Biden's economic adviser Brian Deese tells Americans to suck it up over high gas prices as it's the price we have to pay for the New World Order.
The Daily Mail dishes:
US families should suffer high gas prices to protect 'the liberal world order', Biden's economic advisor Brian Deese says when asked what he would say to Americans who can't afford $4.85 a gallon
- 'What do you say to those families that say, 'listen, we can't afford to pay $4.85 a gallon for months, if not years?' the advisor was asked
- 'This is about the future of the Liberal World Order and we have to stand firm,' he replied
- 'You have a president and an administration that is going to do everything in its power to blunt those price increases and bring those prices down,' he added
- Republicans said Deese's comments prove the administration is out of touch
- Biden said on Thursday that drivers should be expected to pay 'premium' for gas prices for 'as long as it takes'
- The U.S. cut off all Russian gas after Vladimir Putin invaded Ukraine, and the European Union followed suit, driving up gas and energy prices the world over
- After breaching $5 a gallon for the first time ever, gas prices have fallen back to an average of $4.84 as of Friday

In short, he doesn't mean it. It's all about driving us out of gas powered vehicles and into his little toys - and then onto mass transit. That has been the holy grail of the enviro-left for fifty years.

H.G. Wells, no conservative by any means, wrote about this in a number of his stories. Cities would basically be giagantic buildings full of people and the countryside empty, farmed by machines. Eventually the rich wound up living on the roof of the city while the poor lived in it's bowels - giving rise to the Eloi and Morlocks.
But it all started with the division between city dweller and countryside.
Marx wanted no separate countryside too.
This is what they want.
I would add I had a friend who lived on Long Island and worked in NYC. It took him two hours to get to work, and another two hours to get home every day. He eventually realized he could live better back in St. Louis where everything is more affordable and the worst commute you will have will be 45 minutes.
