Here is an article arguing what many of us have, that Covid was a political coup all along.
Exclusive — Dr. Andrew Huff: Coronavirus Timeline ‘Giant Scandal to Subvert’ Trump
Huff walked through some of the revelations, stating that "when you really boil this down, most of the biotechnology, or the advanced technology that was used to engineer SARS-CoV-2, was developed in the United States – primarily at the University of North Carolina with Dr. Ralph Baric – and illegally exported to the Chinese.”

More like the stupid leading the ignorant...
W Is for Woke: New Jersey Ditches Basic Literacy Test for Teachers
A B C D E I… that’s how the alphabet seems to go in too many American schools now, including and especially in Democrat-run New Jersey.
Teachers in New Jersey no longer have to pass a reading, writing, and arithmetic test to be certified, as of Jan. 1, thanks to Act 1669 (it would be more appropriate to call it the1619Act). Because American children aren’t already way behind where they need to be academically, it’s important for them to be taught by teachers as ignorant as themselves.
I know a couple of young teachers in the public school system who are well qualified, and one of them is truly excellent at her job (she also ditches the school’s curriculum and forms her own, though). But that teacher would agree that many teachers now are not qualified; indeed, some are barely literate. They are hired for their diversity score or their woke activism, not because they are well educated, hard working, intelligent, or otherwise qualified. Young teachers especially were largely educated in the very Marxist brainwashing morass that they now contribute to as teachers. They don’t know any better, and they cannot pass on what they don’t have.
New Jersey is especially in need of math and science teachers, accordingto an annual report from the state’s education department.
Just months earlier, Murphysigneda similar bill into law that created an alternative pathway for teachers to sidestep the testing requirement. A powerful teachers union, the New Jersey Education Association, was adriving forcebehind the bill, calling the testing requirement "an unnecessary barrier to entering the profession.” Teachers in the state are paid an average of $81,102 annually, accordingto the National Education Association.
New Jersey followed the example of New York, whichscrappedbasic literacy requirements for teachers in 2017 in the name of "diversity.”
Other states that have lowered requirements for teachers are Arizona and California. Wherever Democrats seize power, educational crisis is sure to follow.
Instead of learning about George Washington, Frederick Douglass, and Abraham Lincoln, students are learning about dozens of invented "genders.” They don’t know anything about the Civil War or WWII, but they do know stupid diversity slogans. They haven’t heard of the Berlin Wall, but they do want Trump’s wall on the U.S. border to come down. They can’t do algebra or pass chemistry, but they can use condoms and puberty blockers. They don’t read Dickens or Virgil or Austen or Longfellow, but they do readIbram X. Kendiand "This Book Is Gay.” They can’t sew on a button, but they can find racism in literally everything.
The Founding Fathers understood that a proper education, both in classical academia and in hands-on skills, was essential for the success of America. That is increasingly rare in this country. New Jersey is an illustration of exactly why this country is in crisis, and why major educational reform is needed if this society is not to collapse.

To "save the planet" the city of Ottawa has just [lik=https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2025-01-04/ottawa-outlaws-remote-car-starters-save-climate]outlawed remote starters for cars, this in a place where temperatures are well below zero in winter and you could well freeze to death before your car is warmed up enough.
Is it any wonder Justin Trudeau had to resign?
At any rate Canada voted for this sort of thing and shouldn't be surprised now that they are getting it.
FTA:
Ottawa is the Canadian capital, where average temperatures range from -9C (15F) in December, -14C (6F) in January and Febuary, to -7C (19F) in March. The new time limits on pre-heating your car will allow one minute of idle time per hour for unoccupied vehicles.
That means using the remote starter to melt off the ice and warm the car up before piling into it for the morning commute is now verboten. It’ll also mean you’ll have to get out there in the -14C weather with your ice-scraper because there’s no way a minute of idle time is enough to defrost or de-ice your windshield.
Why?
In their own words:
"we are lowering greenhouse gas emissions and improving Ottawa’s air quality”
The entire nation of Canada is responsible for about 1.6% of Co2 emissions. You could eliminate the entire energy footprint of every Canadian (like maybe, forcing every last one of them to freeze to death in the winter) and it wouldn’t even move the needle in terms of reducing global emissions.
Via FactsOnClimate
Meanwhile China is still building and powering up about two new coal fired power plants every week:
Via Center for Research on Energy and Clean Air (CREA)
One can’t help but wonder how much Ottawa’s city council thinks how much net CO2 emissions they will cut by forcing citizens to cold start their cars.
There’s another problem…

The DOJ wants to charge another 200 people with J6 before Biden leaves office in one final thumb in America's eye.
the article, in typical lying media fashion, makes this statement:
"About 180 Jan. 6 defendants have faced charges for carrying a dangerous weapon on Capitol grounds"
They carefully ignore the fact that almost none of these were firearms or bombs, but rather people with water bottles or improvised clubs (sticks) were accused of "carrying dangerous weapons". Yet most of these "dangerous weapons" were only there, and the police resisted, because the cops were in there busting heads with batons and tear gasing the crowd.
CNN, the Trump hating fantasy storytellers, even admitted firearms and bombs were not a big issue at the event.
They say:
"Feb 17, 2021 · Some of the weapons that were confiscated had been seen being used inside the US Capitol including a baseball bat, a fire extinguisher, a wooden club, a spear, crutches, a flagpole, bear spray"
So crutches and a flagpole and fire extinguisher are now "deadly weapons that justify charging people?
Come on.
The FBI first said no weapons were seized from the tourists, then they started calling everyday items weapons so as to be able to hand the J6 Star Chamber the tools it needed to call this an "insurrection". But it's does not comport with reality.
As none of this did - it was a setup from the very beginning.

A new report shows that hurricanes are decreasing in both number and intensity despite claimss they are ramping up.
FTA:
This is a major blow to the junk scientists pushing to ban fossil fuels.
For years, the radical left and willing RINOs assured the public that hurricanes and tornadoes are worse today than ever thanks to manmade global warming.
Here is a recent list of the top hurricanes by force that made landfall in Florida.
Notice that only three of the top 10 hurricanes made landfall in the last 30 years.
Here we investigated changes in the destructiveness of tropical cyclones worldwide using the power dissipation index and found that there is no clear trend in most basins, but a significant decrease in power dissipation index has been detected in the South Indian Ocean basin since 1994, which is almost entirely due to a decrease in both tropical cyclone frequency and duration in this basin.
The decrease in tropical cyclone frequency is influenced by increased atmospheric stability.
The decrease in tropical cyclone duration can be attributed to the changes in tropical cyclone locations.

Makes you wonder:
Variants emerged in temporal and geographic proximity to clinical trials or mass ‘vaccination’ campaigns.
Wang et alstipulated that, as global immunity from vaccination or prior infection becomes widespread, vaccine-resistant mutations are expected to become the dominant driver of SARS-CoV-2 evolution, enabling the virus to evade neutralizing antibodies and persist despite widespread immunity. Analyzing the evolutionary trajectories of vaccine-resistant mutations across more than 2.2 million SARS-CoV-2 genomes, they observed a strong correlation between the frequency of these mutations and vaccination rates in Europe and America:
A comprehensive research library that contains 63 peer-reviewed studies linking COVID-19 "vaccination” to the evolution of vaccine-resistant viral variants has just been published (Compiled by Dr. Steven Hatfill, MD, MMed, Erik Sass, et al).You can read ithere.

This Too Shall Pass
by Timothy Birdnow
A bitter frozen morn
gray skies burst open as if they were torn
bleeding white on what's below
burying us all in the ice and the snow
Entombed in a white cold silent crypt
frozen angel where a man had slipped
six feet long and three feet wide
faintest of trails to where he'd slide
An icy wind blows the crusty drifts
into mountains, canyons and slushy cliffs
they grow and grow
to bury us all in the thundersnow
The gravediggers wait in their glee and thier greed
as the sky's white corpuscles hemmhorage and bleed
The street in silence like the grave
for no soul seems to be adequately brave
as to leave the warmth of their dark empty cave
None seem to have the fight to brave this world buried in white
Crystal souls in darkness take flight
as they flee the frozen sprites that dance in the gloomy blight
There will be no shining rainbow
when the storm rains down the thundersnow
But one day no more snowfall cries
one day the bloom shall re-arise
the sun will shine, the ice will thaw
the slushy ground will start to draw
the drifts will die and lose their mass
And we will know this too shall pass

Mystery Virus in China Overwhelms Hospitals
Do notice that all over the U.S. mask mandates and social distancing rules are coming back. Why, it's almost as if someone PLANNED to retreat the old favorite that took out the first Trump presidency.
BTW the White House reposted a creepy video from a couple of years ago showing people in Covid face diapers and saying "the time to move forward is now". What does that ell us? Covid was very, very good to the Democrats.

So Livelsberger supposedly voted for Trump despite trying to blow up one of Trump's hotels. Odd.
And he railed against the leftist power base and said this act of terrorism was the only way to get America's attention. So someone please explain to me why, after getting what he wanted (a second Trump Presidency) why did he go through with this terrorist scheme? Why didn't he give the new Trump Administration a chance to try to fix things? Does that seem odd to anyone else?
If Livelsberger wanted a "spectacle" why not blow up somebody else's property, ideally a leftists? Why not take out, say, NBC? Why go after Trump?
Also, how did a Green Beret make such an amateurish explosive device and do this whole thing so poorly?
If that is the quality of our special forces we have bigger worries.
I smell a big fat commie rat (to quote George C. Scott in Dr. Strangelove); this came on the heels of the New Orleans terror attack by a Muslim extremist, almost as if it was intended to distract from that event. Also, I wonder about this; it will no doubt be used as fodder to push for more spying on Americans and probably be used to suppress Trump supporters.
Frankly this whole thing looks to me like an intelligent black op. I know I keep saying things are intelligence black ops - the assassination attempts on Trump, for instance. But we know the intelligence community tried very hard to take Trump out with non-lethal means and failed. This is the usual final option for these people. I suspect they are laying the groundwork for something quite sinister. If I'm wrong whose fault is it that I distrust them? They lied repeatedly about spying on Trump, about the "Russian collusion" story, about the Hunter Biden laptop story, about almost everything we've been told by them over the last eight years. They deserve our distrust.

If these favored Democrats you know the corporate media would be all over this.
'So egregious': Wisconsin officials launch investigation into nearly 200 uncounted ballots
But Democrats are pure as the wind-driven snow and there is no vote fraud in American elections. That's what they told us last election, wasn't it?
I would favor a vigorous investigation of this even if it DID favor Republicans; vote fraud of any kind is unacceptable and should be punished severely. It strikes at the core of our whole system of governance.
And if there are 200 of which they are aware, how many more votes have been "disappeared" of which we know nothing? This is probably the tip of a very large iceberg.

So the great state of Michigan is going to destroy 400 acres of pristine forest land to insall unsightly solar panels.
Kind of like "we have to suspend capitalism to save it" as Bush said.
How much carbon dioxide do these trees remove from the air? Plenty. The average deciduous forest captures 1,406 pounds of carbon dioxide capture per year. So Michigan is making 56,402 of carbon dioxide stay in the atmosphere to generate a smattering of electricity.
This might be a good deal if the solar plant was going to eliminate all emissions from one gas-fired power plant, but it won't come close.
It takes ten acres of solar panels to produce just one megawatt of electricity, and that only when the sun is shining. So this solar far will give Michigan only 40 megawatts of power - 32,000 households.
The average gas-fueled power station puts out around 700 megawatts per hour. You do the math.
"Renewables" are a sacrament in the Holy Green Church and nothing more.

Alan Dershowitz, speaking on Fox News, argues that Judge Juan Merchan is now sentencing Trump with the possibility of New York governor Hochum, er, Hochul issuing a pardon for the former and future President to stop Trump from appealing the decision and thus leaving his legacy tarnishes by saying he's a convicted felon (and hurting his business prospects too.)
Dershowitz, after calling it the worst sort of thing since Joe Stalin, explains:
"Now they’re trying to avoid him getting an appeal. One way of avoiding him getting an appeal was not sentencing him. Now they’re going to sentence him,” Dershowitz added. "There’s another possibility. The governor may pardon him. If the governor pardons him, then he still has the stigma of a conviction, and there’s a question about whether he can appeal if he’s been pardoned.”
I assume Trump is free to reject the pardon, but then the media will spin this to say "see, even Trump admits he's guilty".
Then there's more:
Which brings up another interesting point; if this ruling is allowed to stand then Alvin Bragg's extremely unuusual legal theory becomes a precedent, and can be applied again in other cases. Basic legal protections are now removed as any state or local prosecutor can twist federal misdemeanors into state felonies at their pleasure. This is a very important legal matter, going well beyond the Trump case.
In fact this needs to be shut down permanently.
The article continues:
And if Trump takes this deal it will probably be conditioned on the Trump DOJ leaving Merchan and Bragg alone. Merchan is trying as much to get his own neck out of the noose as he is to damage Trump. Jarrett is right; Trump shouldn't bite - except like a rabid dog and on old Merch's throat.
I want to know who Merchan has been discussing this with and when. Has he spoken with the Biden DOJ? This corrupt judge needs to be the one facing incarceration.

A quarter of a MILLION young white girls have been raped in the United Kingdom by Muslim men and the British government sticks it's head in the desert sands to avoid "Islamophobia".
From American Military News:
In a video shared by Don Keith, host of "The Real Beef With Don Keith,” a member of the Parliament of the United Kingdom said that reports show there "appear to have been upwards of 250,000 young white girls raped in this century, very largely by Muslim men.” The United Kingdom politician added that the girls referenced by the reports are "usually raped several times a day for years.”
"So, my lords, what is the government’s answer to the chief constable of Northumbria, who has just said that there is every likelihood that these grooming gangs are operating in every one of our major cities?” the politician asked.
The member of the Parliament of the United Kingdom who revealed the troubling statistics then challenged other lawmakers to consider what the British government is doing to "prosecute those in authority who turned a blind eye” to increased reports of rape in fear of being labeled "Islamophobic.” He also asked what the government is doing to help the victims of rape deal with mental trauma.

A recovering FBI agent dishes on how to reform the that corrupted institution in an essay at The Daily Caller.
Sadly his prescription is short (very short) on practical workable solutions; author Richard Stout calls for depoliticizing and actually asks for MORE investiagory power. I think he misses the point; the FBI was in fact a corrupt agaency and has always been to a large degree. Why does he think J. Edgar Hoover was in power so long? He was BLACKMAILING Presidents and Senators for years (while not wearing women's clothes that is).And he bent or broke the rules as he saw fit; when John Dillinger embarassed the FBI the order went out to not arrest him but assassinate him, simply be judge and jury to Dillinger because otherwise he'd make a fool of them again.
But the average field office worked to maintain a degree of integrity. And in fact they had a strict honor code in place.
I would add that there is no Constitutional provision for a national police force and when it was created there was a big fight about this very thing; policing was and should be a state matter alone.
At any rate you can't reform something once it becomes too corrupted; you have to simply disband it and start anew. Otherwise the same rats who ran things will remain in place. (It's why Trump's hopes to "drain the swamp" will likely fail as he is working with the same gators and water snakes to try to fix something that nobody wants fixed, nobody who has the power to fix it anyway.)
We do not have to actually dissolve the FBI, but we should limit it's mission and downsize it considerably. Maybe make it an organization that can only deal with, say, international drug cartels and perhaps FOREIGN terrorism only. Take away it's power to indict Americans on RICO charges. Do not let it be able to access FISA courts to spy on Americans. Make it like the U.S. Cavalry - once an important branch of the military deployed within the U.S. and now mainly helicopter soldiers overseas. Any way you slice it we have to redefine it's mission at this point.
Until we do that the FBI will continue to act as Praetorian Guard for the Ruling Class at the expense of Middle America.
