for global trade in raw materials, but some traders say the yuan could be increasingly used to settle payments for supplies from Russia.

Lest We Forget

Morris A. Ott

Lest We Forget...

Happened right here in Western Australia

The Great Emu War

In 1932 emus were running amok in the farmlands of Campion, WA so the Australian military were called in to ‘manage the situation’… with machine guns. One month and 10,000 rounds later, the crestfallen field force of humans withdrew from combat having only knocked off only 986 of the 20,000 bullet-dodging feathered heroes. Emus won the war. Lest we forget.

Musk Wants Out of Twitter Deal

Maurizi Morabitu

Musk says he doesn't want to buy Twitter anymore. I can only imagine the colossal nonsense that will be written about it by Corriere, Open and all Italian newspapers.

There are only 3 important things in this story:

1. Leaving the negotiation is normal in a negotiation. He got discounts for over ten thousand years

2. Twitter wants to take Musk to court to force him into the purchase. In other words, the current management wants to get rid of Twitter, they have no plans to develop the platform, they don’t think others will buy it at the same price or higher, and they don’t expect the stock quotation to rise in the short or medium end

3. The lawsuit in court will concern the number of fake Twitter accounts. The pervert management is less than 5%. Musk says he got no evidence in that regard. The lawsuit would lead the firm to disclose the evidence in public, a senseless action if they don’t want to disclose it privately.

So this is a circus of smoke and mirrors and this story isn't over, actually.

Translated from the Italian

Tim adds:

Musk has exposed Twitter for the Potemkin Village it is. And of course, after the Left had a meltdown about his purchase, the company itself now is desperate for the deal to go through, which means they tried to sucker him. I hope he does leave it and the whole rotten thing collapses.

Stocks are droppng faster than Bill Clinton's trousers on Epstein's island.

"On Monday, Russia is shutting down its main pipeline to Germany, Nord Stream 1, for 10 days of scheduled maintenance. Many in Berlin fear it will never reopen."

Look at how easily Putin is manipulating the world. The price of crude just dropped and this will help boost it. Meanwhile he's sending a message, a Sicilian message, to the European Union and NATO members. And Germany will no doubt respond exactly as Putin wishes.

This guy is doing donuts on the White House lawn.

The Real Collusion

Timothy Birdnow

The real Collusion story:

How the Media Used Russiagate Conspiracy Theories to Create a News Cartel

  • The Wall Street Journal reports that Facebook paid over $20 million to the New York Times and $15 million to the Washington Postin annual fees. Even more valuable than the big checks was Facebook's ability to push media content to its users. Last year, sources at several publishers were crediting Facebook News with massive traffic surges, but not everyone was equal.

  • "Many other U.S. news publishers are getting payments from Facebook to have their content featured in its news tab, but they only get a fraction of the sums paid to the Washington Post, the New York Times," the Wall Street Journal noted.

  • Facebook and the media had created a cartel in which media sites created paywalls to raise the value of their content and gain better deals with the social media monopoly. Zuckerberg's company offered its biggest media critics big checks in exchange for exclusive deals. Both sides claimed that they were "fighting misinformation" with what was really a shakedown and a cartel.

  • When the media accused Facebook of spreading conservative misinformation, the only defense was providing special privileges for the media. Despite the fundamental illegality of such cartels, Democrat politicians and the media openly pressured Facebook to promote "responsible" journalism, by which they meant their own political content, at the expense of "misinformation".

  • By then the entire debate about misinformation had boiled down to creating a two-tiered content system across Big Tech that would fund and push media content while suppressing rival material. This urgent need for a news cartel was described as the best way to meet the "threat to democracy" posed by the "wild west" of the internet. This cynical rhetoric carefully avoided any discussion about the benefits that would flow to the media from this arrangement.

  • Recent entries from the Washington Post, which was being paid $15 million, include, "Facebook Gives Gun Sellers 10 Strikes Before Ban" and "Facebook Fails Again to Detect Hate Speech in Ads": both of which went viral. The former taps into the new mania over gun control to manufacture yet another crisis involving Facebook. And crises reward the media cartel.

  • The two interlocking cartels, Big Tech and the media, became politically and then economically interdependent in a way that was both illegal and deeply dangerous to a free society. The lies, the conspiracy theories and the censorship are products of technopolitical collusion between two sets of corrupt companies that have devastated our politics, our culture and our country.

  • The two cartels set out to control our speech and our politics for their own power and profit. They did it by manufacturing a crisis and declaring that their abuses were the solution.

  • Both Big Media and Big Tech cartels need to be broken up before they break our society.

New World Order War on Food

Timothy Birdnow

Control peoples' food and you control them. The new "net zero" policies being systematically  imposed are designed to do just that.

Ask the Ukrainian Kulaks what they thought about the matter.

Stephen Andrew MP for Mirani,

THE WORLDWIDE ASSAULT ON TRADITIONAL FARMING AND AGRICULTURE HAS OFFICIALLY BEGUN!

I hope all Queensland farmers are taking note of what is going on in The Netherlands right now.
For days there has been a complete mainstream media blackout on the story, but finally news of the extraordinary revolt by Dutch farmers over the country’s new ‘Net Zero’ farming laws emerged yesterday.
The new regulations aims at slashing nitrogen oxide emissions 50 to 95 percent, depending on the province, by 2030.
To comply with the new limits, Dutch farmers will be forced to cull (kill) 30 per cent of their livestock.
An estimated 5,000 farms will be wiped out immediately, especially those near Holland’s ‘protected areas’, where the levels have been reduced a staggering 95 percent.
"The honest message … is that not all farmers can continue their business,” the Dutch Government said smugly when announcing the new laws.
This is beyond stupidity.
The idea that Dutch farmers are producing so much nitrogen, a gas that has NO EFFECT on global climate, that a third of the country’s farms must be shut down is absolutely insane.
So insane, in fact, that fifty thousand tractor-driving, furious Dutch farmers have brought the country to its knees over it.
It’s now impossible to cross the border with Germany because farmers, truckers and other allied workers have blocked all the highways with tractors, trucks, mounds of manure and hay bales.
Giant tractor chains, meanwhile, are blocking access to the country’s 20 food distribution centres, while fishermen, sympathetic to the protest, have blocked most of its ports.
The Dutch media are of course trying to paint the farmers as "far right-wing extremists” and "domestic terrorists”, but so far their words are falling on deaf ears.
The Dutch people are backing the farmers and their protest to the hilt!
The farmers say they have blocked highways, ports and supermarket distribution centres, to make the point that without farmers, no one eats.
They aren’t kidding either.
The Netherlands is the world’s second biggest agricultural exporter in the world and the largest meat exporter in Europe.
That means ALL of Europe will suffer. Food shortages alone will be crippling.
Any Australian who thinks this doesn’t affect them are in for a shock when similar measures are imposed here – and believe me, they will be!
Too many people have allowed their heads to be filled with green fairy tales when it comes to this "transition” to ‘net zero’.
Most have no idea of the enormous costs and pain involved.
At a bare minimum, it is going to mean less farms, less livestock and a lot less food!

The plan looks to be 100 bio-hubs to come to Queensland?

China Ramps Up EV

China is looking to become very, very rich off our obsession with these tiny battery-operated toy cars.

They are ramping up production to the tune of almost $11 billion dollars.

DALIAN, China/TOKYO -- China's top makers of electric vehicle battery materials will spend at least 71 billion yuan ($10.8 billion) to scale up output, in some cases tripling production capacity in products they have come to dominate.

Johnson, You're Fired!

Timothy Birdnow

Boris "the Spider" Johnson is out as Prime Minister of Britain.

Johnson, now former head of the Conservative Party,  was swept into power on the waves of Brexit, and that was about the only thing Johnson did that those who put him there wanted. He pretty much kept the E.U. policies in place even though Britain was formally out of that corrupt body.

I caught Nigel Farage  (big cheese with UKIP) on the radio discussing Johnson. He has been warning Johnson was, well a Johnson, for many years now and would prove as bad a quisling as could be found. He was right. Johnson could easily have been a Labour party member.

Johnson was facing a revolt from his own party over numerous scandals in his administration. A recent mass resignation forced his hand. A recent Yougov poll showed a public lack of confidence in Johnson of 3 to 1.

Here is an example of why nobody trusted Boris.

From the Daily Mail article:

This is what a £200,000 interior makeover looks like! Boris and Carrie Johnson are ridiculed for their taste as invoice reveals how they decked out Number 11 in 'granny chic' - with £15,000 sofas, £2,250 gold wallpaper and a £3,675 drinks trolley

* Boris and Carrie Johnson's Downing Street renovations cost over £200,000, invoice says
* The No11 flat makeover included a £7,000 rug and a £3,675 drinks trolley as well as a £500 kitchen table cloth
* Couple were quickly mocked for their taste online, with many social media users tweeting their dismay

So Boris and Natasha were living high-on-the-hog while currying favor with the beautiful people (Rush Limbaugh was right; politics is show business for the ugly - Johnson proves that.)

As of this writing Johnson plans to stay on until the Conservative Party can find a replacement (which may be his way of trying to not be removed.) There are voices callling for his immediate removal.

The Conservatives do not lose power here; there will be no elections to replace the government in this instance.

Johnson was particularly bad during the pandemic and he pretty much suffered poisoning from gaseous discharge as he had his lips glued to the WHO posterior. His draconian response to Covid was both feckless and tyrannical.

At any rate, congratulations to all my friends from the United Kingdom! You've kicked "CINO" (Conservative in Name Only) out. Now if you can just get rid of the rest of these spineless simpletons...

On the '90's sitcom The Drew Carey Show Mr. Wick is always firing "Johnson". Ever guy he fires on the show is named Johnson. I can happily state "Johnson, you're fired!"

James Caan Sleeps with the Fishes

Timothy Birdnow

Actor James Caan [sleeps with the fishes.[/link] He was 82.

Star of such iconic films as Brian's Song, Misery, Rollerball, Elf, and a host of others, Caan made his fame as Santino "Sonny" Corleone, the emotional and larger-than-life son of the ruthless crime boss Vito Corleone in the Godfather saga (although he was killed in the first movie.)

His death was announced on his Twitter feed. No cause was given at the time.

Looks like business in Hollywood will have to suffer.

The Real Rulers

Carlos Velazquez sends this our way:

"The administrative state is THE government. Elections? They provide just enough difference to lead people to believe they are in charge, but are they? Not according to the organization chart. This is the real problem with the US system today. This system cannot be found in the US Constitution. No one alive voted for it. It just gradually evolved – metastasized – over time. The last 30 months have demonstrated that it is a real cancer eating out the heart of the American experience, and not just here: every country in the world deals with some version of this problem."

Brought to You By...

Warner Todd Huston

Guess what Android Phones wants to do now? They want to put commercials on your lockscreen on your phone. So, instead of you being able to put a picture of your baby, your pet, or a nice vacation photo, your phone will always be playing advertisements to you. And they want to make it so you can't turn this "feature" off.

Tim adds:

They have despoiled EVERYTHING with commercials! Nothing is about anything but making money off you. Even when you pay for it.

I remember when cable television first came to town back around 1890; no commercials, since it was paid television. Then they started slipping them in between programs. Now it's as bad as broadcast t.v. which is at least free. And it's on every electronic device now.

I wonder how long before wristwatches start having adds pop up at the top of every hour, or worse. Maybe you can have a corporate sponsor for the birth of your child? Naming rights for new homes? It's getting like the Ferengue on Star Trek.

Name that Economic Program!

Timothy Birdnow

I want you all to read this very carefully and then tell me where it is from. Is this the Labor Party in Britain? The Democrats?

From the document:

  1. Unemployment causes poverty, employment creates prosperity.
  2. Capital does not create jobs, but rather jobs create capital.
  3. Unemployment benefits burden the economy, but job creation stimulates the economy.
  4. Working people cannot be satisfied with meager unemployment benefits. Working people demand the right to a job.

B. Methods of creating job

  1. We have the productive capacity for more jobs.
  2. We have markets for increased jobs.
  3. These markets are available only domestically.
  4. Creating jobs requires refocusing the  economy on the domestic market.
  5. Focusing on the domestic market requires an increase in agricultural production.
  6. The focus on domestic markets must lead to the social liberation of the German worker.
  7. What needs to be done.
  8. Only the state can accomplish these tasks.

C. Land reclamation

  1. The extent of necessary land reclamation work
  2. Benefits and costs of the work

D. Working housing

  1. The private home as dwelling
  2. The private home as a productive space
  3. Building settlements of individual homes

E. Finances

  1. Financing public job creation
  2. Financing production

II. General Economic Measures

F. Commercial and financial measures

  1. Foreign trade
  2. Foreign currency supplies
  3. Law against capital flight
  4. Currency reform

G. Bank and credit policy

  1. Bank supervision
  2. The money transfer system
  3. Reducing interest rates

H. Administrative and tax measures

  1. Price controls
  2. Avoiding excessive expenditures
  3. Increasing the burden on those with strong shoulders
  4. Eliminating corruption

I. Agriculture

  1. The current situation
  2. Wrong economic policies
  3. Correct economic policies
  4. What measures must be taken?
  5. Settling the East

J. [omitted]

K. Industry

  1. Approval requirements for new production facilities
  2. Nationalization and state supervision
  3. Easier financing

L. Craftsmen, commerce, and retail

  1. The current situation
  2. Department stores and consumer societies
  3. Cooperatives
  4. Publicly-owned concerns
  5. Public contracts

M. Social issues

  1. The right to employment
  2. Existing jobs must be reserved for people’s comrades
  3. Social insurance
  4. Care of the elderly
  5. Profit sharing
  6. Labor service
Now go to the link and read the details.

If you guessed it was the Democrats you would be wrong, but understandably so.

No, this was a pamphlet distributed by the National Socialist German Workers Party in 1932.

If it was proposed by the Democrats we would not bat an eye at it.

This shows the Democrats are the true fascists.

Do read the whole document; it goes into detail and almost all of it - from expanding the money supply to big public works programs to "affordable housing" to tax increases to wage and price controls and targeted subsidies - could come from the Democratic Party platform.

The Nazis were indeed socialists. Socialism is defined by Mirriam Webster as:

https://www.merriam-webster.com › dictionary › socialism
Definition of socialism. 1 :any of various economic and political theories advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods.

While Fascism/Naziism did not own the means of production outright, they sought to control almost every aspect of economic activity and regulate it. Much like the Democrats today.

As was once said, under Communism the state owns the cow, while under Fascism/socialism you own the cow but the milk belongs to the state. It's an apt analogy; you are nothing but a manager, a caretaker, in a Fascist economic system.

A Job Americans Just Won't Do

David Nabhan

Since no one was despised more, wonder how they got anyone to accept the job of medieval executioner? Their houses were painted red and their clothes red and yellow so people would know and avoid them. They had a separate place apart in the pub, even a special tankard since no one wanted to drink after them. And their pay? It wasn’t even handed to them, but thrown in the dirt before them. The only other more reviled occupation? Ye olde timeshare salesman

Michael Moore Threatens Hunger Strike

Selwyn Duke

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/opinion/michael-moore-s-july-4-message-cannot-in-good-conscience-continue-to-accept-full-citizenship-privileges/ar-AAZc9pX?ocid=msedgntp&cvid=c303d91c97604149b6882f2ffbebdbbd

"If you invite me to dinner that’s all I’m gonna talk about," said Moore. "Have me over to your party and it’s going to be, ‘Dobbs, Dobbs, and more Dobbs!’ And I won’t stop until Roe is reinstated and 51% of Congress is female."

LOL. If I invite you to dinner, Mikey, I should be committed to a mental institution. Speaking of which, I talked to a former agent of Moore's years ago, and he expressed that Moore is actually mentally deranged.

But if Moore really is that upset, I suggest he go on a hunger strike until Roe is reinstated. He possibly will have slimmed down to 210 by the time that happens.

Tim adds:

He could emigrate to Europe, but most European countries have restrictions on abortions. The U.S. was quite rare in having unrestricted abortion and that as a "constitutional right".

If Moore goes on a hunger strike it'll be decades before anyone has anything to worry about.
