I wish my younger daughter could get her kids out of the Colorado school system and educate them at home. Unfortunately, she needs to earn a living.

That's the rub Dana. The Progressives started women working as a kind of empowerment/self fulfillment thing, then through economic pressure forced them to work. Now both parents have to work and thus have to hand their children over to the State's tender mercies. It was a well-thought-out strategy on the part of the Left.
