Songwriter Stephen Foster was wise to flukey weather way back around the California Gold Rush.
"It rained so hard the day I left,
The weather it was dry,
The sun so hot I froze myself,
Susanna don't you cry.
"Oh, Susanna,
Oh don't you cry for me,
Cause I'm going to California
With my banjo on my knee."
The climatistas could save themselves anxiety, and spare the rest of us their meddling, if they'd just learn a few old folk songs.
