Middle of April, and it's still frikkin' SNOWING in Chicago. What happened to all that global warming the libs keep braying about?

I hear you! We had a hard freeze last night - below thirty degrees - here in St. Louis. I had to wear a winter coat out yesterday. On April 18!  Global warming can't get here soon enough for my tastes.

1 I'm with both of you on this. Of course, living in Minnesota, we don't put away our winter gear till about the middle of June. And get it out again about the third week of September. So, as Dear Abby used to say, "Kwitcherbitchin."

2 I believe THAT Dana! I visited the North Shore on Lake Superior years ago and had to bring a fall jacket - and it was still too cold! In JULY!

I found it amazing to have a room without air conditioning in mid summer like that. Part of why we took the trip was because it was so boiling hot here in the 'Lou.
