How to Subvert a Nation

Amen. I remember back in the '70's when the youth culture became prominent and the push was on to promote the notion that young people knew more than old folks, who were schlerotic and slow thinking. This then turned to the "self-esteem" culture of the eighties, which taught that children needed more self-esteem and promoted it by refusing to correct kids when they were wrong. This stuff has metastasized until now children are puffed up with their own importance and are unwilling to admit they have anything to learn, especially from their elders.

Of course the Left pushed these ideas so as to create a break with the past, and they planned to fill the empty skulls with their own ideas. it's worked by and large too.

Now the young reject the America we knew because they reject anything from the past, and because they think they are wiser than the racist/bigoted/sexist/homophobic old geezers from the past. But they dutifully listen to their teachers and the culture at large which brainwashes them.

This is how you subvert a nation.
