That is actually what used to happen during dangerous rioits. And Trump is right; it would indeed stop this.
If you do not punish crime it metastasizes. Any idiot should know that.
If the Border Patrol would fire on a crowd of violent invaders we'd see a stop to these giant caravans too.
What we are seeing is the weaponization of our own decencies against us. Trump is considered a monster for making such a suggestion, but is he wrong? Certainly that is how people handled such things in the not-too-distant past.
Also, saying something works a certain way is not advocacy. But Fox hates Trump so they are trying to paint him as some sort of nut.
