One Out of Two Physicians Like Hydroxychloroquine

This from Roy Spencer

The Washington Times is saying Trump is a "snake oil salesman" for touting hydroxychloroquine, yet 52% of 886 surveyed doctors are using it as the primary medicine for hospitalized patients NOT in the ICU (twice as many as are using Remdesivir, 26%) to treat COVID-19. Only O2 therapy is used more (58%). Still no vaccine in sight for TDS. https://app.sermo.com/covid19-barometer/global.

Is that enough evidence, Cal Thomas?

From Tim:

Check this out:

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1232869/?fbclid=IwAR1PkT5v8b9hfYdZqRD7Ktd-D4fzgdtzXaUBH-GP_MZ3FzTuv2c13aih9R4

Conclusion:

Chloroquine is effective in preventing the spread of SARS CoV in cell culture. Favorable inhibition of virus spread was observed when the cells were either treated with chloroquine prior to or after SARS CoV infection. In addition, the indirect immunofluorescence assay described herein represents a simple and rapid method for screening SARS-CoV antiviral compounds.

A Lie Travels Around the World

Timothy Birdnow

Donald Trump said during a press conference that he is taking hydrochloroquine and CNN cut him off mid sentence. That angered a Facebook friend who posted a complaint about it.

One of HER friends came out smoking:

Stacy:

Because everything he says is a lie. I would suggest listening to the Dr.s when it comes to medication. If it worked like he says it does they would be using it. There have been clinical studies that show taking it does not in anyway prevent you from getting the virus. And clinical studies done that show it can do more harm then good. Why would anybody listen to Trump before scientists or researchers that have proven this? Mind boggling.

My friend Linda replied:

IF you where going to die would you take it?

Naturally Stacy shot back:

If a Dr. said it might help. But they have proven it doesn’t. That’s why they cut him off because it’s false information. Just like ingesting disinfectants. If I was dying I wouldn’t try that either. It’s also been proven to do more harm then good.

So it was time for me to intervene:

"Yet another study showWhat evidence do you have that "they" have "proved" it doesn't work, Stacy Rudloff Tinker? Provide your evidence.

In fact, there are studies that suggest it may be effective. https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2020.03.22.20040758v3

The jury is out on it. But it has hardly been "proven". Your antagonism to this is solely based on the fact you don't like the President.

There is evidence that Remdesivir may be effective. https://www.statnews.com/2020/04/29/gilead-says-critical-study-of-covid-19-drug-shows-patients-are-responding-to-treatment/

I submit this from JAMA https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jama/fullarticle/2766117#skip-to-content "Today CNN posted a headline entitleds hydroxychloroquine doesn't work against Covid-19".

On the contrary, neither study was robust enough to draw definitive conclusions as CNN proposes. It is unfortunate that the authors of neither study make this clear"

And while the tests on hydrochloroque has been unclear. IF you are in mortal peril there is no reason not to take it to save your life.

Also from the comment in Jama "May 12, 2020 Comparing the Incomparable. Olga Goodman, MD | Rheumatology, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics -"Patients receiving hydroxychloroquine with or without azithromycin were overall sicker on presentation." --The were significantly sicker given available information (table 1) and had multiple other risk factors: - Black or Hispanic patients were as likely to receive hydroxychloroquine and/or azithromycin (mortality is significantly higher in these groups) - Patients receiving hydroxychloroquine + azithromycin and hydroxychloroquine alone were more likely to be obese and have diabetes; - Patients receiving hydroxychloroquine alone had the highest levels of chronic lung disease (25.1%) and cardiovascular conditions (36.5%); But after receiving treatment much sicker patients had approximately the same mortality rates vs patients with a milder course of the disease and less risk factors. However, the authors conclude that "there are no significant benefits." Really? No benefits? "

It is not the media's job to choose which people are to be promoted. And it certainly isn't their job to censor the President of the United States.

Illinois Dems to Steal Entire State

Timothy Birdnow

Illinois may well be the most corrupt state in the union - and that's saying something when considering California and New York and Michigan are all in the running. But Illinois is one obscenely dirty place, and this story certainly butresses the states claim to infamy.

Illinois wants to make mail-in voting, well...

Lawmakers could pass legislation that requires county clerks to transition to all vote-by-mail. One northern Illinois lawmaker, Democratic state Sen. Julie Morrison of Lake Forest, plans to introduce a bill that would require the state to send a ballot to every registered voter.

This approach would ensure voter accessibility and safety, but it comes at a price.

Holbrook estimates his office will spend at least $1 million more on mail-in ballots this year. If the legislature requires his office to send ballots to all voters, "it’s going to cost even more,” he said.

Transitioning to all vote-by-mail could save money in the long run, Holbrook said, mainly by eliminating the cost of running polling places.

They want to ELIMINATE ALL VOTING in favor of mail in voting!!!  That would mean whoever the authorities want to win would simply receive enough mail in votes. It would result in eternal power for the Democrats. I doubt a single Republican will ever be elected in the state again.

This isn't just a tool for vote fraud. It's a tool to steal every single election in the state. It's unbelievable chutzpah.

If they pass this it must be appealed to Federal courts. While states have a right to maintain their own electoral schemes, they do not have a right to steal an entire state for one political party.

Another Backdoor Attack on Trump

Timothy Birdnow

One of the vilest things the Democrats and their media allies do is to destroy individuals for purely political ends. They've done it for decades, going to Richard Nixon's people and even before that.

They're at it again.

They are going after Mike Pompeo now by attacking his aid.

From the Belleville News Democrat:

The State Department inspector general, Steve Linick, was looking into the role of Toni Porter, Pompeo’s senior adviser, and whether she as a political appointee was conducting Pompeo’s personal business on government time, two sources said.

Porter did not register a complaint herself to the inspector general. Rather, the investigation into her role was triggered by multiple complaints on the IG hotline, one of the sources said.

And Trump fired IG Linick. See where this is going?

The fact is, this is based on anonymous sources, from the tips to to IG to the story itself as reported.

This is how they got EPA Secretary Scott Pruitt; Pruitt was an excellent EPA head and the left was furious with him. So they went after him on a dubious claim of corruption for spending money on private travel as part of his job duties. It was something everyone does in D.C. - remember how much Michelle Obama spent on travel and hotel stays - but it was to bring Pruitt down. This is no different.

The article continues;

Linick was investigating a wide range of matters, and it is not immediately clear whether he was reviewing the duties of additional aides who potentially carried out personal tasks for Pompeo. He was also probing the circumstances surrounding an $8 billion arms sale to Saudi Arabia last year, according to Democratic lawmakers.

In other words, he was on a fishing expedition. A Get Trump fish fest.

This is clearly the latest attempt to take Trump down via the back door. Watch for this to be the next article of impeachment.

Trump Cutting Red Tape for Recovery

Timothy Birdnow

Trump is cutting the red tape.

"Agencies should address this economic emergency by rescinding, modifying, waiving, or providing exemptions from regulations and other requirements that may inhibit economic recovery, consistent with applicable law and with protection of the public health and safety, with national and homeland security, and with budgetary priorities and operational feasibility. They should also give businesses, especially small businesses, the confidence they need to re-open by providing guidance on what the law requires; by recognizing the efforts of businesses to comply with often-complex regulations in complicated and swiftly changing circumstances; and by committing to fairness in administrative enforcement and adjudication.”

America's Spirit is Dying

Timothy Birdnow

E. Calvin Beisner asks:

Sometimes (not always) a sign of a culture that has lost its will to live on because it's lost its sense of meaning and purpose. Is that what's happening in America?

U.S. Birthrate Falls to Record Low

I reply:

I fear that is the case. Only immigrants are breeding these days; native born Americans have largely given up. I think we can assume that based on things like the declining life expectancy for white males, which indicates a problem in a core demographic.

Clearly there is a sense of loss of purpose and a lack of faith in the future.

How can there not be? The elites in America have been systematically talking down the country, and it starts in grammar school for most people and continues through their whole lives. When you are told your country is a shithole and you are a scumbag you can't expect a whole lot of breeding. America has lost faith in herself.

He replied:

The decline in white male life expectancy I expect will turn out to be short-term, rooted in the opioid epidemic. And here's actually a little sign of hidden hope in the fact that immigrants' birth rates are higher than natives': Many (not all, I confess) immigrants come here precisely because they want the freedom, the limited government, the opportunities to build businesses and profit from them, the religious liberty, the liberties of speech and press and assembly and petition, that are our precious heritage. People with those values we definitely want!

And I replied:

I don't know; I fear a great many people are immigrating here these days to take advantage of our social programs. I know a lot of immigrants and many ARE interested in our freedoms, but I know a lot of them are here to loot our country. And we have so very many - as many as one in five people in America these days speak a language other than English https://cis.org/One-Five-US-Residents-Speaks-Foreign-Language-Home-Record-618-million. We have sixty million immigrants. https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/us-immigration-population-hits-record-60-million-1-of-5-in-nation How do you transmit a culture that way?

The very fact we don't want to control the borders suggests to me a sense of guilt and failure.

I for one don't think we CAN enculturate so many. And I believe too many don't want to be Americans - at least not as we have always know America.

I also fear the decline in white males is more insidious than just opioids. Why isn't that effecting other demographics? Certainly black males have equal access to "hillbilly heroine".

I hope you're right, but I fear you are not. I think this declining birth rate is indicative of an overall decline in the spirit of America.

It's why I support Trump. Whatever else he may be, he at least is forward looking, seeking more. His suggestion we buy Greenland, for example, is illustrative of a worldview that is positive and growth-oriented. We've been managing decline in America since Ronald Reagan.

PBS Partners with Red China

Timothy Birdnow

PBS affiliates partnered with China-backed outlet to air pro-Beijing movie: report

From El Zoro News:

Federally funded PBS affiliates are airing a pro-China documentary produced in conjunction with an outlet controlled by the Chinese Communist government, according to a new report.

The Daily Callerreported Friday that PBS affiliates are airing "Voices from the Frontline: China’s War on Poverty” without disclosing CGTN’s ties to Beijing and that its producer has links to Chinese officials and the government.

According to the Caller, PBS SoCal helped producethe movie, which praises Chinese President Xi Jinping’s anti-poverty initiatives and premieredthis week. Other affiliates will air it in the coming days.

"In the last forty years, China’s economic development has lifted more than 700 people out of poverty,” the intro of the movie reportedly says.

"To President Xi Jinping, ending poverty is his most important task,” the script states.

It’s a report likely to fuel Republican calls for PBS to be defunded -- something that President Trump and many conservatives have backed over aperceived liberal bias.

Readers may remember my American Thinker article where I busted them for posting a pre-prepared statement as a transcript of Obama's state of the union speech - eliminating a gaffe. Contrary to what their defenders tried to argue (and they had to come back and add "as prepared") they listed it as a transcript. It was clearly a con job. A lot of people called for defunding PBS at the time but that movement went nowhere. I fear this won't go anywhere now.

But it should.

A Blast from the Past

Timothy Birdnow

Yesterday we had a nice little treat. I had just sat down to supper when I heard what sounded like a marching band!  Fearing I was experiencing symptoms of a brain tumor, I stuck my head outside for a look.

Sure enough, there was a small brass band marching up the street!

They were in no particular hurry, pausing often to play a tune then moving on. When they got in front of my house they stopped, because all of my neighbors were out on their porches and it was probably the biggest audience they had - at least on the block. We got a couple of songs out of them.

They were the Red and Black Brass Band,  and they have been serenading citizens in the city since the lockdown began.

Now, I'm not all that into marching bands, or neighborhood togetherness for that matter, but this put a smile on my face. The local kids were absolutely thrilled, running up and down the sidewalk. This made a much bigger impact than I would have thought; it made people feel like there is a world out there. It was reminiscent of a time when marching bands paraded down small town streets to celebrate Memorial Day, or the Fourth of July. It was, well, a throwback to an earlier era, one where community mattered, where people connected on a personal level and not by machine, where the hatreds of politics and class were less of an issue. It was a feeling of HOME, a home that has been away for some time.

This sense of community was the essence of Americana at one time. We all belonged to social groups and clubs; Boy Scouts, Elks Lodges, VFW Lodges, Masons, what have you. The sense of community used to be one of America's great strengths. Churches mattered. While there were always the occasional outcast most people felt a sense of belonging.

Our modern era has waged a war on that. There has been a conscious effort by some to dismantle the old sense of community because it was seen as inherently unfair to some who were not included (often by choice, but they chose not to belong because they hated the "good country people" involved with their flag waving and bonhomie.) Technology helped spur this along too; the automobile, the radio, television, computers all moved people out of their communities. We were assured this was good, but in reality people became increasingly isolated. Certainly nobody can dispute that depression and mental illness has risen asymptotically along with the decline in community. And the old institutions, the Lyons Clubs and Eastern Stars and Knights of Columbus etc. were systematically dismantled. Now they are all shells of their former selves.

I didn't know it at the time, but that was why I had a goofy grin on my face while the Red and Black were playing; this was an old fashioned thing, a return to that tradition of neighborhoods and patriotism and fellowship.

Thank you so very much Red and Black Brass!  We needed you at this moment in time and you stepped up!  You reminded us what it means to be American!

Out of Sight Out of (His) Mind

Timothy Birdnow

President Trump is apparently not unveiling a picture of former President Obama.

Small minded and petty, you say? Maybe, but considering Mr. Obama appears to have greenlighted the black op on General Flynn  and has likely been the general organizing the attempted coup on Mr. Trump's Administration (something that should send him to prison but won't) one has to admit Trump is at least NOT a hypocrite.

Washington has operated for far too long on pure hypocrisy, with people employing the nastiest, dirtiest tricks to destroy their political opponents (and Mr. Obama was king of clearing the electoral field by digging up dirt on his opponents). At least Trump isn't going to pretend Obama is a man to be honored when there is so much dirt under his fingernails. (this article ignores Obama's dirty trick of unsealing his opponent's divorce records to embarass Mr. Ryan.) At any rate, why should Trump unveil a portrait of Obama while an investigation is ongoing into Mr. Obama's complicity in the "Russian collusion" hoax and the subsequent "Ukrainian pressure" impeachment? Frankly, I wouldn't be surprised to find the painting with a nose and glasses drawn on it and a beanie on Mr. Obama's head.

The Democrats are howling at this. But let's face it; Obama is out of his mind to think that Trump is going to honor him in any way after leading the coup attempt against him. Frankly Mr. Obama belongs in prison for what he did, but he will never serve any jail time or be punished in any way because he is the first black president. If there is going to be any temporal punishment in this world (as opposed to what he faces after his death, which is going to be severe) it will have to be seemingly unrelated. The best way to punish such a narcissist as Obama is to forget about him.

Cold War with China

Timothy Birdnow

The U.S. Navy is deploying her submarine forces to Asia.

From the American Military News article:

The Navy recently has maintained a flotilla of warships in the Western Pacific as a show of force and proof that COVID-19 hasn’t significantly degraded its capabilities, with the United States and China long trading barbs over military activities in the South China Sea and increasingly so over each other’s pandemic response.

China has been accused of intensifying its occupation of man-made islands and bullying other nations in the region while much of the world has been focused on the pandemic.

Geopolitical intelligence platform Stratfor said that the U.S. and China have maintained a "robust operational pace in the South China Sea” amid heightening tensions and COVID-19 — signs that point to continued escalation after the virus wanes.

When the Navy advertises the presence of its usually unseen submarines, it’s often to make a point with an adversary. The Navy released a photo of the Los Angeles-class sub Alexandria transiting Apra Harbor in Guam on May 5.

As the U.S. military addresses COVID-19 at home, "we remain focused on our national security missions around the world,” Defense Secretary Mark Esper said the same day.

"Many countries have turned inward to recover from the pandemic, and in the meantime our strategic competitors are attempting to exploit this crisis to their benefit at the expense of others,” Esper said.

He accused the Chinese Communist Party of ramping up a "disinformation campaign” to shift blame for the virus and burnish its image. All the while, "we continue to see aggressive behavior by the PLA (People’s Liberation Army) in the South China Sea, from threatening a Philippine navy ship to sinking a Vietnamese fishing boat and intimidating other nations from engaging in offshore oil and gas development.”

Esper said two Navy ships conducted freedom of navigation operations in the South China Sea the week before "to send a clear message to Beijing that we continue to protect freedom of navigation and commerce for all nations large and small.”

The guided-missile cruiser USS Bunker Hill conducted a "FONOP” in the Spratly Islands, and the destroyer USS Barry sailed twice through the Taiwan Strait and through the Paracel Islands in disputed territory that China claims as its own.

"These provocative acts by the U.S. side … have seriously violated China’s sovereignty and security interests, deliberately increased regional security risks and could easily trigger an unexpected incident,” the South China Morning Post quoted a Chinese military command saying after the Barry’s Paracel passage.

The aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt has been sidelined in Guam since late March after experiencing an outbreak of the new coronavirus among its 4,800-member crew.

U.S. Pacific Fleet at Pearl Harbor has been quick to note the ongoing deployment of other assets in the region, including transits of the South China Sea by the littoral combat ship USS Gabrielle Giffords, the destroyer USS Rafael Peralta sailing in the East China Sea and the destroyer USS McCampbell passing through the Taiwan Strait on Wednesday.

I think we are now in a cold war with China, and this is going to only get worse as time passes. The Chinese are not going to let their dreams of power go without a fight.

Coronavirus and Unionization

Timothy Birdnow

No surprise the attempt to unionize the fast food workers would take a stab at it now. This is just another attempt to subvert the pay of low skilled workers to the service of the Democratic Party using the Wuhan Virus as a pretext.

St. Louis Restaurant Employees Protest Returning to Work Over Conditions

This also illustrates how generous unemployment benefits seduces people. These restaurant workers would rather sit at home drawing unemployment than go back to work.

So much of this has a political component.

Collateral Damage

In the research. Described towards the end of this 2 minute video, they calculated the maximum amount of lives estimated to be saved by the lock-downs in Scandinavian countries. Then calculated the minimum number of deaths cause by the lock-downs. It was clear to the researchers that the lock-downs are 7 times more deadly than just taking basic mitigation measures. Measures such as voluntary isolation of the elderly and vulnerable, good hand and cough hygiene, quarantine of the infected, and social distancing where practical.

Get Over It!

Timothy Birdnow

Our friend Jassy May directs our attention to an old Eessay written by the great C.S. Lewis.

Here is where Lewis encapsulated our modern arrogance "In other words, do not let us begin by exaggerating the novelty of our situation" That is exactly what we have done with this virus (and a host of other things.) People in the modern era live in an age so wealthy, so ordered and prosperous that they have to seek out hardships for themselves. Baby Boomers knew they weren't the men their fathers were, so invented horrors they could suffer through (like the Vietnam War, which was hardly WWII) and the Millenials now have COVID 19. In the end this is no worse than any other pandemic but the way we are responding to it bespeaks a very different mindset, one where the populace is conflating something into an apocalyptical disaster. That way they can claim they really did suffer like those who were so unfortunate in history. But it's largely a thing of the mind; it's a fantasy of experiencing titanic world events when all you are experiencing is a rather nasty flu bug.

As Lewis points out, we have things the people of old did not - like anesthesia or other medications. And what we face isn't any worse than what our ancestors faced; Viking raiders, the Black Death, Genghis Khan, Muslim enslavement, etc.

So, basically, his advice is GET OVER IT. I concur.

Russian Collusion in Perspective

This from Joe Bastardi:

Brennan: he didn't know if "collusion existed" between the Russians and those he identified as involved in the Trump campaign. James Clapper Said He ‘Never Saw Direct Empirical Evidence’ of Trump-Russia Collusion in FBI Interview I can go on and on. If what they said under oath is true, ( which is what Devon Nunes has been saying since 2017) then what conclusion can you draw?

Have you noticed as soon as one thing dies down, another pops up? Its like a playbook of constant harassment.

Did you notice the vitriol at a democrat, Michael Flynn, and Trump, a democrat till 2011. This is flat out scary. It is becoming obvious if you are objective ( admittedly I am not, but then again I have been like this from the get-go )

Obama wanted his policies continued, The way to do that has HRC in there, Once again, the undercurrent of antisemitism arises since Obama was trying to jam through an anti-Israel censure here: U.S. Allows U.N. to Censure Israel) which Flynn and Trump were going to take out. In addition, Flynn was going to go after the players in the Russian meddling situation, which would lead right to the Steele dossier, PAID FOR BY HRC/DNC for FISA warrants to spy on the Trump campaign. That dossier is the only PROVEN Russian disinformation and the tried and true Marxists idea of accusing your opponent of what you are actually doing is at play here, Think about it, For 2 years the Mueller investigation goes on when there was no evidence, just "strong suspicions" by people who had a vested interest in stopping Trump, Once that dies down, they shift to Ukraine, Trump gets accused, as a sitting president who most certainly like all other presidents, has to wheel and deal ( What was giving 150 billion to Iran for 10 years of not developing Nuclear weapons about) When we have Biden on tape BRAGGING ABOUT BEING A TOUGH GUY AND HOLDING BACK A BILLION DOLLARS TO THE UKRAINE UNTIL THEY FIRED THE GUY THAT WAS INVESTIGATING HOW HIS SON WAS MAKING 83K A MONTH WITH A UKRAINE ENERGY COMPANY, AND HAD NO EXPERIENCE IN IT,

How this does not outrage any card carrying true liberal is beyond me, Here is my message to that crowd, Eventually you are going to get your way, This country is heading for socialism there is no doubt in my mind, But don't sell your soul, Many of you are my age and turned democrat after Nixon did what he did, Journalist then did their jobs, ( Sharyl Atkinsson is the closest one I see to that now) They were always looking for the story behind the story, not simply piling on and see who can outdo one another with an accepted narrative, As much as I am not a socialist, I will tell you this, What this crew pulled IMO is despotic, At least socialism has a purported noble idea behind it ( arguable, since I believe socialist believe its the best way to elevate society as a whole) But you don't do that with people that are out to achieve aims that did what this appears to be ( again watch what these people have pushed in public vs their words UNDER OATH.

While Flynn may have lied to cover up what was not a crime ( put it this way, since John Kerry and Ted Kennedy went to our rivals, Kerry Iran, Kennedy Russia, and told them to just wait it out with Trump and Reagan) what was that compared to an incoming national security adviser that Obama did not want in there, talking to 1 of the 50 ambassadors he talked too, I am amazed at how this is not out there. We have journalists that won Pulitzer Prizes on Russian collusion, that under oath people say they had no evidence of. You cant make this up

A WORD FROM TIM:

It's like playing whack-a-mole; the Administration swings at the accusation which immediately disappears and another pops up. It's clearly a strategy, not a matter of journalism. And remember this went on (to a little lesser degree) during the Bush era. Remember the Valerie Plame affair; Scooter Libby rotted in jail for a long time when prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald KNEW he was guilty of nothing. These are some very bad people.

Newsome Says it's a Matter of Morality for Feds to Bail Out States

Governor Newsome had a moral and ethical obligation not to blow all California's money. He failed at that. Now he wants to steal money from taxpayers in other states. No thank you.

Governor Newsome says Congress has a 'Moral and Ethical' Obligation to Bail Out States

Given that Mr. Nuisance, er Newsome advocates not only bringing people into America without permission from the rest of us, and of feeding them and giving them succour, and that he advocates giving them jobs that belong to other Americans, and given he supports confiscatory taxation which steals from citizens, and he supports thuggist regulatory schemes, as well as every sexual perversion known to Man, I think he is a rather dubious character to give advice on morality.

Ace of Spades calls him Gov. Noose-em. Given his tyrannical shutdown of society and his criminalizing employment and living life I think that's as good a term as any.

Kennedy Calls Out Pelosi

Timothy Birdnow

More and more I find myself drawn to Senator John Kennedy, the Louisiana Republican spitfire. He calls 'em like he sees 'em.

According to Fox News Mr. Kennedy called out House Squeeker Nancy Pewlousy for her HERO Act:

Sen. John Kennedy, R-La., said on Sunday that he believes the $3 trillion Heroes Act that the Democrat-led Housepassed late last week has no chance of clearing the Senate – arguing that it is more of a Democrat wish list than it is legislation meant to ease the economic blow from the coronavirus pandemic.

"It's not going to pass the Senate, nor should it,” Kennedy said during an interview on "Sunday Morning Futures.” "My fellow Republicans in the Senate have tried to see things from the speaker's point of view, but we can't get our heads that far up our rear ends, and I think any fair-minded American would agree.”

I definitely agree!

Don't stop him now he's on a roll:

"Her bill would rewrite our immigration laws. Her bill would federalize elections,” he said. "It would allow federal prisoners to go free. It mentions dope more than it talks about jobs. I think it references cannabis like 68 times. It would expand ObamaCare.”

"And let me end as I began. It would cost $3 trillion. That's 3,000 billion dollars. We just spent $3 trillion. We need to see how that works.”

God bless him!

Kennedy was a Democrat who switched parties. He never made any headway outside of Louisiana politics until he did. Why? Because there is no room for a conservative Democrat in the modern Donkey Party.

Well, we've got room for the 70 year old.

Anyone who says Pelosi's head is where the sun doesn't shine is welcome, in my book!
