Your tax dollars at work!
Taxpayer Money Literally Spent on Masturbation
From the article:
Tens of thousands of dollars of taxpayer money were given to a Seattle foundation that supports bondage programming and "jack-off clubs” where members can "share masturbation and mutual touch in an open, group setting.” Volunteers, calling themselves WA DOGE, revealed that Washington’s Arts Commission gave the funds to the Pan Eros Foundation, an organization that "celebrates and cultivates consent & sexuality through the arts & education for all.”
If you want Democrats to give you other people’s money, it pays to be LGBT friendly.
Tax forms reveal that the organization received $60,000 in "government grants.”
This is America’s culture if it loses the Culture War to progressives:
One of the ongoing programs listed on the organization’s calendar is Rain City Jacks "a traditional jack-off club.”
Hats off to WA DOGE:
WA DOGE volunteers, inspired by President Donald Trump and X CEO Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), have discovered over $1.5 billion in state government waste, as Washington faces a $12-16 billion budget deficit due to out-of-control spending.
We can’t all have a cool chainsaw like Elon Musk, but that doesn’t mean we can’t help to gut the bloated obscenity that is liberal government.
On a tip from seaoh.

Well, a fella's gotta eat after all!
‘Mind-Boggling:’ Connecticut Grants Conditional Release To Cannibal Who Killed Victim With An Axe, Ate Eyeball And Part Of Brain
Makes me think of the Al Pacino movie "And Justice for All" where Pacino asks for a recess when his client starts eating the evidence "it's obvious my client is very hungry".
It is just astounding they let this guy out. (Speaking of eye-outs it's almost lunch time....)

If that's the way he wants it fine! We can start by pulling all of our servicemen out and closing our military bases in the Deutch Republic.
Germany's Merz vows 'independence' from Trump's America ...
Merz accused America of "meddling" with their elections because Trump endorsed his more conservative rival.
So he wants to show us he's not going to knuckle under to Trump, is he? Well a man accepts the consequences.
That means Germany will have to build an armed force capable of defending the country without any help from the U.S. It means paying for everything on it's own. If they want to actually do that more power to them, but I have little doubt they don't want to do that.
What Merz wants is to shoot his mouth off and act tough at our expense. Rush Limbaugh used to seethe about that, about these countries that want our help and our dollars but then want to trash talk about us.
Put up or shut up Merz!
BTW No alliance in history has lasted as long in an unchanged fashion as has this NATO alliance. It is much the same now as when it was first established (albeit it's much bigger) and the proximal cause of it's existence died in the nineteen nineties as the Soviet Union collapsed. There was no reason for NATO to remain in existence and had it disbanded the Russians probably wouldn't have elected Putin in the first place. The idea that we have to maintain it in it's current form is unrealistic, to put it mildly. Time to revamp it, or perhaps even allow it to die. It's outlived it's usefulness.

Afrikaners Stand in Line for Trump’s Refugee Offer
This was inevitable after the white South Africans handed over power to the socialists in the ANC. I'm just surprised it took this long.
Strange; the Left was all worried about civil rights when it was the black community not getting them. Now that it involves whites they couldn't care less.
I would remind everyone that the white people settled in this land first; the "bantu" people (as they are known there) came later to take jobs created by the white Afrikaaners. So now the bantu want to push the whites out and take that which the whites built. They are not content to share - just take.
South Africa was once a wealthy first world country. It was so rich it was able to provide jobs to huge numbers of black people who came and settled and now want it all. South Africa had an atomic bomb. It had a vibrant tourist trade. It had a big wine industry. It is fast becoming a third world hellhole. Rhodesia, it's next door neighbor, was similarly rich and peaceful. Now as zimbabwe it's the poorest country in Africa and a place no sane person wants to live.
South Africa is next.
I'd get the hell out of there too if I were them.
The Afrikaaners have their own distinctive culture and it's a shame to watch it just die. Too bad we can't find some sparsely-inhabited land to settle them. Maybe they can settle in Guyana? I don't know but it's a pity that their heritage is done. They were an independent and hearty lot and losing it all to DEI is ignoble at best.

This guy is full of bull.
Zelensky says he would resign if it means peace or NATO membership
He'd resign but set it up so he could come right back. And he knows we can't give Ukraine NATO membership right now, so it's a pure bluff.
Zelensky claims he's not offended by Trump calling him a dictator "because I'm not a dictator". I'd like to know what his definition of a dictator is then. He has suspended elections indefinitely. He has suspended freedom of speech and of the press. Whyare there no imbedded journalists in the Ukrainian forces? He has kicked the Ukrainian and Russian Orthodox Church out of the country and sanctioned organizations with ties to the RO Church. He has expanded the state of emergency to include allowing unwarranted search and seizure and other such activities. He has banned the use of Russian in any official capacity in the country (even though it's one of the nation's primary languages.) He has arrested many political opponents. It is crystal clear Zelensky is completely in charge and the Verkhovna Rada, the Ukrainian Parliament, has as much power as did the Bundestag did under Hitler. The Verkhovna Rada had passed some 300 laws last year yet there was no debate on any of them - Zelensky proposed and they passed them without question. This mirrors the work of the Bundestag opoerated as well.
Not sure how much more of a dictator one must be to qualify for the position.
At any rate Zelensky has had it all his own way for so long he doesn't realize the worm has turned. He's like the light heavyweight who has decided he's so good he can challenge the heavyweight champ. He's playing in a whole other class now.
Zelensky is the problem these days. Until he is kicked out of power the war will drag on and on. Maybe it's time for another orange Revolution? Keep the CIA busy and out of domestic politics.
In Ukrainian the world leader is kerivneek. Hail is grad. So, Grad Kerivneek!

Yeet another sign the Apocalypse is nigh.
From the article in Economic Collapse Blog:
Scientists have warned that a massive volcano in Alaska has a 50-50 chance erupting in the near future.
And with volcanoes come earthquakes, and with earthquakes tsunamis. Fire too.I worry about such things; I live near the fault line that gave us the biggest earthquake in the continental U.S. in history. Another quake like we had in 1811 and St. Louis would be nothing but rubble, what with our old brick buildings and the like. My own home is 98 years old and I doubt we'd live through the quake.

Germany's Conservative Party aka Christian Democrats (CDU) have likely won in a huge electoral victory where voting was up by 83%, the highest since reunification. The AFD (Alternative for Germany) - the equivalent of MAGA here or of Britain's UKIP, did extremely well also, finishing second.
The CDU is a center-right party so not TOO much will change as a result. (Too bad AFD didn't win.)
CDU head Friedrich Merz is promising to rein in immigration, although Merz does not seem likely to be able to accomplish this goal easily. But Merz and the CDU have vowed not to work with or recognize the AFD and so will likely form a coalition government with tthe current Chancellor and ruling party - Olaf Scholz and the Social Democrats (meaning things won't likely change in Germany even while they had record turnout and the CDU did amazingly well.)
I fear Germany is a lost cause. For too many years a large part of her population was raised under communism, and they enjoyed peace and prosperity on the American dime for so long they can conceive of no other way.

MSNBC may be cancelling Joy Reid's show, according to the New York Times.
Apparently Reid's mix of anger, dishonesty, and stupidity was too much even for MSNBC viewers, and apparently her numbers dropped off (as did the whole network's.)
Now Messnbc is trying to make itself look like a betterdeal when they do their fire sale and turn it into a shopping network.

I caught much wailing and gnashing of teeth on the Sunday morning talk shows, most especially Meet the Press, over Musk's Texas Chainsaw Massacre of government (and Trump chided him for not doing enough fast enough - so Musk sent out an e-mail telling employees they had to lsit five things they did last week and if they didn't that would be considered a resignation.) Even Cal Thomas - a good conseervative - bemoamed the pace at which Musk and Trump are moving, and this on Fox News Sunday.
Should we be worried about this? I don't think so.
What people fail to remember is that study done last year showed 93% of people's wealth goes to the Federal bureaucracy.
That's based on a U.S. Treasury repot from February of 2024 in whcich it was found that the Federal government has amassed a whopping $142 TRILLION in debt, unfunded liabilities, and this amounts to 93% of all the wealth Americans have accumulated since the nation's founding! The the Federal Reserve estimates the total wealth of America from it's founding to be $152 trillion.
Socialism isn't coming - it's here. The government owns everything and are just oo polite to say so.
What Mr. Trump and Mr. Musk are doing is rebalancing this so Americans can actually own, say, 85% of their own wealth.
This is theft on an unimaginable scale - the world's biggest long con.
And so we must put aside any symptathy we have for government workers who, after all, are in league with the Devil. Feeling bad for them is like sympathizing with 22 year old Italian kids because they mafia was driven out of the neighborhood and now they are losing their jobs.
When you work the land for a feudal lord you are called a serf. That is precisely what Americans are these days. We don'town this country, the bureaucrats and deep staters do.

Color me crazy, but I recently wrote a rather lengthy essay on the disappearance of color in our modern society (based on an essay written by another) and, well, read it for yourself.
Pastorious at the site formerly known as Infidel Blogger's Alliance gives his opinion on color schemes in a rather colorful essay (including colorful language). He makes a good point; he thinks the horrible gray color cars had during the pandemic were intended as a tool of social control. Do read his article.
We are on the same page; both of us see the disappearance of color as a sign of the rising statism and a tool for psychological ccontrol.
Pastorious points out he tried getting the answers from Google and the results were, well, not surprising but instructive.

Na, na, na, naa, na, na, naaa, na, hey hey hey, goodbye!
Mass firing ‘imminent’ at NOAA.
NOAA has become primarily a political tool of the Gang Green to promote the climate Con that was intended to stampede the whole world into the Green New World Order. They have repeatedly fudged data, lied and dissembled to the American People to accomplish that end.
NOAA and it's salad tossing boyfriend NASA have both become hopelessly corrupted and need to be cleaned out and rebuilt from scratch. (I do not favor actually abolishing either - they both have useful purposes if they would just stick to the roles for which they were intended.) NOAA is fine for emergency weather alerts and the like. They suck when it comes to discussing climate and blaming our exhalation and car exhaust for a coming apocalypse they keep predicting. Both agencies have been caught fuding data to make it appear the planet is overheating.
Fire up the chainsaws Musk and Trump! We need to log that particular hippie woods!

Ri-ight...
Donald Trump’s decision to cut down the federal workforce could lead to an economic disaster in some parts of the country
The Federal workforce PRODUCES nothing; it takes and redistributes. You can no more cause an economic disaster by cutting government than you can get fat by reducing your daily caloric intake.
It MIGHT hurt communities where everyone works for the government - like Washington D.C. or Bethesda, Md. or whatnot. But that's a price worth paying to save the whole country. America does not owe a bunch of coddled bureaucrats a good living. They need to learn to work like the rest of us (and they weren't working - according to Joni Ernst only 6% show up at the office on a regular basis).
If the jobs aren't where these people live then they perhaps should go where the jobs are; most regular Americans do that. There is a reason why so many small towns have died as the economy shifted to overseas agricultural products; there were no jobs and the people had to leave to find them. Middle America suffered from this for decades and did so uncomplainingly (except perhaps singer John Mellencamp, who bitched about it bitterly, but then he was a hilljack, an Indiana hillbilly, your typical labor Democrat.) So now the beautiful people in the Deep State get to enjoy what they've foisted off on the rest of America. Not so much fun now, is it?
I really do sympathize with some of them; there are certainly good people who work for the Feds and it's going to be tough on them. But it had to be done and they shold have known it was coming at some point. They voted Demcrat repeatedly over the years, donated to them and grabbed too much. Now there is a correction and they can't live on less because they built their whole lives around the good living the U.S. government provided. In life you have to be prudent and prepare for the worse.
sorry, but moving these unproductive people off the government dole (and that's largely what "governement service" is) will boost the economy. Couple that with the openings of jobs done now by illegal aliens and we will see employment actually rise. These people will have to finally do an honest day's labor for their wages.
It was always understood that a big part of why India was so impoverished was that the educated class went into government as opposed to private sector work. India was top-heavy with bureaucrats, which under British rule was the route to a good life and it continued under home rule. So India has remained a poor third world nation despite many blessings. There was no reason why India couldn't have been another South Korea or China. It didn't because of it's emphasis on government over free markets. And that is where America has been heading.
People make things and provide actual serviced. Government merely confiscates and moves stuff around, skimming off the cream in the process. Losing these jobs might appear tough at first but everyone will be better off in the end.

Democrats and the media still haven't figured Trump out yet. They still take him literally and never do get the joke - which is invariably on them.
Case in point.
Yes, Trump keeps bringing up the idea he might seek a third term in office and it has the Left beside themselves. They really do believe he will simply suspend the Constitution to make it happen.
Trump is yanking their chains and laughing as he does so. He knows he can't run (unless a Constitutional Amendment is passed) and that he can only either do what Obama did - stay in Washington and run things from the sidelines - or he could try to run as Veep and then take over when whoever is President resigns. That is murky legal waters but I rather suspect SCOTUS could well accept the argument since the law is not specific about the matter and ambiguity usually negates the spirit of the law. Of course it's never been tried and many states would no-doubt leave a ticket with Trump on it off the ballots and they could make a strong legal case for doing so.
No, Trump is just punking them and they are falling for it. It gets them all worked up with no place to go, and they waste time on following a dummy trail.
it's always delightful to watch Trump play the media!

Pam Bondi has filed an ethics complaint against the federal judge who stopped the Administration from imposing a ban on transsexuals in the military.
U.S. District Judge Ana Reyes now faces investigation and possible punishment up to removal from the bench for disrespecting a Justice Department lawyer and failing to uphold the integrity and impartiality of the judiciary.
According to the article:
Reyes and a spokeswoman for the court did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
The complaint was signed by Attorney General Pam Bondi's chief of staff, Chad Mizelle, and lodged with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.
If a judge is found to have violated the code of conduct, they can face censure, reprimand or other discipline. Judicial misconduct complaints are typically reviewed first by an appellate court's chief judge then a council of judges."
These DEI appointments have never yet faced an environment where they are forced to follow the rules and judged by the quality of their work, and I am sure this judge is shocked and horrified that she was called out for something she always got away with in the past. So many of them think the rules only apply to conservative white males.
Playtime is now over for these faux jurists.
