The Mizzou Pink Pussycats

Columbia Missouri, home to the Mizzou Tigers, is now an "LGBTQ Sanctuary" city by decree.
This in the very conservative rural mid-Missouri.
Of course the University of Missouri-Columbia is located there, the largest college in the state with a student population of 31,401 plus faculty.
So it has designated itself the Sodom of the Show Me State.
Since when do homosexuals require "sanctuary" cities? Does that mean a bunch of refugees from San Francisco will be moving there?
America has lost its marbles.
