With pressure mounting on FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe the Deep State denizan is now planning early retirement.

According to the Washington Post:

"Andrew McCabe, the FBI’s deputy director who has been the target of Republican critics for more than a year, plans to retire in a few months when he becomes fully eligible for pension benefits, according to people familiar with the matter."

"The pressure on McCabe has only intensified, though. He got an eight-hour grilling from the House Intelligence Committee on Tuesday, and returned to Congress on Thursday to face more than nine hours of questions from the House Judiciary and Oversight committees."

It wasn't supposed to happen this way; Trump was supposed to have gone into seclusion, in full defensive posture, and the Deep State was going to keep the pressure mounting on HIM. By now they expected the Republicans in Congress to be thinking about impeaching Trump and putting Mike Pence in office to avoid a bloodbath at the polls. At worst Trump would be so damaged going into the 2018 elections that Congress would flip and the Democrats would impeach him without a second thought.

McCabe coded the Hillary investigaion "HQ Special" meaning it was to be a whitewash. McCabe is alswo currently under investigation for violating the Hatch act, which makes it a crime to intervene in polital contests. There are photos of McCabe openly campaigning for hisi wife in an election. Also, McCabe's wife Jill took donations via Terry McCauliff from the Clintons in her Virginia Senate race, a clear violation of the law.

And it appears quite likely that the Andy refered to by Peter Strzok, the Mueller investigator who text messaged about the need for "insurance" to make sure Hillary won the election, was likely none other than Andrew McCabe. Circumstantial evidence strongly suggests McCabe was part of a cabal trying to use the power of law enforcement to influence the outcome of the election and destroy Trump with false documents and innuendo.

So now this stuff is starting to come out and McCabe is trying to make a dash. It looks bad.

Congressional investigators have a lot less leverage over a retired administrator than an actively serving one, and McCabe k nows the law.

The rats are fleeing a sinking ship.
