They Closed the Airspace

Timothy Birdnow

They CLOSED THE AIRSPACE over the Trump rally site. The only time I can remember anything like this happening was after 911:

The airspace over Bethel Park, #Pennsylvania, closed ‘immediately’ for special security reasons, Reuters reports citing the #US Federal Aviation Administration.https://t.co/plKVXhidqi

An Interesting Coincidence

Thomas Matthew Crooks, the 20 year old shooter who tried assassinating President Donald Trump at his campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania last night, was featured in a BlackRock @BlackRock ad in 2023!

The ad was filmed at Bethel Park High School.… pic.twitter.com/radQ3fDJAR— Laura Loomer (@LauraLoomer) July 14, 2024

In Good Hands

The same bureau that investigated the Las Vegas shooting and the January 6th pipe bombs is now investigating the attempted assassination of Trump.

This is also the same bureau that raided Mar-a-Lago.

I’m sure they’ll get to the bottom of this soon.

FBI Can't Get Into Crook's Cell

Timothy Birdnow

The FBI took over the investigation of the poorly named Crooks and his assassination attempt on Donald Trump. We all know how that will pan out given the FBI's incompetence and bias.

Still, they can't even get in the perps cell phone.

Can't or won't?

The phone is allegedly so heavily encrypted they can't get anything out of it. Does that sound like a "lone, crazed gunman" to you?

This thing smells to high heaven.

Dem Staffer: "I Wish His Aim Was Better"

Timothy Birdnow

Mississippi Democratic Congressman Bennie Thompson's aid has been fired after saying she wished the Trump assassin "had better aim".

FTA:

Democratic congressman's staffer is FIRED after saying she wishes shooter Thomas Crooks had 'better aim' in vile post after Trump's near-assassination

A staff member of a Mississippi Democratic congressman took to social media and said she wished the shooter who tried to take Donald Trump's life had better aim.

On Saturday evening, shortly after Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, attempted to assassinate the former president during a rally in Pennsylvania, Jacqueline Marsaw, the field director for Mississippi Congressman Bennie G. Thompson shared a vile post on Facebook about the attack.

Trump was left bloodied and hurt during the assassination attempt as he was seen suddenly grabbing hold of his ear as loud bangs rang out and whizzed by before he ducked to the floor.

Given the bile expressed by so many Democrats against Trump over the years, including holding a replica of his severed, bloody head, hosting shakespeare in the Park featuring Trump as Julius Caesar, calling for his being skewered by Nancy Pelosi's spiked heel, etc. is it any surprise?

I am willing to bet in private e-mails we'll find this sentiment from multiple Democrats.

Also, Biden donor and Linkedin founder Reid Hoffman said he wished Trump had been made a real martyr.

This is the Democratic Party.

Trump's Tax Plan

Timothy Birdnow

Here is an explanation of Trump's tariff plan.

Trump wants to restructure our tax policy, obtaining revenue by tariffs as the U.S. used to and reducing if not eliminating the Income Tax. America has been on a trajectory of rising statism ever since the passage of the 16th Amendment authorizing government to directly tax citizens.

Trump wants to change that.

Critics of the tariff complain it will cost the Fes $25 billion, but so what? They can and will just print more anyway. I would also ask if we really do need this expenditure. Can we not do without funding studies on the smoking habits of gay South American men, or pay to rename bridges after Robert Byrd?

At any rate Trump wants to rein in the power of the IRS. How can that be a bad thing?

Putin: It's Biden's Fault!

Timothy Birdnow

The FBI is claiming the Trump shooter acted alone - the usual "lone crazed gunman" coverup. They are calling it "domestic terrorism".

How long before they catch on to the possibiliities?

Putin is blaming Joe Biden - rightly in many ways - for the attack on Trump. Why aren't they investigating the Russians for this?

In point of fact Putin would have every reason to want to keep Joe Biden in place. They know he is feckless and incompetent. Trump on the other hand scares them.

But even if this isn't the case it would certainly serve the Biden Administration to claim Putin was behind it. Congress would give a lot of money to Ukraine which can be laundered back to the DNC.

Judge Dismisses Trump Documents Case

Richard Cronin

Wow !! This is yuuuge ! Legal scholars and Clarence Thomas have pointed out that the appointment of Jack Smith as the Special Prosecutor in the classified documents case against Donald Trump was unconstitutional from the get go. The resident political hack at the DOJ, Merrick Garland, appointed Jack Smith as Special Prosecutor but never sought Senate approval as is required by the Constitution.

With all the other legal smoke-and-mirrors in hush money to a pornstar and the case in Georgia which is unraveling, the only legal action which could keep Trump off the ballot is conviction under the 14th Amendment which was the singular issue pursued by Jack Smith. Now the stool has been kicked out from beneath Jack Smith and he hangs himself with his own rope.

Trump in Retreat

Timothy Birdnow

The assassination attempt is having it's desired effect; it's making Trump tone down his convention speech.

This is exactly what the Democrats want.

Trump's "give 'em hell" style and combative nature are what move many Americans. The Left via the media has always sought to tamp down Conservative enthusiasm with this "come together' notion. As it hasn't worked in recent years they have now resorted to attempted assassination and Trump is falling in line with it.

I think "unity" is a mistake. We are not in a season for unity. We are in a rebellion against rising Fascism.

Weren't calls for "unity" exaclty what Hitler wanted? Lenin? Had the opposition not sought unity over resistance perhaps the horrors of Naziism and Bolshevism would have been avoided.

But Trump is apparently being swayed by what happened.

I truly hope God is speaking to him and telling him to do this and not the other guy.

And the Cop Ran

Timothy Birdnow

Looks like a police officer saw the Trump shooter and fled the scene.

Conservative Treehouse dishes:

(VIA AP) – […] Not long before shots rang out, rallygoers noticed a man climbing to the roof of a nearby building and warned local police, according to two law enforcement officials.

One local police officer climbed to the roof and encountered Crooks, who pointed his rifle at the officer. The officer retreated down the ladder, and Crooks quickly took a shot toward Trump, and that’s when Secret Service snipers shot him, said the officials, who spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity to discuss an ongoing investigation.

End

And, as the article points out, with the corrupt and Trump-hating FBI investigating this matter we will not get an honest answer.

Unusually Low Security at Trump Rally

Diane Kimura

One of my liberal classmates, an Annapolis grad, said that the "incident” being blown into an assassination is fake news.

Lots of things are not adding up. Plus, Trump’s detail has been working 7 days a week without a day off. The SS pulled off agents to protect Dr Jill who decided to campaign on PA at the last minute.

Shooter’s father is a psychologist and there are photos on 4Chan with the shooter in a yarmulke. There are so much speculation, I am not sure what to believe.

What a coincidence that the shooter appears in a commercial for Blackrock?

It actually makes sense. No question they were fully aware of him being up there. Here is a video of him crawling up there and people pointing him out to law enforcement. It's pretty safe to say that the SS failed I think.

From the interestingasfuck community on Reddit: Video showing the shooter crawling into position while folks point him out to law enforcement at Trump rally

Setting the Stage

Carlos Velazquez

Setting the stage. No pun intended.

As I've said repeatedly, when someone is a Caesar or a Hitler or an existential threat to freedom and democracy, it's logical to eliminate him by any means necessary. Here's what COPILOT AI reports about it trying to assume a neutral tone despite detailing something so evil with dangerous consequences.

In 2017, the Public Theater's "Shakespeare in the Park" production of "Julius Caesar" in New York City depicted a modern-day version of the play, where the character of Julius Caesar was portrayed to resemble then-President Donald Trump. The production was directed by Oskar Eustis and featured Caesar with Trump-like characteristics , including his mannerisms and appearance.

Production: "Julius Caesar" by William Shakespeare, produced by the Public Theater as part of its annual "Shakespeare in the Park" series.
Director: Oskar Eustis
Setting and Interpretation: The play was set in contemporary times, and Caesar was depicted as a Trump-like figure, complete with a business suit, a long red tie, and blond hair.
Controversy: The depiction of the assassination of a Trump-like Caesar sparked significant controversy and backlash. Critics argued that it was in poor taste and incited violence, while defenders cited artistic freedom and the play's historical context.
Sponsors' Reaction: The controversy led to several corporate sponsors, including Delta Air Lines and Bank of America, withdrawing their financial support from the production.
Public Reaction: The production received a mixed response from the public and critics. While some praised its bold artistic statement, others felt it was disrespectful and inflammatory.

Secret disservice

Timothy Birdnow

Let's give a big hand for the head of the Secret Service, the Biden-appointed Kimberly A. Cheatle

A former Pepsi executive, Ms. Cheat'em, er, Cheatle has the stated goal of making 30% of the agency female by 2030(because we all know how tough women are and how they can overpower an attacker so easily.) I mean, that's what the Secret Service REALLY needs these days, more women and less "toxic masculinity"!

I would point out that often the Secret Service does what they did with Trump; protect their charge WITH THEIR BODIES. A 110 pound woman doesn't have the body mass to stop a high caliber bullet.

To paraphase Jake Spoon from the '80's miniseries Lonesome Dove "A woman Secret Service agent won't stop no fifty caliber bullet - but a President will."

Something Fishy

Diane Kimura

This is 3.5 years ago. The NY Post said the shooter was 20 years old. So he was 16 or 17 and registered to vote.

The media is making him out to be a GOP but he wasn’t.

It Doesn't Add Up

Timothy Birdnow

The Trump shooter washed out in tryouts for his high school's rifle team.

https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c3gw58wv4e9o

FTA:

"Others simply remembered him as quiet.

"He was there but I can't think of anyone who knew him well," one former classmate, who asked to remain nameless, told the BBC. "He's just not a guy I really think about. But he seemed fine.

Jameson Myers, a former member of the Bethel Park High School varsity rifle team who graduated alongside Crooks in 2022, told CBS that he did not make the team.

"He did not even make the junior varsity team after trying out," Mr Myers added. "He never returned to try-outs for the remainder of high school."

Mr Myers remembers Crooks as seemingly a "normal boy" who was "not particularly popular but never got picked on or anything."

Facebook friends tell me he was 150 yards from Trump and that this was an "easy" shot.

But this kid wasn't so gooda shot. And he was trying for a head shot.

Why? He seemed to guess that Trump would be wearing a bullet proof vest.He needed to take off Trump's head.

He almost did.

Granted he may have wanted the gory glory of removing the Orange skullcap from Mr. Trump's noggin. A body shot may have seemed too prosaic for this jerk.

So this scumbag knew how to get withing 450 feet of the former President and NOBODY IN THE SECRET SERVICE THOUGHT TO CHECK THE BUILDING. In fact, witnesses say theytold the Secret Service they saw someone up there and were ignored.

He also knew to shoot for the head.

Seems to me he was well-educated on what to do.

I do not believe the "lone crazed gunman" shibboleth at all.

Authorites have his parents barricaded in their home and won't let anyone in our out. That in itself is interesting. Seems to me normally they would just bring these people in for questioning.

So let us recap. A 20 year old kid decides to murder candidate and former President Donald Trump. he'sa REGISTERED REPUBLICAN and using an AR 15 semiautomatic rifle. (He donated money to Code Blue, the Bolshevik group though.) He carts a weapon and ammo through heavy traffic to an unguarded building where he sets up shop on the roof (wasn't the place locked? How did he get in?) He makes it up to the top, sets up, and fires, barely missing the former President. Gets off six shots before the Secret Service snipers conveniently kill him (thus making it impossible to go any further with an investigation.) He knows to try for a head shot. He also has strange devices in his car which authorities suspect could be for use in setting off bombs. All this from a kid who is currently unemployed, or works for a nursing home, depending on who is speaking (different stories give different accounts.) Eye witnesses warned the Secret Service to no avail.

Something doesn't add up here.

The Pass of the Bullet

Timothy Birdnow

A discussion among friends about the Trump shooting.

Lyle Hancock Sr. observes:

The lame stream media is full bore trying to downplay Trump's injury saying he was struck with a piece of glass. A chance photograph shows it was a bullet.

Tina Oh replies:

Admittedly I'm clueless/ignorant about such things, but this photo doesn't make sense. First, Trump was hit in his RIGHT earlobe. It appears the shot is coming from the left? (The shooter was to Trump's RIGHT.) Secondly, perhaps just the angle, but no crowd of people in the photo that were behind him. Sorry, I question everything, anymore.

Lyle responds:

I don't blame you for questioning everything. That's a healthy attitude. The bullet would have been traveling from his right to the left. The angle of the camera was looking upwards, judging from the perspective of the sign. Thus, the crowd behind him was out of frame.

The photographer who took this photo was New York Times photographer Doug Mills. Thus, the photo has been validated. Could a high end camera capture the bullet? Yes. Here is a discussion about it:

Can Doug Mills’ photo of a bullet and President Trump be real? Yes. Here's how...
digitalcameraworld.com

Tim responds:

They claim it was the teleprompter shattering. Bull. If you wach the clip it's obviously not that. Also, they all downplayed this attack. NBC kept saying "alleged assassination attempt" all last night. They referred to Trump as a "witness" and said he was unreliable and they would have to wait for the results of an offical investigation! So it's "don't believe your lying eyes" again.

It looked to me Trump's head was turned to his left. The bullet could well have missed his forehead and passed through his ear if that was the case. Like you I'm no expert on these matters either though.

For God's Sake let Us Sit Upon the Ground and Tell Tales about the Near Death of Kings

Timothy Birdnow

This was entirely predictable. In fact I did.

I take no pleasure in saying I told you so, but I told you so.

I warned that if Trump wasn't stopped by lesser attacks the powers that be would try to kill him - or Joe Biden to change the dynamic of the election. I have sadly been proven correct And since this failed I warn you there may be an assassination attempt on President Biden in "reprisal" for the attempt on Trump.
