Stupid Itches

Timothy Birdnow

How Superficial Policies Destroy Character and Cohesion

I remember the Monty Python sketch "Dennis Moore" in which the dimwitted do-gooder keeps robbing the poor until they are totally impoverished and the poor - still living in their hovels - are fabulously wealthy, with tapestries on the walls and fine rugs and jewels. At the end they sing "he steals from the poor and gives to the rich - stupid bitch!" to which Moore says "this redistribution of wealth is trickier than I thought." He then robs a stage and makes the victims display their possessions, which he tries to hand over in a "fair" manner to each robbery victim. You learn as a child that life isn't fair and cannot be made so. But the Left is blown away by the brilliance of Monty Python or seven year old children.

Hat tip: Jim Church:

"Democrats believe we must embed environmental justice, economic justice, and climate justice at the heart of our policy and governing agenda,” the party platform states, using the coded jargon of the modern Left. In progressive circles, "justice” doesn’t mean fairness or evenhandedness; it describes a world in which every problem is the fault of some entrenched power group. Therefore, every solution should involve both special aid for the victims and some sort of punishment for those who created the problem.

The Democratic platform promises a root-and-branch overhaul of federal programs to ensure that they operate according to elaborate calculations of race, gender, sexual orientation, and other metrics. As the country struggles through the Covid recession, for example, the party promises that funds supporting small businesses will flow preferentially to companies owned by women and minorities and promises to "combat gentrification” and offer relief from "exorbitant” rents. (Under the "justice” paradigm, landlords are guilty until proven innocent.) A Biden Department of Education would bring back Obama-era rules forbidding "disparate disciplinary treatment” of students based on race. In practice, that means that students will be disciplined not based on the frequency of their misbehavior but according to racial quotas.

Even Biden’s $2 trillion climate plan seems designed more to spread wealth among favored groups than to reduce greenhouse-gas emissions.

You’d think anyone who believes that climate change is an existential threat would want to build green infrastructure as quickly and as cheaply as possible—the faster it’s deployed, the quicker emissions come down, right? But in announcing his plan, Biden said, "When I think about climate change, the word I think of is ‘jobs.’” His platform proposes obligating green contractors to hire union workers, which would drive up costs dramatically. "And we will do all this with an eye towards equity, access, benefits, and ownership opportunities for frontline communities,” the platform says. In other words, expect every green project to be bogged down in endless reviews to ensure that contractors and workers represent the prescribed racial and gender mix. The plan is a recipe for high costs, slow progress—and sweetheart deals. Who pays for this? Ordinary consumers—the chumps—who will see their energy, food, and other expenses skyrocket, all for surprisingly little environmental benefit.

The Covid Bail Con

Timothy Birdnow

So now the authorities in blue states are planning another shutdown to "fight the virus". They want quarantines, social distancing, mask mandates, and restrictions on group sizes - just in time for Thanksgiving and Christmas and New Years!

The purpose of all these things was never to "fight the virus" but to "flatten the curve" meaning buy time for the medical people. It was understood at first that any viral pandemic must run it's course. Until enough people have become sick or a vaccine artificially produces antibodies it will keep spreading. Shutting down the economy does little.

All of these measures being imposed are like trying to bail out a sinking boat with a bucket. The wizards of smart think if you draw a bucket and dump it overboard the section you just bailed will stay dry. They don't understand that the hole in the hull is still leaking.

Mann for Climate Czar!

Timothy Birdnow

Michael Mann to be Biden's climate czar?

Lest we all forget, Mann is the guy who fabricated the "hockey stick" graph, and when challenged refused a freedom of information act request to hand over his data. He is famous for "Mike's Nature Trick" (a phrase penned by the Hadley Center's Climate Research Unit director Phil Jones when discussing ways to game the data in cliamate science) in which he spliced proxy data together with actual data without saying he was doing that, because it gave him a nice, smooth upward curve (to "hide the decline").

Mann's "hockey stick" has largely been denunked. It erased the Medieval Warming Period to create a sudden, dramatic upward temperature curve in the 20th century.

Mann is the guy who keeps suing (and losing) anyone who suggests he is a fraud or a huckster.

Read some of the more memorable Climategate e-mails here,

Jim Church observes:

This is Biden's Climate Czar???? In 2011 Michael Mann seriously suggested that because humans were doing such a poor job of taking care of the earth's climate that aliens would have to come and destroy earth to "save the galaxy"!!!

Timothy Birdnow adds:

There were 423 ,mass shootings in the U.S. in 2020 according to Mass Shootings Database. https://www.mass-shootings.info/statistics.php#:~:text=2020%20Mass%20Shooting%20Statistics.%202019.%202020.%20Mass%20shootings,12%20%2810%25%29%20Latino%2019%20%2816%25%29%20Asian%200%20%280%25%29 The media was larggely silent on it. Why? Because it spoke to the law and order crowd, who would be more likely to vote for Trump. It was the same reason they stopped reporting violence at BLM "mostly peaceful protests".

Election Fraud Red Flags

James Doogue

A good list put together by a friend. I've seen verification of most items and would add the 'computer glitches' found with the Dominion voting system to the list:

A great list of the election fraud red flags which Trump is exposing against the demorats:

1) Trump was winning all the keys states by huge margins on election night. Even people here said 2020 was reminding them of exactly what they went though on 2016. And then, in the middle of the night, Biden surged ahead. That doesn’t happen in multiple states.

2) All the key states mysterious stopped counting at about 1:00 AM, and only the key states stopped counting. Why would a state do that? Red flag.

3) Georgia claimed they stopped counting, saying the Atlanta arena was flooding from a burst pipe and the vote counters had to be evacuated. That was false. The arena never filed any paperwork for a contractor to come and fix anything. The only confirmation that there was even a leak said it was a minor drip that was quickly mopped up, and was nowhere near the counting. Red flag.

4) Republican observers were sent home because ballot counting had stopped, and that’s when the new fake ballots showed up. The delivery vehicles full of ballots were caught on video. Ballots aren’t normally driven across a state to be counted somewhere else.

5) How did Biden’s lead massively increase while ballot counting was stopped? If you’re not counting ballots, the number shouldn’t be changing. Yet it did, by hundreds of thousands, but only for one candidate. That one would cause any international election observer to throw a red flag.

6) Republican election observers weren’t present when the new ballots were arriving in the middle of the night, because they’d been sent home.

7) Republican election observers weren’t allowed to observe in many of the states. Trump is correct, as backed up by their affidavits. Many were barred, many were ejected, some by "security”. In Philly they weren’t allowed to observe, even with a court order. The sheriff blocked them. That went on for days. Huge red flag, and another that UN observers take as evidence of election fraud.

8) Long delays in counting the votes in key states. Under international standards, long delays in vote counting are taken as suspicious, and usually indicate election rigging. Counting just isn’t at all hard compared to making up fake ballots that can survive cursory scrutiny. A long delay likely means they’re making sure they have enough "recount survivable” fraudulent ballots, or enough to cover for a rigged vote tally that was made up on election night.

11) Mail-in-ballots arriving in Pennsylvania before they were even shipped out. That can’t happen in this universe, and is definite sign of fraud.

12) Large numbers of dead people, who were born over a hundred years ago, being recorded as having voted.

13) Large number of women reporting that someone voted under their maiden name.

14) Large numbers of people showing up on election day and being told they’d all ready voted.

15) Republicans checking to make sure their ballot was recorded and finding out that it wasn’t, and then having to harass election officials for days to get it recorded.

16) The use of different voting standards in Democrat counties compared to Republican counties. One of Trump’s lawsuits is based on that.

17) New ballots showing up days after the election. The number of ballots still to be counted kept increasing, for days in some counties. Nothing like this remotely happened in normal states.

18) Late changes to election laws (in many states) and last-minute changes to election procedures and standards. Changing the system virtually during the act is a sign of election rigging by people in power. Trump has already had some rulings in his favor on that issue, as state election officials only have the power to enforce election laws, not to modify them on the fly.

19) Turning off or turning down voter signature verification so fraudulent ballots aren’t caught. This occurred in most or all of the key states. One reporter in Arizona voted nine times under different names, and all but one of the votes passed their signature checks. Pennsylvania’s mail-in-ballot rejection rate plummeted from 0.95% to 0.03%. It should’ve gone up because of the vast influx of first-time mail-in-voters, who often have a 3% rejection rate in that state. Since only election officials (the people running the election) can do that, it is a sign of election rigging.

20) Observations of people outside election areas making fake ballots. Some of this is on video, with "activists” signing multiple ballots just outside the election locations, with boxes of ballots in their vehicles, and with attempts to keep people from photographing them.

21) That the media was making very unsupportable calls on election night, all favoring one candidate over the other. In other countries, this is taken as evidence of a thumb on the scales.

22) The press suppression all allegations of voter fraud. Again, that happens in banana Republicans and is often evidence of voter fraud. Note that the same media organizations doing this are the ones who spent four years hyping every last hint that the Russian’s may have flipped even one vote, or that big data may have been used, or that dozens of people trolling Facebook counts as election rigging.

If Joe Had a Hammer...

Timothy Birdnow

In an act of pure chutzpah Joe "I'm Just a Fraud Machine" Biden has chosen the boss hog of Smartmatics - the makers of the software for Dominion Voting, which is at the center of much of the vote theft in this election - to serve on his transition team.

According to The Nation:

Trump's attorneys said the Smartmatic software used in the Dominion voting machines - which 'flipped' 6,000 votes cast for President Donald Trump to rival Joe Biden in one Michigan county alone - had 'back doors' allowing corrupt officials to rig elections.

US President Donald Trump's legal team has named a retired US Navy admiral as the link between Joe Biden and the software for controversial e-voting machines.

Trump’s attorneys Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell alleged Smartmatic - whose chairman of the board, retired Admiral Peter Neffenger, is part of Joe Biden’s transition team - was at the heart of the vote-rigging in the November 3 election.

Smartmatic's holding company is chaired by an associate of influential Hungarian-born billionaire George Soros. Neffenger is also a member of a think-tank that recently received funding from the Ukrainian firm that employed Biden's son.

The plot thickens.

In other transition team news. "Captain Peachfuzz" Biden has named three MSNBC contributors to his merry band of Mr. Magoos.

From Democracy Now:

Three paid MSNBC
contributors have left the cable news network to join President-elect Joe Biden’s transition team. Legal analyst Barbara McQuade has joined Biden’s legal review team. Health expert Ezekiel Emanuel has joined Biden’s coronavirus task force — he’s the brother of former White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel. And political analyst Richard Stengel will be on Biden’s U.S. Agency for Global Media. In 2018, Stengel told the Council on Foreign Relations about his work as the top communications specialist at the U.S. State Department.

Shouldn't it disturb us that these creepy people move back and forth between government and media? This started quite some time ago, with people like Tim Russert quitting politics (he was Tip O'Neal's chief of staph, er, staff) to Clinton's hatchet man George Stephanopoulis taking over ABC news. Does anyone think journism can be remotely objective when it is full of partisan hacks? I do not excuse Fox New here either; they hired Bush's lawyer Carl Rove. This is unacceptable; the role of journalism is to report honestly and to maintain some distance between themselves and the objects of their scrutiny. Now government and media are one in the same.

Is it any wonder an outsider like Donald Trump would receive 95% negative media coverage when the media and the political ruling class are one?

Here's a fun primer on election rigging.

Sidney Powell said:

"I never say anything I can’t prove. Hundreds of thousands of Americans have stepped forward with their different instances of voter fraud. This is a massive voter fraud. The Dominion software was used by other election machines also. The software was the problem. Even the manual explains how votes can be wiped away. They also have an algorithm to calculate the votes they would need to flip, and they used the computers to flip those votes. When the votes are really audited and the real votes are counted, Trump will win. He is the President!” — https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oi13x6_Ki3o&feature=youtu.be

Smartmatics, the company that supplies software to Dominion, was founded with the intention of military/black ops in mind. It was designed for vote theft (overseas) and a feature in the manual is to change votes once cast.

Powell states:

"I have evidence from a first-hand witness, a high-ranking military officer who was present when Smartmatic was designed….”designed in a way that the system could change the vote of each voter without being detected. He wanted the software to function in such a manner that if the voter were to place their thumbprint or a fingerprint on a scanner, then the thumbprint would be tied to a record of the voter’s name and identity as having voted, but that voter would not be tracked to the changed vote. He made it clear that the system would have to be setup but not leave any evidence of the changed vote for a specific voter, and that there would be no evidence to show and nothing to contradict that the name or the fingerprint or thumbprint was going with a changed vote. Smartmatic agreed to create such a system and produce the software and hardware that accomplished the result for President Chavez.”

And it is the guy who has given the world THIS that Joe Biden has appointed to his transition team!

Also, do not forget the CIA programs of Hammer and Scorecard (much like Hammer and Sickle) which was a CIA technology used to tamper with foreign elections.

This stinks to high heaven.

Stats and the Election

Timothy Birdnow

Here is a good analogy about how close the election is in the disputed states. From Facebook:

Maurizio Morabito

Trump vs Biden right now.

Take GA, AZ and PA.
If they all go to Trump, Trump wins. Partial results say they all went to Biden.

Distance between Trump and Biden (half of the difference of course):

GA 7103 votes or 1 in 695 or 0.14%
AZ 5229 votes or 1 in 638 or 0.16%
PA 36610 votes or 1 in 186 or 0.54%

Figures suggest that GA and AZ can easily go to Trump with the discovery of extremely minimal fraud.

Only a larger problem could more PA away from Biden. But then, Philadelphia is well known as a place of electoral shenanigans. And still, it's half of one percent...

Take an Olympic swimming pool 50m x 25m x 3m (164ft x 82ft x 10ft). Isolate a volume of water 2.4m x 2.4m x 2.4m (7.8ft x 7.8ft x 7.8ft).

That's half of one percent in volume.

The distance between Trump and Biden in Pennsylvania is equivalent to the volume used by a single person in an Olympic swimming pool.

In Georgia and Arizona, less than a quarter of that.

And there might be more stuff in other States still..

That's why "concession" and "election" are totally illogical at the moment.

How a Philly mob boss stole the election — and why he may flip on Joe Biden

Dana Mathewson

Who needs Russia to subvert an election? American-grown mobsters can do it better. This is amazing!

The innermost circles of the American mafia are abuzz. The Boss of the Philly mob — ‘Skinny Joey’ Merlino — is taking a victory strut, hobnobbing around the highest echelons of old-time mafia folk, mostly in Florida, describing what may have been the heist of the century: the 2020 presidential election.

The feat is drawing praise from far-flung corners of the Italian American business community, which sees the thanks of a grateful administration as key to the revival of the community’s political influence.

But an associate says that Merlino might just be willing to flip on Joe Biden and the Pennsylvania political operatives who ordered up some 300,000 election ballots marked for Biden. The source alleges that Merlino and a lean team of associates manufactured those ballots at a rate of $10 per ballot — a whopping $3 million for three days of work. They were then packaged into non-descript cardboard boxes and dropped off outside the Philadelphia Convention Center.

Sources who spoke to The Chronicle on the condition of anonymity say that Merlino picked up those ballots from two private households where a trusted handful of associates were busily marking ballots with Sharpie markers. They were paid more than $1,000 per hour, often producing thousands of ballots every hour for more than 60 nearly-consecutive hours.

The ballots were purchased in cash.

It’s thought that Democratic Party operatives working inside Philadelphia’s election office provided Merlino with crates of raw ballots just hours before polls closed on election night, which he transported to two private households in South Philadelphia. By 10 p.m. that night Merlino’s operation was already generating more than 3,000 ballots per hour, which quickly scaled to more than 6,000 ballots per hour before midnight.

But now, Merlino might just be willing to flip on Biden — in prime time Congressional testimony — if President Donald J. Trump is willing to issue the longtime mobster a full expungement of his decades-long criminal record. And, of course, Merlino wants to be pardoned for the election fraud itself and any crimes to which he may incriminate himself during his testimony.

"He wants a clean record. He wants to fish and hunt on federal lands. He’d really like a job with the National Parks Service. You need a clean record to get those things,” explains one confidant. "But most of all he wants the thanks of a grateful nation for coming forward.”

Do it, Mr. President! Do it! What's one pardoned mobster compared to the truth getting out? Do it, I say!

The article is here, https://buffalochronicle.com/2020/11/14/exclusive-how-a-philly-mob-boss-stole-the-election-and-why-he-may-flip-on-joe-biden/amp/?__twitter_impression=true and it makes wonderful reading!

The Fall of Britain

This from David Nabham:

How low the poor UK has fallen. My op-ed of some months ago calling scurrilous attention to the fact that 3,000 elderly Britons expire from "cold domicile" deaths--owing to the hysterical fear Britons have against extracting fuel from their own soil to heat their own grandparents' homes--didn't run in the UK. It was the courageous Irish Examiner that published it. Well, guess what's next on the terrified British agenda? Outlawing free speech, in one's own home, among one's own family, in private. That shocking legislation is before the Scottish Parliament as we speak. And which Scottish paper is running my op-ed screaming "no!" to this Soviet-style outrage? Well, once again, it's one in...IRELAND?! Again? Jeez, the cowardice on one side of the Irish Sea and bravery on the other is certainly a sight to behold.

More Arguing with Bidennaughts

Timothy Birdnow

Another fight on Facebook. I posted:

Joe Biden promised to wait until all votes were counted back during the first debate. Now he wants a bum's rush.

Marty replied:

If I am not mistaken President Trump declared himself the winner the night of the election. Get over it.

I retorted:

Well YOU guys never did Marty McClimens. And that with a clear victory by Trump in 2016. The Democrats refused to accept Trump won and tried to flip electors by doxxing them, brought articles of impeachment within a couple of months of Trump's election, refused to show up at his inauguration,, had the Mueller probe stacked with Democrats (and still failed to find anything) and then impeached Trump for allegedly doing what Joe Biden actually did. There was never ANY acceptance they had lost, despite the fact that outside of California Hillary got smoked. But now the Democrats are stealing this election in plain sight and WE should get over it?

Also, Marty  remember the election of 2000? That went on for over a month. Trump did say he won - and that it was being stolen. He has every reason. He was well ahead until a number of 3 a.m. vote dumps suddenly shifted everything for Joe Biden. So he isn't supposed to fight that? Why did Al Gore fight so long and hard then?

Marty replies:

2000 a difference of 587 votes not 5,000,000 for one. For 4 months Trump told people mail in ballots was a bad thing of course the mail in ballots (3 a.m. dumps) are going to be in favor of the party that pushed for them. Do you really believe the election was tainted or stolen? People need to accept facts not the political propaganda that is cable news talk shows. Trump has been an embarrassment for this country for four years and will continue to be for some time yet to come. He is the most self centered president we have ever had. He has no empathy towards anyone. The transition of the presidency is vital for the well being of the country. Right now our country is more divided than ever and through out his presidency Trump has fueled that divide with his rhetoric, lies, half truths and arrogance and who ever ends up in the oval office come January will have their work cut out for them.

I reply:

To plagiarize a plagiarist "C'mon Man!" Marty McClimens you know full well that the Democrats would be screaming bloody murder if the situation were reversed. There is evidence of vote fraud all over the place, from machines flipping votes to Trump ballots in trash cans to stoppages in voting. And Trump was up until late in the night in most of these places when Democratic precincts suddenly "found" a bunch of Biden votes and "lost" a bunch of Trump votes.

Any reasonable person would not accept this.

Yes, I do indeed believe this was stolen. I have been saying this was going to be the Mother of All Fraud this election cycle and I was not disappointed. I do not listen to much of what Donald Trump says, btw. I could see the writing on the wall. It's why your party wanted so desperately to get mail in voting. Mail in voting has been banned in most other countries precisely because it is ripe for fraud (which is why the Democrats were so insistent on having it.) https://www.foxnews.com/politics/new-report-points-to-restrictive-rules-on-mail-in-voting-worldwide

By the way, how is it the Russians could meddle with the election by spending a few thousand dollars on Facebook ads and this was a serious crisis demanding millions be spent and a huge investigation carried out, but now we cannot believe it is possible for the Democrats who actually control the districts where funny business is occuring can't possibly be stealing the election?

By the way, your "cable news" sneer shows you do not know what you are talking about; Fox News has turned decidedly anti-Trump except for some of the opinion people. I would point out that they were the ones who called Arizona WHILE PEOPLE WERE STILL VOTING to try to turn it. So, is that some sort of pro-Trump position? James Murdoch who now runs Fox donated well over a million dollars to Joe Biden during the campaign.

You say " Trump has been an embarrassment for this country for four years and will continue to be for some time yet to come." Who has been an embarassment? Who refused to accept the results of the 2016 elections? Who made up the fake "Russian collusion" meme? Who promoted endless investigations of the President? Who impeached the President for what Joe Biden actually did? Marty, you are smarter than that; you know the Democrats are the ones who embarassed this country. And now they are openly trying to steal the election and you want us to let them do it.

Trump may be self-centered, but what of Barack Obama? Bill Clinton? Funny; I haven't heard you say much about either of the Clintons. Bill wasn't self-centered? I would point out it was Hillary's temper tantrum that gave us the attacks on the President in the first place. SHE came up with the idea of framing Trump as a Russian agent, and it was her campaign that hired Fusion GPS to produce the smear Steele Dossier that was used to justify spying on Trump. Or do you still deny they spied on Trump? Hillary was the sorest of sore losers.

Perhaps you have forgotten the Democrats refused to attend Trump's inauguration. Yeah; real classy.

Your beloved Democrats are the sorest of sore losers and they are the ones who set the tone for the last four years. If you think Trump was embarassing perhaps that was because he was so disrespected.

This country is divided because the Left wants to ram their utopian visions down America's throat. Donald Trump tapped into the rightful anger at this. He is there because a lot of people (myself included) did not like the direction this country has been heading in. Marty, do you believe in open borders? Your party does. Do you believe in asymmetric trade with China that has moved American companies overseas? Do you believe in NAFTA which sucked jobs out of America? Your party does. Do you think guys wearing dresses should be able to go into women's bathrooms? Do you want American soldiers wearing high heels on the battlefield? Do you want unrestrained abortion? These are all planks of the Democratic Party. Do you want more racial violence and strife? Biden and the Democrats are supporting the terrorists in Black Lives Matter and Antifa. And if you think Trump going away will  somehow end this you should disabuse yourself of that notion. It started under Obama, in case you forget.

Do you want the Paris Accords back? They'll drive the price of gas way up. So will the Green New Deal which Mr. Biden lied about (it was on his own website sans the social policies like guaranteed minimum income.) Do you want eight buck a gallon gas?

But the Labor Tribune says Orange Man Bad.

Marty, the media and the Democrats created this divide, because some of us wouldn't shut up and let them run the world. It's the side you've chosen that has created this breech, not us, and not Donald Trump.

And now your party comes along and openly tries to steal the election and we're supposed to shut up and make nice?

If nothing else this must be investigated to maintain confidence in our electoral system. That the Democrats don't want that is proof positive they have cheated here and plan to cheat in the future.

C'mon Man!

BTW Without California Trump and Biden tied on the popular vote (meaning Trump won it as the Democrats stole so many votes.) http://www.google.com/url?q=https://www.indystar.com/story/news/politics/elections/2020/11/10/braun-says-trump-and-biden-tied-popular-vote-without-california/6235884002/&sa=U&ved=2ahUKEwimmreExoftAhWPaM0KHeB_BqgQFjAEegQIAxAB&usg=AOvVaw3t5IOjXXTP-6iu2SHLypqa

That was true of the election of 2016 as well. Your "five million votes" comment is disingenuous. He didn't win the contested areas by that much. BTW Gore won by half a million votes in 2000, but you do a bait and switch with the numbers.

Evidence Does Not Support Mandated Masks

James Doogue

I have always thought that face masks are likely to reduce the transmission of airborne disease like Covid-19. I have stated as much a number of times here. But I'm always prepared to be persiaded by the evidence.

Certainly if I was in power, and was going to make the wearing of face masks compulsory, I'd confirm that decision was supported by science. That doesn't seem to be a concern for Dan Andrews or Joe Biden.

The scientific literature and recent anecdotal empirical evidence, to my admitted surprise, does not support the mandatory wearing of face masks to protect against airborne respiratory diseases.

Dan Andrews is the infamous leader in the Australian state of Victoria who claimed he instituted a nightime curfew on health advice, when in actuality it was his own idea.

Andrews has now lifted the curfew and some other ridiculous restrictions he imposed when Victoria suffered a deadly second wave of Covid-19 infections. That second wave was solely caused by Andrews deciding to manage quarantine security, and contact tracing, differently to the rest of Australia.

Consequently Victoria is now responsible for 73% of Australia's Covid-19 cases and 90% of Covid-19 deaths, despite making up just 25% of our population on 3% of our land mass.

Victoria, was the only Australian state to mandate face masks. Yesterday, despite Victoria going 12 days without a single Covid-19 death or new infection, Dan Andrews said he's not even considering reviewing the mask mandate until next weekend.

People are still being arrested for not wearing face masks in public. You have the ridiculous sight of people walking alone on a beach, jogging in the park, or horse riding, while wearing a mask.

In the Northern Hemisphere masks are mandated accross Europe and in many states in the US. Joe Biden's stated policy, though even as President he would lack authority, is to have a national mask mandate.

So what is the published research position on masks to fight airborne respiratory diseases? I searched the medical literature databases and found the most specific, comprehensive study was published in May this year by the US Centre for Disease Control and Prevention. The epidemic experts, the very people Joe Biden claims he will listen to.

The research paper reviewed all available evidence on the topic of the efficacy of masks and other non-pharmaceutical measures in the journal report titled, 'Nonpharmaceutical Measures for Pandemic Influenza in Nonhealthcare Settings-Personal Protective and Environmental Measures', May 2020 from the journal, 'Emerging Infectious Diseases' 26(5):967-975 DOI: 10.3201/eid2605.190994

https://www.researchgate.net/publication/341080333_Nonpharmaceutical_Measures_for_Pandemic_Influenza_in_Nonhealthcare_Settings-Personal_Protective_and_Environmental_Measures

To be clear, this is looking at the use of non-respirator type masks in non-clinical, non-healthcare settings. In other words, for the public, in public.

The study abstract is included below. In summary the researchers write, that from all the research they could find where randomised control trials have been carried out, that is in scientific trials, there was no statistically significant benefit shown from 'improved hygiene and environmental cleaning' in reducing the transmission of laboratory confirmed influenza.

'Hygiene' looked at hand hygiene and masks procedures implemented in addition to the control group's standard hand hygiene or mask procedures.

'Environmental cleaning' refers to the additional cleaning and 'wipe down' requirements implemented above and beyond the control groups' normal cleaning procedures.

What the result of all these studies imply, is that the hand hygiene, cleaning and mask measures typically implemented during epidemics do not make a statistically different impact on the spread of airborne respiratory diseases such as influenza, or Coronaviruses.

Yes, better hygiene will reduce the spread of bacteria, and therefore reduce other illnesses, which is a good thing during an epidemic. But hygiene and non-respirator type masks have little impact on the spread of airborne respiratory diseases.

The most significant measures which reduce the spread of infections like influenza, and therefore by inference, Covid-19, are:

- Quarantine the infected.

- Isolating anyone with symptoms in case they are infectious. This means people with coughs, runny noses, etc, should not go to work, shopping or socialising. That stops people spreading infected droplets in the air which people will breath regardless of masks.

- Improved coughing and sneezing etiquette. Turning away and coughing or sneezing into a tissue and disposing of it and washing your hands immediately, or into the elbow if no tissue available.

- Social distancing particularly indoors, so that if there are infected people their infected breath is less likely to be inhaled.

ABSTRACT
There were 3 influenza pandemics in the 20th century, and there has been 1 so far in the 21st century. Local, national, and international health authorities regularly update their plans for mitigating the next influenza pandemic in light of the latest available evidence on the effectiveness of various control measures in reducing transmission.

Here, we review the evidence base on the effectiveness of nonpharmaceutical personal protective measures and environmental hygiene measures in nonhealthcare settings and discuss their potential inclusion in pandemic plans.

Although mechanistic studies support the potential effect of hand hygiene or face masks, evidence from 14 randomized controlled trials of these measures did not support a substantial effect on transmission of laboratory-confirmed influenza.

We similarly found limited evidence on the effectiveness of improved hygiene and environmental cleaning.

We identified several major knowledge gaps requiring further research, most fundamentally an improved characterization of the modes of person-to-person transmission.

Covid-19 Anecdotal Empirical Data
Tony Heller at Realclimatescience.com has provided the graphs shown below. In each case he's shown the timing of the mask mandates, and what happened to Covid-19 infections after the mask mandate.

In the cases of the UK, Spain, and the US states of New Mexico, Colorado and Montana, after masks were mandated, infections increased by a factor of at least 5 or six.

You might think that if the masks hadn't been mandated, the number of infections could have been worse! But as Tony Heller shows, in his home state of Wyoming, which is immediately below Montana on the map, Covid-19 infections grew more slowly, and to less than half the rate of Montana.

There are plenty of laboratory studies which can show that wearing a surgical or cloth mask, can reduce the transmission of airborne infections. But those studies are done where masks fit well, are fitted and removed correctly, and changed regularly.

The Australian Federal Government's advice on masks published in March answered the question, Do masks protect against coronavirus disease?

'Surgical masks in the community are only helpful in preventing people who have coronavirus
disease from spreading it to others. If you are well, you do not need to wear a surgical mask as
there is little evidence supporting the widespread use of surgical masks in healthy people to
prevent transmission in public.'

This concurred with advice from the World Health Organisation and Donald Trump's senior adviser the mercurial Dr Fauci. No doubt he will change that advice if he keeps his job under Joe Biden.

Administrations which are recommending or mandating masks, do so with the instructions on how to use them.

Even mask advocates, particularly Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer in the US, and Dan Andrews in Australia, do not, and in all practicality, can not follow these instructions:

- Wash or sanitise your hands before putting it on or taking it off. [Did you see any of them do that at a press conference?]

- Make sure the mask covers your nose and mouth and fits snugly under your chin, over the bridge of your nose and against the sides of your face. [How many times have we watched someone talking and seen their colour co-ordinated cloth mask, or ill-fitting surgical masks creep down their nose?]

- Do not touch the front of your mask while wearing or removing it. may

- Do not allow the mask to hang around your neck or under your nose. [Which is what just about every reporter and politician has done when speaking. And what is done by smokers, and people eating or drinking.]

- Do not reuse single use masks; wash and dry reusable masks after use and store in a clean dry place. [How many masks do you think people in mask mandated locations have? Especially when regulations allow any cloth covering, where people are using their scarfs!]

No doubt it is because the above guidances cannot be practicably followed in anything other than a clinical setting; and because the quality of masks is below N95 respirator grade, that the real life randomised control studies done around the world, show masks to have no statistically significant benefit in reducing influenza, and therefore Covid-19.

If anything, based on the experiences in mask mandated zones, it's likely masks can have a negative impact, increasing infections, when mandated to control Covid-19.

A Sobering Thought

Timothy Birdnow

Here's a handy little gadget!  A doohicky to sober you up in case you get pulled over after too much holiday eggnog.

Hillary Clinton probably is bitter she didn't have this device four years ago.

By the Numbers

Bill H.

The number of votes is highly suspicious. In 2016, with Democrats all pumped up to make history, Democrats cast 62.9 million votes for the first female president in history. In 2020, after holding rallys in emty stadiums, Democrats cast 78.7 million votes for a senile white male president, an increase of 25%.

In 2008, another year in which Democrats were all pumped up to make history, they cast 69.4 million votes for the first black president in history. In 2020, after holding rallys in emty stadiums, Democrats cast 78.7 million votes for a senile white male president, an increase of more than 13%.

Donald Trump received 73.1 million votes this year, more than any Democratic presidential candidate in history, except for a senile white man with a proven track record of corruption.

Democratic votes by year:
2008 Obama’s first, 69,498,516 votes, 17% higher than 2004
2012 Obama’s 2nd, 65,915,795 votes, 5% lower than 2008
2016 Clinton’s 1st, 65,844,610 votes, 0.5% higher than 2012
2020 Biden’s 4th run, 78,738,051 votes, 19.6% higher than 2016

So a three time loser, running for the fourth time, drew 13% more votes than "the first black president in history,” and 19.6% more than "the first female president in history.”

And I have a bridge in Brooklyn that I can sell you at a terrific price.

Coercion and Vote Fraud

James Doogue

While the proof of fraud and improprieties grow, the mainstream media continue to tell us any claims of fraud in the US elections are baseless.

Social media platforms are busy blocking or censoring posts which include claims or evidence of fraud. I know from personal experience. This is done not just by blocking posts, but also by placing links for 'election information and updates' below any posts about the US election.

If you click on those links, you are taken to articles which assure you voter fraud is extremely rare. Or the voting system is very secure etc.

Below is a link to an undercover recording of a federal agent illegally trying to scare and coerce a USPS whistleblower into changing his claim of voter fraud. He had claimed that his local postal supervisors was instructing staff to date late ballots 3 November so they would be included in the vote count. See two minute video here: https://youtu.be/Cf9DwmUMxFc

Remarkably what happened shortly after, was a very widely shared, fake news video on social media platforms claiming the USPS whistleblower had recanted his claims of ballot fraud.

In fact that fake story was so widely spread I saw it from four sources. I had only seen the original whistleblower story from one source before it got blocked.

It should worry all of us that the mainstream media are working with big tech social media, to decide what information we are allowed to be exposed to.

We have seen the same thing so many times in the last 12 months. The 'Establishments' position on everything about Trump, Biden scandals, the election, Covid-19, bush fires, climate change, trade, and much more, is being coordinated and pushed by mainstream and social media. Meanwhile, any opposing views are thwarted.

The 'Establishment', largely controlled by global corporates, using the political Left as their tools,is the only 'truth' allowed.

Because most sources of news are controlled, most people aren't even aware it is happening. They don't have the time or desire to research beyond news headlines and current affairs programmes.

George Orwell's 1984's 'Big Brother', along with 'New Speak' and the 'Thought Police', have become a reality in The West.

In Russia, China, North Korea and other communist/socialist societies, this end result has been achieved through authoritarian politicians controlling the mainstream and electronic media.

In The West, the Davos set, that is, global corporates and the Establishment, conteol mainstream and online media. Therefore they control the politicians and the people.

The end result is the same as in authoritarian countries. Centralised power among the elite and little control over our personal lives. All the while, we are convinced that there's no better alternative.
