More Hillary e-mail Doings

Timothy Birdnow

Judicial Watch has released a new batch of Hillary Clinton e-mails showing even worse mishandling of classified documents as well as more pay-for-play and other illegalities. When is Jeff Sessions going to act?

Here is the entire article at Judicial Watch, including a lengthy laundry list of violations by her Highness. Below is a small taste:

Judicial Watch: New Clinton Emails Uncovered, Reveal Additional Mishandling of Classified Information

Documents also show more instances of pay to play with Clinton Foundation donors

Abedin’s controversial mother advised Clinton speechwriter to exclude references to ‘democracy/elections/freedom’ and ‘empowerment of women’ for Clinton speech in Saudi Arabia
(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch today released 1,617 new pages of documents from the U.S. Department of State revealing numerous additional examples of classified information being transmitted through the unsecure, non-state.gov account of Huma Abedin, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s deputy chief of staff, as well as many instances of Hillary Clinton donors receiving special favors from the State Department.

The documents included 97 email exchanges with Clinton not previously turned over to the State Department, bringing the known total to date to at least 627 emails that were not part of the 55,000 pages of emails that Clinton turned over, and further contradicting a statement by Clinton that, "as far as she knew,” all of her government emails had been turned over to department.

The emails are the 20th production of documents obtained in response to a court order in a May 5, 2015, lawsuit Judicial Watch filed against the State Department (Judicial Watch, Inc. v. U.S. Department of State (No. 1:15-cv-00684)). Judicial Watch sued after State failed to respond to a March 18, 2015, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request seeking: "All emails of official State Department business received or sent by former Deputy Chief of Staff Huma Abedin from January 1, 2009 through February 1, 2013 using a non-‘state.gov’ email address.” On September 11, 2009, the highly sensitive name and email address of the person giving the classified Presidential Daily Brief was included in an email forwarded to Abedin’s unsecure email account by State Department official Dan Fogerty. The State Department produced many more Clinton and Abedin unsecured emails that were classified:

Quick Climate Cash

Helen Dyer forwards this. It shows the big money behind the Global Warming hysteria.

U.N.'s Global Warming Fraudsters Are More Interested In Climate Cash Than Climate Change

5/17/2017

Climate Deceit: Just when you think the climate change lunacy couldn't get any worse, the U.N.'s climate-crats up the ante. Meeting in Bonn, Germany, for yet another unneeded climate conference, attendees are now demanding $300 billion a year more to help less-developed nations cope with anticipated climatic warming. Are they kidding?

By the way, that $300 billion is in addition to the $100 billion that the world's governments have already promised to deliver under the Paris Climate Agreement. So now they're asking for a total of $400 billion a year in climate welfare for the developing world. No sane government would sign on to such a scam. Which of course means that most of them probably will.

There's really no end to this insanity. To make it worse, the proposal before the Bonn climate talks calls for the added taxpayer-funded cash to be doled out not by the governments themselves, or even the U.N. No, the money will be channeled through existing nongovernmental organizations, or NGOs.

In other words, left-wing green groups around the world will become the conduits for billions of dollars in money handed out to ethically challenged, nondemocratic governments. Think there might be a tiny temptation for corruption there?

Reasons to Fly Delta

Jack Kemp

http://nypost.com/2017/09/12/delta-pays-woman-4k-to-give-up-her-seat-for-college-football-fan/

Delta is trying to salvage the bad reputation airlines have been building recently – like when United dragged a bloodied doctor down the aisle, or when JetBlue was accused of scalding a woman with tea. And they’re doing it by shelling out huge sums of money to their passengers.

A NOTE FROM DANA:

Delta's been a pretty decent airline to fly, over the years. I remember a Delta flight out of MSP maybe 18 or so years ago, (before the "merger") back when they actually served food on flights, and I got a really decent meal -- as in, the food tasted good. I remember complimenting the flight attendant.

Did this mope... er, Pope, even go to high school?

Dana Mathewson forwards this:

http://www.americanpatriotdaily.com/featured/pope-francis-finished/

A WORD FROM JACK KEMP:

The old Yankee Stadium was the site of a few Masses held by previious Popes as well as the site of many NY Giants football games before the Meadowlands stadium was built in New Jersey.

If Pope Francis came to perform a Mass at the new Yankee Stadium, I think he would take a knee during the playing of the U.S. National Anthem.

Frankly, while reading the Pope's words about American politics and not religion, I thought they were something written by NY Mayor de Blasio (who got 74.6 percent of the vote in the Democratic primary yesterday).

Homeless Veterans vs. "Dreamers"

Jack Kemp

The supposedly liberal Washington Post had an article that insulted many Americans of all ethnic backgrounds and pointedly blacks and Hispanics. Here is literally "the money quote" and its relationship to unemployed and homeless veterans direct, often (but not always) a direct cause:

BEGIN QUOTE

But the Moody’s analysis says Americans’ wages would rise when the labor supply drops, and the AAF study says that the departure of all 11 million illegals would free up to 2.8 million jobs for young Americans:
Fully enforcing current law towards all undocumented immigrants would cause private sector employment to decline by 4 million to 6.8 million workers … The negative consequences of removing all undocumented workers from the private sector would be particularly harmful to the industries that employ these workers, such as agriculture, construction, and leisure and hospitality.
END OF QUOTE

I can't recall ever seeing such a self-serving elitist statement in an article at ANY major newspaper, from the right, the left or the center. It could have been written by a member fo the French aristocracy just before the French Revolution.

Here is an excerpt:

http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2017/09/11/washpo-daca-illegals-needed-blacks-latinos-cant-jobs/

WashPo: DACA Illegals Needed Because Blacks, Latinos Can’t Do the Jobs
by Neil Munro11 Sep 20174,809
There is no evidence that unemployed Africa-American and Hispanic-Americans youths can do the jobs done by "DACA” illegal immigrants, the liberal Washington Post told its readers September 6.
Reporter Tracy Jan headlined her article "The Truth” as she argued that lower-skilled Americans cannot do the jobs filled by DACA illegals.
Here’s the problem: immigrant and native-born workers are imperfect substitutes. There is no evidence that the unemployed Americans, be they black, white or Hispanic, have the skills necessary to hold the same jobs occupied by the young beneficiaries of the five-year-old Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.

A NOTE FROM DANA MATHEWSON

This is a long article which I am rather disinclined to spend time to read all the way through. If it IS true that there is a shortage of Americans who can perform the jobs, it's a real slap in the face to our educational system, and we'd better do something about it -- quickly. Betsy DeVos, are you listening? I suspect that the liberals who run the system are responsible and this is exactly what they want.

Again, we have to look at the idiots who are insisting that the minimum wage continues to push entry-level jobs out of reach.

But with the level of unemployment still as high as it is, something is still very wrong with this picture.

Chappaquiddick Reckoning?

Dana Mathewson

Yesterday, 5:03 PMYou;Jack Kemp (sundialman2@aol.com);

A Chappaquiddick Reckoning At Last? [With Comment by John]
www.powerlineblog.com

I paid no attention to the fact that Hollywood was producing a biopic of Ted Kennedy's famous 'accident' at Chappaquiddick in 1969, and would have assumed that it was a typical gauzy pro-Kennedy puff piece if I had known. But Variety magazine, the main trade journal of Hollywood, offers a review that not only says that the forthcoming movie Chappaquiddick is suitably harsh on Teddy, but that he

A NOTE FROM JACK KEMP:

There are stories that speculated Mary Jo was pregnant with Ted Kennedy's child and she wanted to expose that fact to the press (as a good Catholic, she didn't want an abortion). That's why Kennedy felt compelled to remove this "problem" which, in the late 1960s, would have ended his Presidential quest, if not his Senatorial careerr as well. Of course, it did end his Presidential quest - and many Democrats, including Jimmy Carter, mentioned it in their campaigns against "The Swimmer."

AND THIS FROM DANA:

I've always believed that was the case -- that Mary Jo was pregnant. None of the Kennedy men were ever able to "keep their pants buttoned." Ted's actions on that fatal night certainly were those of a "conflicted" person. On the one hand, he didn't want his sweetheart to drown. On the other hand, he didn't want his career and his reputation to drown. For probably the first and last time in his life, he acted as if he had a conscience, truncated though it was.

A shame it didn't end his entire political career. He caused this country a lot of problems in the Senate.

The case of the Pakistani IT "expert" just took an interesting twist

Dana Mathewson

Disturbing Story" About Wasserman Schultz:

Last week the Washington Examiner reported that Hina Alvi, the wife of Debbie Wasserman Schultz's now-infamous former IT staffer Imran Awan, had struck a deal with federal prosecutors to return to the U.S. where she currently faces charges of conspiracy and bank fraud. The deal with prosecutors mandates a return to the U.S. during the "last week of September 2017" and is structured so that she will not be arrested in front of her children.

Now, if you're the cynical type, then it might have struck you as somewhat odd that Alvi would agree to return from Pakistan, the place to which she successfully fled specifically to avoid the charges she now seems to be embracing.
But, at least according to Congressman Trent Franks (R-AZ) who appeared on Fox News recently, there may be more to Alvi's return than meets the eye as he predicts that the Awans could be working on a broader immunity deal with prosecutors in return for a "significant" and "pretty disturbing" story about Debbie Wasserman Schultz.

"I don’t want to talk out of school here but I think you're going to see some revelations that are going to be pretty profound. The fact that this wife is coming back from Pakistan and is willing to face charges, as it were, I think there is a good chance she is going to reach some type of immunity to tell a larger story here that is going to be pretty disturbing to the American people.”

Hialey, Haley, the Gang's All Here!

Dana Mathewson

PJ Media's Roger L. Simon writes a well-considered article suggesting exactly that. I know not all of you are comfortable with the idea of a woman president, and some will point to Hillary's defeat in support. However, I think we could argue that Hillary's sex (or "gender," as the Left prefers) was the least of her shortcomings, but that's an argument for another day.

Trump Amnetizes Illegals in Hurricane Country

Timothy Birdnow

This from Judicial Watch:

https://www.myjw.org/wta/link.php?AGENCY=jw&M=2719693&N=5352&L=6&F=H>

Trump DHS Offers Immigrants Hurricane Harvey Amnesty<https://www.myjw.org/wta/link.php?AGENCY=jw&M=2719693&N=5352&L=2905&F=H>

SEPTEMBER 12, 2017

Keeping with an Obama-era tradition of offering illegal immigrants reprieve, the Trump administration is providing those in the Houston area with hurricane amnesty in the aftermath of Harvey. Judicial Watch reported extensively on the special Obama amnesties, which were granted for inclement weather, a virus, natural disasters and tainted water in a U.S. city. One of Obama’s final special amnesty programs<https://www.myjw.org/wta/link.php?AGENCY=jw&M=2719693&N=5352&L=2937&F=H> was issued last year for victims of Hurricane Matthew, the powerful storm that slammed the southeastern United States, killing dozens and causing severe flooding.

Prior to that, Obama took advantage of Hurricane Sandy<https://www.myjw.org/wta/link.php?AGENCY=jw&M=2719693&N=5352&L=2940&F=H> to waive immigration laws, including for violators of student visas like most of the 9/11 hijackers that carried out the worst terrorist attack on American soil. The official announcement, issued by USCIS, stated that the government "understands that a natural disaster can affect an individual’s ability to maintain a lawful immigration status.” Among the benefits of that hurricane amnesty was "expedited adjudication of off-campus employment authorization applications for F-1 students experiencing economic hardship.” Hurricanes in other countries have also benefitted illegal aliens in the U.S. who happen to be nationals of the affected regions, even though they don’t live there.

Other natural disasters abroad also resulted in special reprieves for illegal aliens in the United States during the Obama years. A special earthquake amnesty<https://www.myjw.org/wta/link.php?AGENCY=jw&M=2719693&N=5352&L=2938&F=H> was implemented for Ecuadorean nationals living in the U.S. illegally and the word spread like wildfire in Spanish media reports published throughout Latin America. Officially this is known as Temporary Protected Status (TPS), a humanitarian measure designed to temporarily shield illegal immigrants from deportation during emergencies. In a Spanish announcement, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) stated that it was helping Ecuadoreans in the U.S. by granting them work permits and waving visa fees of candidates show that their financial situation was hurt by the earthquake a continent away

End excerpt.

Obama also gave illegals a reprieve for the Ebola outbreak (? - isn't it logical to get foreigners OUT of the country in such instances?) and for Midwestern flooding. Now Trump is doing the same. Again, from the article:

"Apparently, the Trump administration has no intention of ending the madness. A few weeks ago U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the DHS agency charged with overseeing lawful immigration to the United States, announced its Hurricane Harvey amnesty<https://www.myjw.org/wta/link.php?AGENCY=jw&M=2719693&N=5352&L=2936&F=H> to help "people affected by unforeseen circumstances, including disasters such as Hurricane Harvey.” The language is taken right out of agency press releases issued for similar causes under Obama. Under the Hurricane Harvey plan, the agency will change a nonimmigrant status or extend a nonimmigrant stay for individuals currently in the U.S. "Failure to apply for the extension or change before expiration of your authorized period of admission may be excused if the delay was due to extraordinary circumstances beyond your control,” according to a USCIS announcement. Other perks include a "re-parole” of individuals previously granted parole, expedited processing of parole requests, expedited adjudication of employment authorization and a variety of other benefits not usually extended to those who have violated American laws. A note at the bottom of the USCIS announcement reads; "when making a request, please explain how the impact of Hurricane Harvey created a need for the requested relief.” It will be interesting to see how the agency confirms the storm’s impact before granting the reprieve."

End excerpt.

What do the American People have to do to get the attention of our government and force their hand? We tossed out both parties in the last election and STILL we are being treated to this nonsense. The elites want what they want and will use everything at their disposal to get it. Our votes do not seem to matter.

Look; I get it; during a disaster there are more important things than kicking invading aliens out of the country. But isn't a disaster the opportune time to toss them, when we are struggling to care for refugees anyway? Shouldn't Mexico or Central America resume the burden of caring for these people, a burden which is theirs to begin with and which they have shirked? I know Trump doesn't want to look hard-hearted, but he needs to look strong and determined. Illegal immigration was the root of Trump's victory and the reason he won over so many former Democrats. He MUST show he's doing what he was elected to do. Weakness on this issue will get him nowhere with the media but will sour his voting base.

One thing is perfectly clear; we no longer have a government of the People, by the People and for the People, but rather a government run by a ruling junta, an elite class that drops just enough crumbs for the citizenry to make it appear we are a Democratic Republic. We aren't, not any longer. We are an oligarchy, little different from what Putin is running in Russia these days. And the billionaires run it all. George Soros anyone?

Sweet Romney Brown

There's a story about Mitt Romney wanting to run for the Senate if Orin Hatch retires.

http://www.marketwatch.com/story/mitt-romney-may-run-for-utah-senate-seat-in-2018-report-2017-09-11

I have a more fiting job for Romney. He should play basketball for the Washington Generals (the team that loses to the Harlem Globetrotters).

DANA MATHEWSON REPLIES;

Either. I'm not sure he has the stamina to play basketball anymore. But one wonders just how he'd be treated in a Senate run, too. Might be fun to watch, from a distance.

TO WHICH JACK ENTERS THE REJOINDER;

I got it. Romney should become the business manager of the Washington Generals.

The Dogs Of 9/11

Jack Kemp

I had a big "coffee table" book with tons of pictures about the 300 odd dogs that came to Ground Zero in NY. I gave it to a friend who has a girl (then around age 10).
The daughter loved the book and read it to her little half-brother.

There were two dogs that lead their blind owners down over 70 flights of stairs each to safety from the Twin Towers. And the rescue dogs were given IVs after working all day in the rubble by volunteer veteranarians. And the dogs wore rubber bottom booties because the fires burned under the Trade Center debris for 100 days at temperatures ranging from 800 to 1500 degrees Fahrenheit. I think a lot of dogs were sent home after about a week or so because there were no live people to rescue.

https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2017/09/11/the-few-the-proud-the-dogs-of-911-3/

Bretagne was the last of the 9/11 search and rescue dogs to be laid to rest. The above video show the honor given her by the officers (video says it is Houston firefighters) as she takes her final steps. There were many American heroes in the aftermath of 9/11. These dogs were among them. The rest of this post is the first one I wrote about the dogs on the anniversary of the attack.

We have all heard that heroes come in all shapes and sizes; sometimes the most unassuming person rises to the occasion and meets the challenge. And sometimes it is a very special type of animal, a rescue dog. In the aftermath of 9/11 bombings, the world’s largest deployment of rescue dogs were used to search for survivors, working tirelessly with their handlers, searching the ruins, and according to witnesses, giving great comfort to the workers. Dutch photographer Charlotte Dumas has published a book called Retrieved, featuring the surviving dogs in their final years. Read more and check out the pictures of these wonderful dogs here in this Daily Mail article.

Many of these dogs have heart wrenching stories. One of the most well known and celebrated of the rescue dogs is Jake. He was found abandoned and injured, with a dislocated hip and broken leg. Adopted when he was 10 months old by Mary Flood, a member of Utah Task Force 1, a federal search and rescue team, Flood helped train Jake to become a certified rescue dog. Jake was most known for his work at Ground Zero, but he also participated in the post Katrina rescue effort. Jake helped train other dogs for this important work in his later years. Jake died in 2007, but we remember and honor him this week as one of the true heroes who served selflessly, with courage and love.

Here is a touching quote from the rescue scene:

Hillary's Book Tour

Jack Kemp

On Nov. 9th, Hillary will be reading her book (probably for the first time, as her ghostwriter didn't send her a copy quick enough) in Milwaukee, in a state that she lost. I believe tickets run from $89 to the thousands of dollars.

Even before the release, Amazon has already discounted her book by 40 percent. Actually, I think Hillary should pay people to read her book and not the other way around.

So how many tickets do you need? Or will you be doing something more important such as rearranging your sock drawer?

During and after Hurricane Harvey, a chemical plant suffered repeated explosions. Because the power went out. Beaumont, Texas was without drinking water. Because the power went out. Gasoline prices across the nation have spiked, thanks to oil refineries going off line. Because the power went out.

Now, we are being told that Hurricane Irma has knocked out the power for Puerto Rico for between four and six months, with repercussions that may prove not just burdensome but life-threatening for large numbers of the island’s residents. Far less powerful hurricanes have taken down the electric grid in parts of Florida and it is anybody’s guess how long and how widespread that problem will be after what’s being called a "nuclear storm” assaults most, if not all, the peninsula, and perhaps beyond.
If all these naturally precipitated nightmares were not enough, North Korea’s dictator, Kim Jong Un, has explicitly threatened to destroy the rest of the U.S. electricity infrastructure with an electromagnetic pulse (EMP) attack. Should that happen, blacking out large parts of the continental United States for a protracted period of a year or more duration, the chairman of a blue-ribbon congressional committee has estimated that 9 out of 10 Americans will die.
Because the power went out – and stayed out.

Are you seeing a pattern here?

So it was not only Obama's economy that doomed Hillary, it was the way policies led up to Obama's economy. Granted, Obama sealed his own doom. But one is now left to wonder whether things would have been that much better if, say, McCain or Romney had been elected in 2008 instead of The Kenyan.

Nice to see some of the blame finally placed on Greenspan's shoulders. But I have wondered for a long time whether ANYBODY really knows how to "run" the Federal Reserve.
