Facebook Leaves up Racial Violence Threat

In a recent discussion about race that popped up on the KMOV channel 4 Facebook page, a black woman threatened violence against white people if Trump were re-elected. She said something to the effect that "you white people better watch out if you re-elect Trump". (I planned to copy and paste it this morning but strangely couldn't find the comment.) At any rate I asked her "Is that a threat" and she replied "You know it." I reported her to Facebook.

Here was the reply from the moral high guard at Zuckerberg's operation:

Timothy, we reviewed the comment that you reported and found that it doesn't go against any of our Community Standards. For this reason we didn't take the comment down.

We keep our review process as fair as possible by using the same Community Standards to review reports.

While we've decided not to take this comment down, we understand that you don't like it. We recommend that you hide the comment or unfollow, unfriend or block the person who posted it.

But I couldn't find the original comment by this woman. Likely they simply deleted it from MY page. I didn't want that; I wanted it left for posterity. Actually I sent Facebook this notification to test them and was not disappointed. Conservatives get blocked all the time for far less. A black woman threatening racial violence is acceptable discourse to them, though.

Hypocrites.
