Boys Under 15 Beat theBest Foreign women in Soccer

Timothy Birdnow

Is this any surprise?

Foreign Women’s National Soccer Team Gets Beaten By a Bunch Of Teenage Boys

A few years ago the United States Women's National Team lost to a bunch of boys under 15 years of age in a game in Dallas. Let's face it; boys are better than girls in sports.

Which is why it's the heighth of insanity to let "trans" women into women's sports. There is a reason why records are all falling in women's sports these days; men are winning them. These men were generally mediocre when playing in men's leagues.

I am mindful of "Scary Movie" where the gym coach is "Miss Mann" whose testicles fall out of "her" gym shorts and who talks about getting the competitive edge in sports. It's kind of like that. We used to laugh at such things.

Media Leaks Report

Timothy Birdnow

It appears CNN has gone full Al-Sahaf, leaking top secret information about the attack plans on Iran in advance.

CNN Leaks Top Secret Iran Strike Info; Hegseth says Pentagon, FBI are Investigating

After debunking claims by CNN ostensibly based on a leaked intelligence report from the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) that the bombing did little to nothing, White House Spokescritter Karoline Leavitt had this to say:

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt also addressed the matter during a press briefing, confirming that an intelligence assessment exists but strongly pushed back on CNN’s reporting.

"This alleged assessment is flat-out wrong and was classified as ‘top secret’ but was still leaked to CNN by an anonymous, low-level loser in the intelligence community,” Leavitt said.

"The leaking of this alleged assessment is a clear attempt to demean President Trump, and discredit the brave fighter pilots who conducted a perfectly executed mission to obliterate Iran’s nuclear program.”

Leavitt added, "Everyone knows what happens when you drop fourteen 30,000-pound bombs perfectly on their targets: total obliteration.”

This CNN story was written by the same "reporter” who wrote the very first FAKE NEWS story claiming the Hunter Biden laptop was disinformation.

How did that work out for you, @NatashaBertrand? pic.twitter.com/x2CVhlhB1b

— Karoline Leavitt (@PressSec) June 24, 2025

If what the DIA is saying were true Trump would drop more bombs. It's as simple as that. That he isn't doing so strongly suggests the intelligence community is in agreement that he has seriously degraded if not destroyed their capabilities. At best this "report" is an outlier.

This reminds me of Mohammed Saeed al-Sahhaf, Saddam Hussein's information minister who, speaking to reporters, said the Republican Guard had pushed the invading Americans out of their country even while the sound of gunfire could be heard just blocks away. We all laughed at his delusional statement but we've had similar delusional statements by the American media where Donald Trump is concerned. Sadly no one is laughing.

This shows the utter desperation of the mainstream American media to be relevant again. They aren't going to get there this way. When Ronald Reagan won re-election the media surrendered and, well, didn't take it easy on him but stopped all the "Hitler" and "will blow up the world" nonsense. They knew they were beaten. The current media can't seem to figure that out; they are so in love with what they think is their power behind the throne they can't imagine the public not being moved by anything they say. It's costing them.

Oh, by the way, you all remember the famous letter saying Hunter Biden's laptop was "Russian disinformation" don't you? It was signed by dozens of top national security people, who it turned out were being paid by the CIA to lie to the public. Anyone who trusts a leak like this is quite foolish in this era where the only existential danger is Trump in the minds of the D.C. elites.

Did Iran Move the Uranium?

Timothy Birdnow

Did Iran move four hundred pounds of enriched uranium before the airstrikes? There is evidence they did.

The London Telegraph dishes:

However, doubt has been cast on Mr Trump’s claims after senior US officials admitted they did not know the fate of Iran’s near-bomb-grade uranium stockpile.
Rafael Grossi, the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), said on Monday that extensive damage was expected to have occurred at the Fordow, but added that his agency was seeking access to "account for” Iran’s highly enriched uranium stockpiles.

Two Israeli officials with knowledge of the intelligence told The New York Times that Iran had transferred equipment and uranium outside Fordow in recent days.

There was also evidence to suggest Iran had moved its 400kg stockpile of 60 per cent enriched uranium, which had been stored inside Isfahan, to a secret location.

JD Vance, the US vice president, hinted that the material had been moved at the 11th hour on Sunday. "We’re going to work in the coming weeks to ensure that we do something with that fuel,” he told ABC News.

Mr Grossi said the fuel had last been seen by UN inspectors a week before Israel began its attacks on Iran on June 13.

According to satellite imagery, trucks, bulldozers and security convoys appeared to swarm the Fordow facility two days before the US strikes. Analysts at TS2 Space, a Polish defence firm, suggested it revealed a "frantic effort” to move centrifuges or shielding materials.

And as long as there is anything left of the nuclear program Iran will continue to work towards a bomb; more than ever the possession of one seems necessary to them. And the use.

If they have this much uranium at 60% they just need one centrifuge to enrich it all the way to 95%. It would only take about two weeks to finish the enrichment provided they have a working centrifuge.

There are other options; Iran could smuggle the uranium to, say, North Korea to have them finish the processing. Or Pakistan.

Granted, giving partially enriched uranium away is a dangerous game as larceny is a distinct possibility by the recipient but it is still an option.

While I suspect this is just a way for the media to try to blunt Trump's victory here, there may be some truth to it. It STILL buys us time at a minimum. And it may not be true at all. One would hope so.

J.B.Going for Third Term

Timothy Birdnow

The poster boy for term limits.

Democrat JB Pritzker Expected to Launch Re-Election Bid for Third Term as Illinois Governor

The greasy billionaire Pritzker want to yet again oil his way across the floor, oozing charm from every pour. But hasn't he done enough to wreck the wonderful state of Illinois, which should now be called the state of ill noise?

Rumor had it J.B. (the heir to the Hyattt hotel chain fortune) wanted to run for President. But he can see that with MAGA being so successful he won't stand a chance with his patented mix of upper class Lese Majesste' , Noblesse Oblige', and kleptocray mixed with the trappings of radical leftism. So another term running Illinois into the ground seems appropriate to him.

Sadly Cook County dominates the rest of the state in a most abusive marriage.

It's  pity; Illinois is a lovely state once you get to know it, at least southern Illinois. The prairie is dotted with lovely little German towns and then you get into the Ozarks in the south, and then to Little Egypt where the confluence of the Mighty Mississippi and Ohio rivers can be found. The wife and I used to go down there for the Shawnee Hills wine trail (back when it was just a couple of wineries) and fell in love with the place. I'd move there if it weren't for the Democratic control of the state and all the problems that lie therein.

Gangsters and radicals have run this state since Capone. In fact Mike Madigan was the Speaker of the House there for decades and he went to jail recently. Like most ex-governors of Illinois (both Democrat and Republican alike). The state is corrupt to the core.

Pritzker has enough money he is largely incorruptible (or should be anyway) which is why he has been able to go hog-wild there.

At any rate Pritzker is the man who would be king and he may just well succeed, at least in the Land of Lincoln.

JEB! Praises Trump

Timothy Birdnow

This makes me wonder if Trump didn't screw up by bombing Iran...

President Trump’s decision to neutralize Iran’s regime’s nuclear program is a watershed moment. It reasserts U.S. strength, restores deterrence, and sends an unmistakable message to rogue regimes: the era of impunity is over. My statement with @UANI:https://t.co/NaYjaH0UW0

Occluded Cortex v.Trump

Timothy Birdnow

Occluded Cortex had this to say:

The President’s disastrous decision to bomb Iran without authorization is a grave violation of the Constitution and Congressional War Powers.

He has impulsively risked launching a war that may ensnare us for generations.

It is absolutely and clearly grounds for impeachment.

— Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (@AOC) June 22, 2025

Mr. Trump responds:

"Stupid AOC, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, one of the ‘dumbest’ people in Congress, is now calling for my Impeachment, despite the fact that the Crooked and Corrupt Democrats have already done that twice before, The reason for her ‘rantings’ is all of the Victories that the U.S.A. has had under the Trump Administration. The Democrats aren’t used to WINNING, and she can’t stand the concept of our Country being successful again.”

"When we examine her Test Scores, we will find out that she is NOT qualified for office but, nevertheless, far more qualified than Crockett, who is a seriously Low IQ individual, or Ilhan Omar, who does nothing but complain about our Country, yet the Failed Country that she comes from doesn’t have a Government, is drenched in Crime and Poverty, and is rated one of the WORST in the World, if it’s even rated at all,”

"How dare ‘The Mouse’ tells us how to run the United States of America! We’re just now coming back from that Radical Left experiment with Sleepy Joe, Kamala, and ‘THE AUTOPEN,’ in charge. What a disaster it was!”

AOC should be forced to take the Cognitive Test that I just completed at Walter Reed Medical Center, as part of my Physical. As the Doctor in charge said, ‘President Trump ACED it,’ meaning, I got every answer right.

"Instead of her constant complaining, Alexandria should go back home to Queens, where I was also brought up, and straighten out her filthy, disgusting, crime ridden streets, in the District she ‘represents,’ and which she never goes to anymore. She better start worrying about her own Primary, before she thinks about beating our Great Palestinian Senator, Cryin’ Chuck Schumer, whose career is definitely on very thin ice!”

"She and her Democrat friends have just hit the Lowest Poll Numbers in Congressional History, so go ahead and try Impeaching me, again, MAKE MY DAY!"

Another impeachment will only make Trump stronger so bring it on, sez I!

Einstein said insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. AOC is like the little bird in the clock!

New York City Goes Mad

Timothy Birdnow

New York City has never been a place full of level headed people, but they have gone off the deep end.

24 Years after 911 NYC Dems Pick Muslim who Defends Terrorists and Hates Israel for Mayor

We used to be shocked that London had a Muzzie Mayor but this is the place that was targeted by Islamists and they STILL voted for a Muslim. Also, they hated DeBlasio for being incompetent and they now choose a guy to the LEFT of that idiot.

FTA:

The Democratic nomination doesn’t guarantee one the mayoralty. While there’s no practical challenge from the Republicans — who are running radio host and Guardian Angels founder Curtis Sliwa yet again — Cuomo can run again if he chooses to under his own party’s banner, and current Mayor Eric Adams is running as an independent.

However, the crushing nature of Cuomo’s underperformance cannot be overstated, and running in the fall risks only damaging his brand further, to the extent that it can still be damaged. As for Adams, a vote for him isn’t so much a vote for Eric Adams as it is a vote against Mamdani — easily the most poisonous politician the Democrats have put forward with a chance of winning major office — which is a strategy that didn’t work for the former governor and is unlikely to work for Adams.

While there’s a certain joy in watching the most loath-able politician of the COVID era give his "you won’t have Andy Cuomo to kick around anymore” speeches, this still leaves us with the fact that, 24 years after 9/11, one of America’s most Jewish big cities is about to elect a communist Muslim who hates Israel.

The Democratic Socialists of America-endorsed candidate not only wants to raise the minimum wage to $30-an-hour and create city-owned grocery stores, but he’s promised to arrest Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on an International Criminal Court warrant. Not only does the ICC have no jurisdiction in America, which is not a part of the bogus globalist institution, but that’s a neat trick if you want to divert law enforcement funds to a "Department of Community Safety” — Zohran’s version of "defund the police,” only given a different name.

Although he still uses that name, mind you:

Queer liberation means defund the police. https://t.co/cuuwBI9dsv

Iran Angry with IAEA Head

Timothy Birdnow

Iran blames the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) for stating that Iran has nuclear capabilities and threatened to "settle accounts with him"

FTA:

Ali Larijani, an advisor to Iranian "supreme leader” Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, threatened the head of the International Atomic Nuclear Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, this weekend, vowing to "settle accounts” with him following the end of the current conflict.

"Once the war is over, we will settle accounts with Grossi,” Larijani wrote in Farsi on his official Twitter account on Saturday.

Grossi, an Argentine career diplomat, has led the IAEA since December 2019 and oversaw inspections on Iran’s nuclear site in the past. The international organization has repeatedly warned throughout the year that the rogue Islamic regime had accelerated its enrichment of uranium and on July 12 declared Iran in breach of its nuclear non-proliferation obligations for the first time in nearly 20 years.

The recent public threats issued by Larijani against Grossi come after both Israel and the United States launched strikes against Iran’s nuclear sites and days after Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei accused Grossi of "betraying” the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and turning the IAEA into a "partner to the unjust war of aggression against Iran.”

"You betrayed the non-proliferation regime; You’ve made IAEA a partner to this unjust war of aggression; You turned IAEA into a tool of convenience for non-NPT members to deprive NPT members of their basic right under Article 4. Any clear conscience?” Baghaei wrote on social media on Thursday.

It is truly amazing to watch the Iranians; they are bigger liars than the Mafia.

Trump should send word to Iran that if this guy is touched the bombing will resume.

At any rate telling the truth about Iran's activities is, to them, grounds to pull out his beard and infest his crotch with leeches.

These are some crazy SOB's.

The Failure of "Free Trade"

Timothy Birdnow

Glenn Beck pens a piece about the failure of "free trade" and tthe success and promise of Trump's use of tariffs.

Trump’s tariffs take a flamethrower to the free trade lie

Beck rightly observes that what we call "free trade" is anything but, and the promises made by those who supported it have not come to fruition. All it has done is make the rich richer and Middle America poorer.

I would add that Pat Buchanan predicted this at the time and everyone laughed at him. They aren't laughing now; Buchanan was right.

FTA:

Instead, they wring their hands in confusion when working-class Americans turn to a leader like Donald Trump. "Why are they so angry?” they ask, while standing atop the wreckage of towns they helped dismantle.
About that wreckage

In Galesburg, Illinois, Maytag once employed 5,000 workers. The last refrigerator rolled off the line in 2004. The site is now rubble and weeds.

Youngstown, Ohio — once a titan of American steel — has lost 60% of its population since the 1970s. Gary, Indiana, once home to U.S. Steel’s largest mill, has over 10,000 abandoned buildings. In Flint, Michigan, over 80,000 GM jobs vanished. By 2016, over half of men ages 25 to 54 in Flint were unemployed. Buick City, once a symbol of industrial might, was demolished in 2002.

Detroit, once richer than Boston, is now 40% poorer. The U.S. auto parts industry lost 419,000 jobs in the decade after China joined the WTO.

Even NPR admitted that "the China Shock created what looked like miniature Great Depressions” in these areas.
From dream to despair

Between 2000 and 2014, America lost 5 million manufacturing jobs — the steepest decline in American history.

Meanwhile, in the same time period, corporate profits soared 600%. CEO pay has ballooned to 290 times that of the average worker. In 1965, it was 21 times. Since 1978, CEO compensation has grown by over 1,000%. Regular worker pay? Just 24%.

They told us the rising tide would lift all boats. Turns out, it mostly lifted yachts. And the rest of the boats? Capsized.

The old saying "fool me once shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me" never seemed to occur to the Ruling Class in America, which was continually suckered by other countries and taken advantage of by them. It is why Donald Trump ran for President in the first place. He saw just how stupid our policies were.

Adam Smith thought reciprocal tariffs were a good thing. So has every other "free trader" except for Milton Friedman, a brilliant guy but his views on the subject were just wrong and he's been so proven.

Friendman gave the Internationalists a powerful tool to argue for the anschluss of international economies. And it has all been carried on the backs of the American working and middle class.

As I have argued previously, a look at tariffs and economic condtions do not show any link between higher tariffs and economic stagnation EXCEPT Smoot Hawley which came at a time when all manner of economic disaster was in the wind. Correlation is not causality and the tariffs may not have helped but I do not believe they were the cause of the Great Depression as so many claim. Warren Harding raised tariffs during the Depression of 1921 (which was as bad as the Great Depression at the beginning) and the economy blossomed into the Roaring Twenties.

(BTW from May 1920 to July 1921, automobile production declined by 60% and total industrial production by 30% and yet this was reversed quickly even while Harding raised the tariffs.)

There are any number of other such examples. This doesn't prove tariffs are always good, but they aren't always bad either. In fact they are probably pretty neutral. We have no real evidence of any inflation caused by them except in specific markets (usuazlly offset by declining prices elsewhere in the economy.)

But this upends the whole globalist scheme of economic anschluss and world government. I have stated before that the European Union was born by the conscious effort to tie the French and German economies together so they wouldn't be able to go to war again. It started as a steel and coal entente and kept growing. The Internationalists wanted to create a world system where nations dared not make war on each-other and where the poor nations got a slice of the industrial pie. This was carried out almost entirel at the expense of American workers and small business owners.

And what of the "service economy" that was supposeed to replace industry? It never materialized, at least not in the numbers needed to provide good livings for the blue collar or lower management white collar Americans.

So Trump is restoring the natural order and the One World types are frantic; he's taking money out of THEIR pockets and wrecking a scheme that is decades, perhaps even a century, old.

We created our competitors, I might add; China didn't have a pot to urinate in until we forced all our companies to relocate there, and to buy almost everything from there. At the same time we imposed draconian schemes on our businesses, OSHA, EPA and other regulatory cords of strangulation killed our businesses. Minimum wage laws forced many companies to lay off employees, and an invasion of illegal aliens (at the behest of the Democratic Party) undercut wages and benefits. WE bound ourselves in chains and funded other countries to do "the work Americans just won't do" and then our elites are shocked that America elected a guy like Trump, who wants to just return us to the Bill Clinton days. Amazing.

Nobody Will Mourn

Timothy Birdnow

Cotton candy may be a nice treat when you are at the fair, but who wants it for a steady diet?

A Failed Worldly ‘Strategy’: Shallow Entertainment and Comprimise Isn’t Keeping Young People in Churches

Church is boring. It's primary redeeming feature is it's redeeming feature; it is about the ultimate destiny of our souls, the purpose of our lives, and how to live to be contented here and happy in eternity. It's about the permanent things, the deeper things. The mechanics of it are dull and there isn't really a good way around that. I've long said experiential churches are ultimately doomed to fail because they are based solely on emotion and not on the deeper aspects of faith. You can only work yourself up so much. Sadly, most churches do not even have that, instead they attempt to entertain with music and pop culture and contentless, inoffensive sermons that inspire nobody.

People don't suffer martyrdom for DEI or "all you need is love" drivel. They do so because they have seen a higher truth, have committed themselves to a cause greater than they.

Ask yourself if you would stand with your faith to your death; if no why not? If it's because your faith is one that is in friendship with the world then you are not alone; most people probably find it so. But young people in particular want real Faith, something to believe in that transcends space and time and culture and fashion. They want to be willing to die for their faith. Nobody is going to die for hippie guitar masses and fake smiles.

The Left has long sought to destroy Christianity and they have fooled many into believing the Church needs to be more "in tune with the world" when in fact that is the opposite. Why go to church and be bored when you can do something more fun, like go night-clubbing or drink beer at a sports bar? If you try to compete with the world with worldly things you will lose. The Left understood this which is why they labored to get liberals into positions of authority in the churches. Christianity that is not centered entirely on the Cross and on eternity will wither awway and they know it.

Then what? Being ruderless and in need of spiritual purpose the young will turn to political activism in a vain attempt to create paradise on Earth. They will committ themselves as only young people can to the cause of advancing socialism and world government - just as the Left has always wanted. It will become their new religion.

And in fact that has happened in many places. In Britain:

"England and Wales. In England and Wales, 390,127 people (almost 0.8%) stated their religion as Jedi on their 2001 census forms , surpassing Sikhism, Judaism, and Buddhism, and making it the fourth-largest reported religion in the country. In the 2001 census, 2.6% of the population of Brighton claimed to be Jedi.

Jedi is, of course, a made up religion from a movie. But these young folks have been told Christianity sucks, and their ministers have done nothing to disabuse them of that notion, so there you go. And less than half of Britain now calls itself Christian ( 46.2%). The Church of England, having eschewed most of the "judgy" things in the Bible and in their tradition, now offers cotton candy and liberalism and the result is the church is dying. People are more apt to pretend to be followers of a movie religion than actually believe in the Creator of all things and His son, the savior of the whole world. Pathetic.

Human beings need a purpose. Over the last quarter of a century we've taken a sense of purpose away from the young, giving them instead amusements and paranoid, safe spaces. The end result is ennui, which the young generation is chock-full of. They find everything boring because everything IS boring; life is boring. What makes life interesting are the Permanent Things. We've taken those and given them an artificial, sanitized, bland empty world. There is no meaning in a world without Christ.

It's why all the things we see now, the transgenderims, the rise in homosexuality, the lack of desire to participate in life (such as getting a driver's license or moving out on their own) have all arisen; these kids suffer from anomie and the amusements that were supposed to take the place of religion have paled. There is little to interest them. That's why they shoot up schools or committ other acts of violence; they are looking to FEEL something. They are numb.

And unless they find Christ they will be number. Fortunately we are seeing a major revival in Christianity among the young these days; they are looking to God for more than this.

But the world is powerful and tempting and many won't go there, and those that do may fall away in time. Christianity is not experiential; you have to work at it, and you have to sacrifice and suffer. It's part of the deal.

At any rate the feel-good Christianity that has dominated our churches appears to be dying. And nobody will mourn it.

The Clock Ticks Down

Timothy Birdnow

They've gone and done it. Iran's Parliament has voted to block the Strait of Hormuz and the flow of 25% of all the world's oil and gas.

The Bab-el-Mandeb, the well named "Gate of Grief" or the "Gate of Tears" is the strait at the southern tip of the Red Sea where huge amounts of international cargo passes regularly and the Houthis tried to close that with little luck; Donald J. Trump obliterated them. I suspect he will do it again here.

But this will be harder insofar as the Strait of Hormuz is narrower, and the Iranians aren't just a splinter faction but the rulers of the whole eastern side of the strait and of the Gulf of Arabia.

I am no expert on naval tactics or naval capabilities, not by a long shot. But from what I've read the Iranians don't have much of a navy; they've got a lot of speedboats. They DO have between 19 and 27 submarines at their command. With Irsael currently in control of the skies those subs may be the only tool Iran has to close the strait.

According to Wikipedia, Iran has 7 frigates · 5 corvettes · 20 fast attack craft · 6 patrol boats · 31 amphibious ships · 17 auxiliary ships. I doubt they could stop the American navy if it comes to that. I also doubt we even need the navy as we could just bomb those ships and be done with them.

In bygone days there have been proposals to build a canal to bi-pass the Strait of Hormuz, crossing the United Arab Emirates and Oman. This would be difficult; the UAE is mountainous and the canal would require many locks and dams and getting the water through the system would require a lot of pumping. It would be vulnerable. But if Iran closes the Strait it may become an attractive option, not now but for the future. Problem is it has been estimated that such a canal would cost &200 billion dollars and it seems doubtful it would recoup the money needed to build and operate and maintain it. Such a canal would be a last resort. (Dubai did the study on this.)

Another option is to build pipelines from Kuwait to the Gulf of Oman, just outside of the Gulf of Arabia (Persian Gulf). This would be easier, but it would sttill be vulnerable and a big investment. STill, Kuwait and Oman and others have been exploring this option for some time now and while it will not be ready for a strait closure it certainly is something that not only could be done but should have been done a long time ago. Iran has always been a threat to everyone's livelihood in the region, as well as their physical security.

Of course none of this helps us in the current situation. If Iran closes the strait one quarter of our oil and gas supply goes off the market. We will see HUGE price spikes. We will also see Russia becoming suddenly flush with cash as Russian oil and gas become hot commodities.

And this will fairly decimate the Chinese economy, which draws it's energy supply almost exclusively from the Gulf, particlarly from Iran.

A closure of the strait will destroy China's already precarious economy. They are not going to allow it.

Russia too, while profiting from such a closure, may not sit idly by either. They have a strategic partnership with Iran and seek to control the flow of oil and gas to Europe by controlling the territory any pipeline must pass through. That was the reason they invaded Georgia, which was far too chummy with the U.S. for their comfort and which was offering safe territory to run pipelines, such as the Baku-Tbilisi Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline or the South Caucasus Pipeline (SCP) and the North-South Main Gas Pipeline (NSMP), which carry natural gas. These pipelines were intended to circumvent both Russia and Iran.

With the loss of Syria as a Middle Eastern anchor ally Russia is down to Iran, and if they fear regime change will occur and a pro-American government comes to power they would see this as an existential threat. They could well move to support the regime there, and will do so if China backs them. At a minimum Russia could send aircraft and naval aid and Spetsnast (special forces) to help the Iranian regime.

In other words we could have world war three.

Or not. Iran's economy would be utterly destroyed by this and how long they could keep the closure up is anyone's guess. My guess is, not long. And all it wil do will be to encourage everyone to "drill, baby, drill" so the world isn't hostage to the Mullahs.

And while China may be willing to go to war over Iranian oil they may be just as willing to find other sources (like Russia, who would be the biggest winner here).

Here is another issue, unrelated to oil but that could be tied in with any war fought. Iran controls many of the tributaries that feed the Tigris river, one of Iraq's main watersheds. There has been considerable rancour already over this as Iran, which hates the Sunni Iraqis by and large, has tried to dam up these tributaries and starve Iraq of water. This problem has lessened since pro-Iranian Shiite Muslims have had control of Iraq, but that could change in a major conflict over the Strait of Hormuz. While Shia outnumber Sunnis in Iraq it has generally been the Sunis who have held power. If that balance should shift Iran may well decide to keep the water out of the Tigris. The Tigris river ends her journey to the sea in Kuwait, and should Iran want to strangle the Kuwaiti oil fields they could do worse than shutting off the water to the desert nation. Kuwait is, after all, pretty much wholly dependent on the U.S. and the West for it's existence and their sale of oil is key to their prosperity. But cut off the water and the whole nation withers.

If this turns into a protracted war Iran may well decide to dry up Kuwait, and Iraq with it.

Then too we must ask what China will do vis-a-vis Taiwan. Now would be a golden opportunity to seize it. We know if that were Putin he would hop like a bunny into that country.

At any rate Iran is playing a game of chicken with Donald J. Trump and they may well lose bigly. Or they could plunge the whole world into war. This is the most dangerous situation we've seen since the Cuban Missile Crisis and perhaps even more-so. Sadly the Trump-derangement Democrats (and some Republicans) are STILL playing political games over this. They are not statesmen - just the governmental equivalent of flamers on the internet.

Thank GOD Kamala Harris lost in this last election! We need an adult in charge, not a Valley Girl.

One more thing; the U.S. has never really hardened her electronic systems. I imagine the military has but the civilian systems have not been. Iran has the bomb (as I've explained and why in past posts) and she has the missiles that could loft it high enough. Watch out for an EMP attack. An EMP would take out the electric grid and everything not hardened; cars, trucks, jeeps, trains, farm equipment, etc. An EMP attack on the U.S. could ultimately destroy us. Congress did a study back in 2008 which concluded that within one year we would have a fatality rate of 90%! It would be Road Warrior time. Granted, we've no doubt taken some steps to ameliorate this, but still the American power grid has not been hardened and while that mortality rate may be much smaller it still could be very high - and we may not have food, or running water, or light or heat or a/c. Our sick and weak will wind up dead.

I wrote about this BEFORE the Congressional report came out and was roundly mocked by people with government ties. But then tbe report came out and I was vindicated.

An EMP - Electromagnetic Pulse - occurs when an atomic weapon emits a high burst of gamma radiation. This strips the electrons off the air molecules, sending them cascading in a fast wave, a giant electromagnetic pulse. (This is called in physics the Compton Effect.) Fission bombs are actually better at this than fusion bombs, but fusion bombs are much stronger so generally a thermonuclear weapon beats a Little Boy style bomb in terms of an EMP,but it's not necessary. Get a fission bomb high enough in the atmosphere, somewhere over Nebraska, say, and you can take out the entire American electrical grid as well as blow out any electronics that aren't protected. All cars these days, for instance, have electronics that will blow. Only vehicles built before 1978, or that had been hardened, will still function. Commerce grinds to a halt. Farming grinds to a halt, Transportation of food and other goods drive to a halt. Water pumps stop. In other words, we are thrown back to 1800 without knowing how to live like 1800 and without the tools they had. We're SCREWED.

Yes, the government no doubt has been preparing but I suspect most of their preparations have been to protect THEMSELVES and their families. The rest of us are probably largely on our own - and if not will be put in FEMA camps and under martial law as we slowly starve. It wouldn't be pretty.

So if Iran has a working nuke and can get it up above the U.S. they can do this to us. Shoot; they wouldn't even need a rocket - just a high altitude balloon would do, provided the nuke was small enough (which is what the Iranians were working towards anyway.) According to NASA a very large high altitude balloon can carry up to 8,000 pounds.

So that is one option for the Iranians, and you can bet they have already thought of it. A lower nuclear detonation would do less damage, but they could still take out the power grid, even if our cars and trucks and whatnot were still working; the grid is too intertwined. We have just three grids in America - the East grid, the Western, and Texas. Take out East or West and the country is still in great peril. It would take years to recover.

But of course just shutting down oil shipping would lead to a massive economic upheaval.

I would recommend all Aviary readers gas up while you can and stockpile some food and water. You may need it.

Cuomo the Speed Demon

Timothy Birdnow

Laws are sooooo for the little people!

Cuomo puts the pedal to the metal in new sports car— and racks up multiple speeding tickets in school zones

This perfectly illustrates the entitlement mentality of most Democrats.

Remember what happened to Marie Antoinette when she indulged in rich cakes?

Gavin Newsom sipped wine at Napa fundraiser while anti-ICE protesters plunged LA into chaos

How about Nero as Rome went up in flames while he sawed away on his fiddle?

Isn't this a crime? Interfering with Federal agents at a minimum.

Nashville Mayor Freddie O’Connell stands behind doxing ICE agents even after officials said his actions put them in danger

This jackass should remember a sword has two edges and can cut both ways.

State of Fear

Timothy Birdnow

Here is a wonderfully insightful essay by Tyler Durden from Zerohedge about the climate of fear that surrounds modern Americans and how political correctness has turned us into cowering weenies. It's long but worth your time.

Gabbing with Gabbard on Iranian Nukes

Timothy Birdnow

The media keeps reporting that Tulsi Gabbard said Iran wasn't close to having atomic weapons, but they conveniently fail to notice this particular comment.

Tulsi Gabbard | ‘Iranian enriched Uranium stockpile is unprecedented for nation without nuclear weapons.’

There is absolutely no reason to enrich to 60% all of the nuclear material they have. The staggering infrastructure that has been running night and day for years now isn't built on a whim - especially when you consider Iran is lousy with oil and natural gas and has no need of nuclear power. That anyone would be foolish enough to believe that is beyond me.

If they have "unprecedented" quantities of enriched uranium they are not years or even months away from a bomb.

Was Iranian Earthquake a Nuclear Test?

Timothy Birdnow

Is this why Trump launched the strike now?

5.1 earthquake rattles Iran — Geologists claim it was ‘natural’ despite rumors of Iranian underground nuclear test.

If so Trump or Hegseth should release the evidence but only AFTER the Democrats have thoroughly put their feet in their pie holes.

Right Turn Clyde!

Timothy Birdnow

Gen Z is going MAGA.

From the Axios article:

Amid rising loneliness, economic anxiety and frustrations with the left, a growing share of Gen Z-ers are turning right.
The big picture: The next generation of conservatives are in small towns and big cities, on college campuses and TikTok — and they're minting a new youth culture.

* "It's part of this shift among Gen Z post-Covid," says Rachel Janfaza, a youth political analyst."They got really tired of being told what they could or could not do and what they could or could not say."

fin

Abraham Lincoln famously said you can't fool all of the people all of the time". Gen Z has been lied to, repeatedly, since their birth and they are just now old enough to understand that they have been punked. The self-proclaimed "good guys" have done nothing but attack them and trash them and promised things not delivered. This is especially true of the men, whom the Left despises in ways beyond comprehension.

This is a very welcome development.
