Four Fool's Fables

Timothy Birdnow

They're at it again.

Yes, the Gang Green is busily chirping about their great obsession - so called climate change, or the artist formerly known as global warming.

Here are a few of the articles I found at Sci Tech Daily on the subject.

First, seems your dog is wrecking the ecology and we must get rid of pets or we're all going to die.

The ridiculous article actually warns darkly that dogs present a "climate emergency"!

According to the article:

"New research from Curtin University highlights the significant but often overlooked environmental impact of pet dogs, revealing widespread negative effects on wildlife, ecosystems, and the climate.

Although the ecological damage caused by cats has been well documented, this study shows that dogs, currently the most common large carnivores on the planet, pose a substantial and complex environmental threat.

Lead researcher Associate Professor Bill Bateman, from Curtin’s School of Molecular and Life Sciences, explained that pet dogs, even when leashed, can disturb and directly harm wildlife, particularly shorebirds.

"As well as predatory behavior like chasing wildlife, dogs leave scents, urine, and feces, which can disrupt animal behavior long after the dogs have left,” Associate Professor Bateman said. "Studies have found that animals like deer, foxes, and bobcats in the US are less active or completely avoid areas where dogs are regularly walked, even in the absence of the dogs.”

He continues, "Dog waste also contributes to pollution in waterways and inhibits plant growth, while wash-off from chemical treatments used to clean and guard dogs from parasites can add toxic compounds to aquatic environments. In addition, the pet food industry, driven by a vast global dog population, has a substantial carbon, land, and water footprint.

Well duh! That's what animals do when faced with other predators, like wolves, in nature. It's no more damaging to the environment than a wolf pack coming through.

The point is to encourage people to stop having pets. All part of the Malthusian scheme as pets eat food that humans should be eating, the lunaey left believes. And keeping pets diverts attention from the Great Cause.

Next we have this little tidbit:

Earth’s Freshwater Is Suffocating: According to Scientists, It’s a Global Emergency

Notice how everything is an emergency to these people and how we're all going to die unless we implement draconian government regulations.

Funny; we were told that global warming is making the planet warmer; fish thrive in warm conditions by and large.

FTA:

"More farming, more wastewater, more dams, and a warmer climate—they all change how our freshwater ecosystems function,” says Junjie Wang. With more nutrients flowing into rivers, lakes and reservoirs, algae grow faster, but when they die and decompose, they use up huge amounts of oxygen. "We found that the main causes lay in these direct human activities. First, it turns out that nutrient input through, for example, over-fertilization, is a major driver of this acceleration. Secondly, the longer travel time of freshwater to the sea through the construction of dams and reservoirs has proven to be just as important,” says Jack Middelburg.

The only solution is drastic population reduction and the dismantling of industrial civilization. Or they are just full of crap.

My money is on the latter; this is all based on computer models and not actual observation.

BTW fish have survived through the Jurassic and Cretaceous and are in no way threatened by a very minor warming of 1*. These folks never look at the big picture, but rather compartmentalize to the point of idiocy.

A third article argues that pollution is hiding Global Warming and so scientists can't find it, even though they are just by golly SURE it's there!

(I mean they've  looked everywhere; under the couch cushions, behind the radiator, etc.)

FTA:

An international study led by the University of Eastern Finland and the Finnish Meteorological Institute has shown that the formation and characteristics of low-altitude clouds are highly sensitive to changes in atmospheric aerosol concentrations. This discovery has important implications for understanding how human-generated fine particles may have moderated climate warming caused by greenhouse gases. The findings were published in Nature Geoscience.

Hah! We have gone full circle here, going back to the "global cooling" scare of the '70's. The argument then was that aerosols would cool the planet and we would go into an ice age. When that didn't pan out they simply shifted gears and announced industrial emissions were raising carbon dioxide levels and we were all going to fry. It was going to be Jurassic 2.0 and the world would turn to desert and we would be beset by floods and tornadoes and raining frogs and plagues of locusts and the like. Of course it didn't happen that way then...

Finally we have this story about mangroves being found further north than previously recorded in Georgia. What of it? Mangroves do well in marshland - something civilization used to eliminate via dams and leveees. But now we are"restoring" our "wetlands" and are surpised to find these wetland inhabitants settling into the region.

Naturally it's blamed on "climate change" and not on changes to public land use policies.

Temperatures in Georgia have risen by 0.8°F, according to researcxhers. so how is this spurring on mangrove migration? Anybody?

The article states:

"Today, scientists follow in Muir’s footsteps by studying mangrove ecosystems up close in muddy, waterlogged environments. But unlike Muir, modern researchers also have access to satellite technology that offers a broad, detailed view of coastal habitats. Using both ground surveys and satellite data, scientists have recently discovered previously unrecorded mangrove stands along the U.S. East Coast, evidence that these tropical trees are expanding their range more rapidly than expected."

Soooo

What they are saying is satellites have discovered more mangrove stands than we knew were there and they automatically concluded that these are new stands, not marginal groves that had been there all along. Ri-ight.

This is what has been happening all along; we have new data that is showing us things we didn't know and we assume the things are all new when in fact most of them were there before. Like Greenland seeing melting, it has happened plenty of times in days of yore, but we focus laser-like on carbon dioxide as the culprit and claim this is entirely new and a potential catastrophe'.

Someone really should name this tendency of people to seek out the most hysterical, apocalyptic interpretation of events.

I see a full court press coming on "climate change" as the Trump Administration winds down the hysteria over a very modest warming trend over the last century. Global Climate Flatulence (my name for it) was far too handy a tool for social and politcal control as well as for gaming the system for money that they can't let it go. They are going to pile on the youths with everything being a extinction level event to frighten people into returning the Democrats to power and restoring the whole corrupt scheme. Mark my words.

Learning by Osmosis

Joe Biden must be a genius...

According to Scientists, Zoning Out Could Actually Help You Learn

When I was in high school I attended a Jesuit academy and one of my math teachers was a very old school Jusuit, robed in full cassock rather than the hipster black pants and shirts of the others. He was something of a freak of nature but we all loved him just the same. He kept his hair crwecut-short. He would draw a perfect circle on the blackboard by hanging his hand down and just flipping it. He made us write AMDG on the upper right corner of all assignments - Ad Mundi Dei Gloria, to the Greater Glory of God.Turn in a particularly bad assignment and he would publicly tear the AMDG off! But the guy always was humorous in a dry way.

At any rate he moved me to the front of the class after I blew a test (math was my least favorite subject) and one day he caught me "zoning out" and announced to everyone I had devised a new learning technique using osmosis. Everyone laughed, including me (he was never mean).

I wish I'd see him again to tell him about this; it's clear I was a pioneer in the field of education.

I am sure he's long gone now so I will never get to tell him, alas.

Seed Stealing; Is China Plotting an Attack on Our Food Supply?

Timothy Birdnow

Chinese nationals are digging up crop seeds from Iowa and otther agricultural farm fields and shipping them back to China. Why?

Could it be they are working on a biological agent that would decimate our crops? I wonder if they aren't plotting a bioweapon that will starve us, not kill us directly.

I have long suspected Covid was a bioweapon test. It wasn't intended to kill lots of us, but to provide proof of function and to help get rid of Trump. That latter worked; Trump would have won re-election had it not been for Covid.

There is no good reason to steal our seeds; it's not like they are saving any real money by planting them. They have to be doing it to analyze who is growing what and why, and then tailoring SOMETHING to our crops.

The Chicoms really do think that way. We need to be vigilant.

The Gates of Thy Enemies

Timothy Birdnow

What is Hegseth smoking? Is this coming from Trump?

Seeking Stability, Hegseth Bolsters U.S. Troop Presence and Reaffirms Panama’s Control Over Canal

In a diplomatic bid to ease mounting tensions between the United States and Panama, U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth publicly reaffirmed America’s recognition of Panama’s sovereignty over the Panama Canal, despite President Donald Trump’s repeated assertions that the U.S. would "reclaim” the strategic waterway.

"We certainly respect the sovereignty of the Panamanians,” Hegseth said before leaving Panama for Washington, aiming to defuse controversy stirred by Trump’s remarks and assure Panamanian leaders that no takeover was planned.

The controversy erupted after a discrepancy between the joint statement issued by the two governments following high-level meetings earlier in the week.

While Panama’s version explicitly reiterated its sovereignty over the canal, the U.S. version omitted such language, instead referencing a commitment to working within Panama’s constitutional framework—which already affirms national authority over the canal.

For many in Panama, the omission stoked fears of a reversal of the historic 1977 Torrijos–Carter Treaties, which led to the official transfer of the canal from U.S. to Panamanian control by the end of 1999.

Trump has sharply criticized that deal, repeatedly claiming the U.S. should never have relinquished the canal, and even told Congress in March that the United States was already "reclaiming” it.

Remember the fundamental negotiating principle of demanding the moon and settling for Nesark. It may be that Trump simply wanted the Chinese out of there and Panama to understand that we will take the canal away from them if they don't toe the line. Or Hegseth just went rogue.

It would be very hard to take the canal back at this point, and hard to keep it safe if we did take it. Better perhaps to keep the Panamanians in APPARENT control while we hold veto power. But that means kicking China out completely.

I remember when Carter made this horrible deal. The argument was "we stole the canal" which was total hogwash; we BUILT the canal, and our "gunboat diplomacy" only benefitted Panama, which rose in rebellion against their mother country Columbia. Our gunboats were there to defend Panama, not threaten them. Nobody stole anything. If anyone is owed an apology it is Columbia, who got shafted by losing their northern province.

In Genesis 22:17 it is promised to Israel:

"I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies."

Now we possessed one of the great gates, but now China holds the upper hand in the gate we built.

Gates are important (as are walls); the British controlled Gibralter, the entry to the Mediterranean. They also controlled the Falkland Islands, which stand at the entrance to Cape Horn and the straig of Magellan. The British also co-owned the Suez Canal, another critical gate. And guess what? They ruled the world for a century (with the French, the other co-owners of Suez, right behind them.) Britain also controlled the entrance to the Red Sea and to the Persian Gulf via the Protectorate of South Arabia. They used to understand the importance of gates.

We gave our gate away and now it is coming back to bite us.

Trump wants it back. He also wants Greenland, which would give us control of the far less useful Northwest Passage.

Speaking of gates, the Punic Wars, which were essentially world wars between Rome and Carthage, were fought over another gate - Sicily. The Romans occupied much of the island preperatory to moving into North Africa while Carthage built a colony on the south-west part of the island to secure their trade routes. Sicily sits right in the middle of the Mediterranean, being the obvious port for ships moving between the Levant and the western Mediterranean. Carthage, located in modern-day Tunisia, had to have a base there for it's defense. Rome didn't like that, and several wars were fought that ended with Carthage completely destroyed and salt sowed in the Earth to prevent it's resettlement.

That's how important gates are.

So I don't know what Hegseth is doing, but he's not been backed up by the guy whose responsibility it is to actually deal with foreign affairs - Marco Rubio. Is this coming from Trump? We need to find out now.

God Bless the Crude!

Energy for a strong America!

US Crude Oil Exports Hit Record High: EIA

From the Epoch Times:

"U.S. crude oil exports in 2024 surpassed the previous record set in 2023, exceeding an annual average of 4.1 million barrels per day (b/d),” the agency said in an April 10 report.

Despite the new record, crude oil export year-over-year growth slowed in 2024 to 1 percent, well below 2023’s 14 percent growth and 2022’s 21 percent.

Crude oil production in the lower 48 states, which excludes Alaska and offshore output, hit a record high in November. This added more supply to the market for exports.
Even though the number of active oil rigs fell in the states, a boost in production efficiency compensated for the decline. As a result, production in the lower 48 rose 3 percent in 2024.

In contrast, oil output in Alaska and offshore in the Gulf of America fell last year, with the EIA blaming the decline partly on production disruptions triggered by hurricane activity.

Do note that by the end of Biden's Presidency growth had slowed to a crawl. That's going to change as Trump has empowered the oil and gas industry by removing draconian regulations.

Energy is the lifeblood of any industrial civilization, and oil and natural gas are the cornerstone of energy across the globe. Make more and we prosper, make less and we decline. It really is that simple. Now the left has been pushing a reduction in energy production for decades, and that for a variety of reasons. Yes, there are the warmiacs who are in a panic over carbon dioxide, but more because of the desire to create "parity" between the First and Third worlds. The intelligentsia believes we have it too good in America, that we "gobbled up all the resources" and deserve to live like the poor nations. At the same time they think that by hamstringing the West the Third World will catch up - especially since they don't have the draconian regulations in their countries so industries will move to such places. But this fails to grasp the simple fact that it is primarily the West that is creating the things that make the post-industrial world operate; the Third World can build stuff, but not create new stuff.

That has always been the problem with industrializing in the Third World; they concentrate on industry but not on the economy as a whole. They get foreign companies to build factories, but the people are starving and can't afford to buy anything made there anyway.

Hapan was the first nation that successfully modernized without any help from the West. They did it by first modernizing their agricultural sector, and imposing a free market system on the country. Other nations - notably India and China - have done quite well at that but still took massive help from the West.

The point is all that hamstringing the West does is impoverish the Third World. It does nothing to raise them up.

They key to economic success is universal - empower the individual to succeed by offering proper rewards, and limiting the meddling of government in the economy. But human nature is fallen, and there is greed and special interests and stupidity that lead many to utilize the sword of government to force others to their will, and in the process this hurts economic growth and their fellow man. The Democrats have made an art form out of power lust and greed and the end result is what we see now.

The way out is to unleash free enterprise and provide the energy to do this. The Left has treated energy like the Pharoah treated water; it was his weapon to keep his empire together. The Left seeks to restrict energy usage for the same reason.

Water was and is the lifeblood of agriculture - energy is the lifeblood of industrial civilization. Control both and you own the People.

Unleash both and you empower them, and that is what is happening now. I expect an economic boom to come quite soon.

Oil makes us strong. Oil is life to us (literally; heat, air conditioning, lights, etc. rely on it). Oil makes us free.

God bless the crude!

Minority Report: UK Government Developing 'Murder Prediction' Program

Authored by Steve Watson via Modernity.news,

The UK government is in the process of developing a system to predict whether people will commit homicide in the future.

The idea is the literal plot line of Philip K. Dick’s dystopian story ‘Minority Report,’ where individuals are arrested before they are able to commit crimes thanks to a ‘precrime’ predictive policing system.

It’s the exact same thing, minus the mutant human precogs. In reality the program will be much more boring, using ‘algorithms’ to churn through data and spit out results.

Given that the data will presumably include spicy social media posts, which are now being punished with prison sentences in the UK, you can see where this is going.

The Guardian reports:

The UK government is developing a ‘murder prediction’ programme which it hopes can use personal data of those known to the authorities to identify the people most likely to become killers.

Researchers are alleged to be using algorithms to analyse the information of thousands of people, including victims of crime, as they try to identify those at greatest risk of committing serious violent offences.

The scheme was originally called the ‘homicide prediction project,’ but its name has been changed to ‘sharing data to improve risk assessment.’ The Ministry of Justice hopes the project will help boost public safety but campaigners have called it ‘chilling and dystopian.’

Another backdrop to all this is the fact that the government just enacted racially biased criminal codes to punish white men more harshly than women or minorities.

Will the Minority Report program reflect this? Or will it reflect reality…

JD Vance was right, the UK now operates within a full on dystopian apparatus:

fin

Britain is becoming a fascist state and nobody seems to worry about it.

Quit Whining and StartMopping

Timothy Birdnow

Trump's budget cuts has led to management cleaning toilets in national parks.

Gotta love it!

FTA:

"SFGate acquired an internal email that detailed information about the Resources Management and Science Division’s new responsibilities as employees like wildlife specialists, biologists, and hydrologists will need to pick up at least one cleaning shift each.

The employee who relayed the email said, "I’m not above cleaning a bathroom but personally am sick of our leadership not pushing back on anything and just towing the line.”

Another email said this is not a permanent arrangement, as Superintendent Stephanie Burkhart wants employees for this work for mid-April though early May; however, that is a minimum time frame.

Manual labor builds character (as Morgan Freeman, playing God Almighty, told Jim Carey in Bruce Almighty and went so far as to get Carey's character to mop the floors with Him). Too many government workers spend too much time schemeing and trying to avoid actual labor. This will do them much good. It certainly did me good; I always had jobs where I occasionally had to pitch in with cleaning or other "menial" labors - even when I was a grocery store manager. You can't ALWAYS have people for that.

For far too long government workers were "above" such things. Now they must get back in the trenches and learn what it's like to be a laborer. That's American. We must remember that there is dignity in ANY job well done. It is service to God Himself.

So quit whining and start mopping!

Yes, plenty of Democrats want to run cackula for a second humiliation.

I soooooo hope that is true!

People didn't like her then; why do they think we'll like her now? But Democrats always believe in the power of the press to twist American minds, as well as their own ability to steall votes. Sadly they are right much of the time.

But who in their right mind would think a retreaded Harris would fare any better in the next election? The woman is a joke.

Zuckertreason

Mark Zuckerberg, CEO and founder of Facebook (now Meta) is facing criminal prosecution over testimony by a former employee that Facebook offered classified information to the Chinese.

Sarah Wynn-Williams, META’s former director of global public policy, made the shocking claim in a testimony before Congress. She said Zuckerberg, desperate to gain a major foothold in China, offered the Chicoms proprietary technology that may not be exported.

I always thought Zuckerberg would sell his own mother to a Juarez pimp if it served his interests. I'm sure he found plenty of justifications for selling out his own country. Remember Dante's Inferno Mark; the lowest place in Hell is Cocytus, the place where traitors go, and the lowest of those is Antenora, reserved for traitors to kin and country.

At long last we are starting to see justice return to the land.

Letitia James Could FaceReal Estate Fraud Charges

Timothy Birdnow

There will be justice, in this world or the next.
As the Bible says, waht doth it profit a man (or woman) to gain the whole world but lose his soul?

If This is What it Looks Like NYAG Letitia james is in a World of Trouble

James is the scumbag, er, prosecutor who campaigned on "getting Trump" and went looking for a crime (much like Beria said in the Soviet Union "show me the man and I'll show you the crime") She created a fraud case out of thin air and naturally won in Trump hating Manhattan, to the tune of $455 million despite the fact Trump's creditors in now way thought themselves defrauded. The key was to horribly low-ball the value of Trump's property than claim it was HIS responsiblity to give these numbers to the bank, instead of that being THEIR due dilligence). James has also no doubt facilitated the charges against Trump that led to his multiple convictions in a New York court under William Bragg, who created a completely novel interpretation of the law, turning a misdomener that the Federal government dismissed into a felony at the state level. In short, she led the charge against an innocent man, framing him because she hated him and loved the Democratic Party more than her oath of office or the truth.

Well....

A former financial fraudster turned forensic investigator names Sam E. Antar, has unearthed some interesting documents showing Letitia gave power of attorney to her cousin Shamice Thompson-Hairston to do some real estate trading for her. Turns out James swore in an affadivit that a house she and Shamice bought together in Virginia would be her prime residence and not a commercial venture.

So either she's lying to New York about being a resident or she lied to get a loan about being a resident of Virginia.

Insurance is much lower on a primary residence than on a rental.

And, as James was not a resident of New York if she did indeed reside in Virginia, she was automatically out of office - and that when Trump was being prosecuted. In other words, her prosecution was illegal.

So she has to say she committed perjury and fraud. She prosecuted Trump for perjurty and fraud.

It's delicious. Hopefully she can and will be held accountable.

James could be charged with Federal wire fraud charges which can carry a penalty of $1 million fine and/or 30 years in prison.

Pam Bondi, are you reading this?

As ye sow so shall ye reap! Reap it and weep Letitia!

The Lie of Trump's Unpopularity

Timothy Birdnow

The pollsters who accurately predicted '20 and '24 say all the attacks on Trump are failing and that Trump's approval numbers remain strong. Naturally the media is going to political hack polls to "prove" Trump is wildly unpopular.

BTW Ronald Reagan never polled very well when he was President either. At this same time in his Presidency (during his first term) Reagan was at 55 approval - just a  little ahead of Trump. And by February of '87 Reagan dipped down into the forties. He was also down to 49% in '82, at the height of the recession.

Trump is certainly running on a par with Reagan. Not as well but on a par.

And of course polls are no longer about what the public thinks but about manipulating public opinion, and they have turned the name Trump into an invective, a curse word, something accompanied by spitting on the floor for many.

But the proof of the pudding is in the eating, and Trump's best days are ahead as the economy ramps up and people feel free and proud again.

Chuck Todd the Lying Clod

Timothy Birdnow

Chuck Todd, former NBC News Director, actually claimed there was no cover up in Biden's mental decline!

From the Daily Caller:

"You know how you read something and you’re like, that feels more accurate than anything I’ve heard? [What] Whipple says is: look, there was no Parkinson’s diagnosis that was covered up, right?” Todd said. "This is not — people want to [ask], ‘Is it a cover-up?’ And the answer was: it’s not necessarily a cover-up. What it was, was sort of benign ignorance. In that, everybody could claim, ‘Well, my interactions with him — he’s still the same guy,’ right?”

"And a combination of that and Trump’s behavior made them not see how damaging Biden might be to the public. Because they were comparing it — well, hey, yeah, we’ve got the forgetful guy, but Trump, right?” he continued. "There was always this ‘but Trump.’ And the way Whipple seems to characterize it is that it was discounted because of the Trump discount, right? Essentially, right?”

Todd also speculated that Biden’s decline might have been more apparent to his staff if he had faced off against former Republican South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley rather than Trump.

"If you’re 80 years old and you’re standing next to an 80-year-old, you think you look pretty good in the mirror,” he said. "You’re 80 years old and you’re standing next to a 50-year-old and you suddenly go, ‘Who’s the old guy standing next to the 50-year-old,’ right? And that, I think, contributed to the benign ignorance on this story.”

"Yes, everybody could see that Biden was slowing down, but it didn’t seem like a threat because the candidate on the other side was Donald Trump,” he continued. "And this is where a version of Trump Derangement Syndrome may have impacted the clear thinking of Biden’s behavior and potential performance.”

(Note from Tim: please do not read this next with any liquid in your mouth.)

Todd also asserted on "Piers Morgan Uncensored” Wednesday that legacy media outlets deliberately softened coverage of Biden’s decline to avoid appearing pro-Trump.

"The only thing I can chalk it up to is this, whatever you want to call it, this fear that some members of the media had sometimes — that they would be perceived as helping Trump if they somehow diminished Biden,” he said. "Right? That it was some sort of zero-sum game. And I think this has been the fundamental mistake that many members of the traditional press have done.

So reporting an objective truth isn't permissible because of "fear of looking like you're supporting Trump"? I think the media made their disapproval of Trump crystal clear over the last eight years, yet they felt it necessary to spike an obvious story. What does that tell us about the media? It makes it clear they chose sides. Todd is admitting the media is completely biased and that it's "news" is not news at all but propaganda.

Biden's decline was apparent to all of America when he debated Trump so there is no question at all that it was apparent to those who dealt with him on a regular basis. Todd is completely full of it. He is showing the utter contempt most media folk have for the average person here; he thinks we can swallow this whopper.

Also, if Biden's staff couldn't see the decline because they were comparing him to Donald Trump rather than Nikki Haley then what does that say about these folks? Trump is the same age but is hale and hearty and indefatigeable. There were plenty of warning signs with Biden - like his being knocked down by gusts of wind, or his crapping his pants while with the British royals, or his innumerable senior moments. If they couldn't see it they were dangerously stupid people who should never have had access to the President or to classified information.

Occam's razor applies here; the simplest answer is they knew full well but covered it up for political reasons. Toded knows this too; he's been around and he knows there are no coincidences in politics. He's gaslighting us even now.

No doubt this will be the narrative that will be quietly but persistantly advanced and in twenty, thirty years it will become the accepted wisdom, with kids thinking Biden was a good President, much like the Left did with Jimmy Carter.

Chuck Todd is a liar.

The Sinking Ship

Timothy Birdnow

Yes, the good ship America is grinding against an iceberg as we speak. All that ice for cocktails may be nice to the upper class but in the end they will have to don life jackets and most of them will freeze in the frigid waters (no, that's not a reference to Hillary Clinton).

From Just the Facts:

"The Treasury report, quietly released in January, shows that if the federal government reported its finances in the same manner that large corporations are required by law to report theirs, the primary measure of federal red ink wouldn’t be $36 trillion in national debt but $143 trillion in debts, liabilities, and unfunded obligations.

This staggering figure equals 85% of all the wealth Americans have accumulated since the nation’s founding. It also equates to an average burden of $1.1 million on every household in the nation.

Unlike other measures of federal finances that cover an arbitrary period, extend into the infinite future, or ignore government assets, the figure of $143 trillion applies strictly to Americans who are alive right now and accounts for the value of the government’s commercial assets. Thus, it quantifies the full federal financial burden on today’s Americans.

In other words they own us lock, stock, and barrel (which we will soon be using as trousers.) We have taxpayer slavery to pay for all this, even if the IRS claims taxes are "voluntary".

The Democrats love the word sustainable; this is as unsustainable as it gets. But then that was the plan all along, to bankrupt the Western World and the U.S. in particular to empower a truly global government in the form of the U.N.

Dirty Deeds Done Deep State

Timothy Birdnow

Joe Kent - Trump's nominee for director of the National Counterterrorism Center - told Congress in his confirmation hearings that National Intelligence is investigating the FBI for the dirty deeds done to President Trump and their election interference. And the January 6 self-guided Capitol tour.

Congress should have done this. The supposedly "free and independant" news media should have done this. But none chose to do it.

High time.

Election Insecurity

Timothy Birdnow

And they told us electronic ballots are secure and the election of 2020 was the most secure election in history...

"We have evidence of how these electronic voting systems have been vulnerable to hackers for a very long time and vulnerable to exploitation to manipulate the results of the votes being cast, which further drives forward your mandate to bring about paper ballots across the country so that voters can have faith in the integrity of our elections.”

Rising Polar Ice (Despite What the Media Claims)

Timothy Birdnow

This is important enough for me to post the entire article from Tony Heller at Real Climate Science:

Desperate State Of The Cryosphere

Over the last nine days, the surface of the Greenland ice sheet has gained 42 billion tons of new ice and snow. The increase in mass since September 1, 2024 is 530 billion tons, which 43 billion tons above the 1981-2010 average.

Arctic sea ice is about the same as it was when George Bush Jr. was president.

There is more sea ice around Antarctica now than there was when Jimmy Carter was president.

Experts say Antarctic sea ice is both decreasing and increasing, both due to global warming.

"While Arctic ice is melting at a record pace, a team of NASA-led researchers say they can explain why Antarctic sea ice has been edging in the opposite direction. That paradox has puzzled scientists for years and given climate-change deniers fodder to dispute global warming.”

SCOTUS Blows It

Timothy Birdnow

SCOTUS has unanimously upheld a lower court ruling that made the Trump Administration bring back an El Salvador gangbanger to the U.S.

FTA:

On Thursday the court ruled 9-0 that a lower court order telling the administration to bring Garcia back to the U.S. must stand.

"The order properly requires the Government to 'facilitate' Abrego Garcia's release from custody in El Salvador and to ensure that his case is handled as it would have been had he not been improperly sent to El Salvador," read the Supreme Court ruling.

U.S. District Judge Paula Xinis had previously rejected the evidence the administration had presented that Garcia was a member of the criminal gang and ordered him returned.

Xinis was an Obama appointee.

The fact is Garcia had previously faced deportation for gang activity, and had a lengthy criminal record. He is not the snow-white angel he's being portrayed as (good father, Maryland boy who has a job, etc.) Anybody can father a child, and anybody can hold a job.

That the entire Supreme Court, including the conservative justices, voteed for this is horribly disappointing. Garcia is not a citizen and thus has no right to be here and the Administrtion has every right to remove him.

The reality is this is a separation of powers issue and a lower court has no right to intervene in this instance.

I don't know what happened to Clarence Thomas here; he must be getting senile.

The sad fact is we cannot rely on the Court to EVER do the right thing. SCOTUS needs to be circumvented as surely as any other partisan judicial court. I suspect the conservatives on the Court went along with this because they have some big cases coming and don't want to be accused of bias. They handed a minor win to the Left.

But right is right and this guy should never have been here in the first place. American law isn't for aliens to milk the country.

Reining in Judges

Timothy Birdnow

The House is cracking down on rogue judges and their unlawful rulings.

No More Rogue Rulings: Housse Cracks Down on Anti-Trump Judges

The U.S. House of Representatives on Wednesday passed the "No Rogue Rulings Act,” a Republican-backed bill aimed at limiting the authority of federal district court judges to issue nationwide injunctions — a tool that has been frequently used to halt President Donald Trump’s policies.

The bill, introduced by Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA), passed largely along party lines. Just one Republican joined all 212 Democrats in opposing the measure.

— Rep. Darrell Issa (@repdarrellissa) April 9, 2025

If signed into law, the legislation would prohibit federal district judges from issuing nationwide injunctions, instead requiring that their rulings be limited to the specific plaintiffs involved in the case.

The move is intended to prevent individual judges from singlehandedly stopping the administration’s policies from taking effect across the entire country.

Issa pointed to a growing trend of lower court rulings that have interfered with the administration’s actions over the past two months. These include injunctions that have blocked Trump’s policies from proceeding while legal challenges move forward.

Somehow I suspect the Senate will be a tougher sell. Bet Mitch McConnell votes against it.
