The claimed acceleration in global sea levels between the early 1900's and today, is NOT apparent when we look at the individual tide gauge records, from which this analysis is created.
So, can anybody explain how it is possible that the averaging of a selection of dozens of linear trends has resulted in a trend with clear acceleration?
If the global rate is accelerating as is shown above, then why is this acceleration not happening at each of the locations where the height of the sea surface is measured?
