Meanwhile in Canada the Trudeau junta is blackballing anyone associated with the protests, sending lists to financial institutions to tamper with their wealth. From Common Sense and Wonder:

Canadian banks will receive the names of people involved in "Freedom Convoyâ€ protests that have descended on the nationâ€™s capital, a first step in a promised financial crackdown on demonstrators being instituted by the far-left government of Justin Trudeau.

Bloomberg outlined exactly how the banks will cooperate with the government:

The emergency orders require virtually every participant in the Canadian financial system â€” banks, investment firms, credit unions, loan companies, securities dealers, fundraising platforms and payment and clearing services â€” to determine whether they possess or control property of a person whoâ€™s attending an illegal protest or providing supplies to demonstrators.

If they find such a person in their customer list, they must freeze their accounts and report it to the RCMP or Canadaâ€™s intelligence service, the regulations say. Any suspicious transactions must also be reported to the countryâ€™s anti-money-laundering agency, known as Fintrac.

3 Canada has been going mad from woke-ness for decades I fear. They seem so nice and polite but it masks their inner Stalin.

I remember years ago the Canadian Supreme Court ruled against a guy who was accused of date rape. The woman admitted she verbally consented but said "she didn't really mean it" and the Court agreed the young man should be able to read her mind and should have stopped! That was fifteen to twenty years ago. I knew Canada was doomed when I read about that.

They are the nicest Bolsheviks you will meet, but they still are Bolsheviks.

5 Indeed. A lot of this sort of thing has been ongoing in Canada for years now.

I would not want to immigrate there at all. Were I to leave the U.S. I wouldn't go there, or Australia, or New Zealand. Maybe Belize, or Guyana. That's how bad it's gotten.
