Fairy Dust Energy

Tom DeWeese

From Bill Edmundson:

Wind Farms---Ponder this for a moment. 🤔
The wind farm in Mt. Pulaski has been running for 3 1/2 years. They have been replacing the generators in all the wind towers. There are 100 of them in this wind farm.

So evidently the life span on the generators on these things is about 3 to 4 years. It takes 12 semi trucks and trailers, A 9 axle 500,000 pound crane, A 100,000 pound crane and 12 pick up trucks to change each generator. That is a huge amount of diesel fuel being used to maintain these wind towers.

They also require 700 gallons of oil to lubricate the internal parts. And it must be changed twice a year

And the "Green Groups" would like You to believe they are all fueled by magic fairy dust.

Some Days...

Timothy Birdnow

I had one of those days yesterday.

First pop out of the box I found a ticket on my truck; I forgot about street cleaning. Not a big ticket but it was a ticket. Then I received a letter from the Mo. Department of Revenue telling me they disagreed with my return and owed $120.

I had to take my father to the doctor, a new doctor way out at Mercy Hospital (which is quite far from his home.) The entrance ramp to the interstate was closed, and there was no warning - just a closed ramp. No detour signs. I had to waste a bunch of time and eventually got on the highway, only to be stopped by what I though was an accident but later was told was a closure for a funeral procession for a first responder of some sort. Sat for 20 more minutes as I inched up to the off ramp.

We finally arrived at the hospital and it was a zoo (as is usual there) and I had to wait for another fifteen minutes for the valet to get to me (there was absolutely no place to park anywhere on the grounds from what I could see.

So, while we left at noon, we didn't get there until 1:30. But that was o.k. because they had no record of his having an appointment!

Now that office had called ME to schendul after Mercy's "central scheduling" had failed to get them on the phone. The girl at the desk said "oh yes; we don't answer the phone when it's busy."

So I spent an hour and a half getting to a place where they forgot to book my dad's appointment.

We had to go way out of our way to avoid the traffic snarl; it was a parking lot on the highway going back too. I wound up taking side streets.

Then when I got home Cathy was waiting for me with a jury summons that had come in the mail.

I pretty much just went to bed early and pulled the covers over my head. I was never so thankful for a day to end as I was yesterday.

Who Do You Truss?

The Jury is still out on Liz Truss, the new Conservative P.M. of Britain.

Many of my friends from across the pond (and they are often in these pages) are less enthusiastic. While some are cautiously optimistic some are downright hostile to her.

For one thing she was a supporter of Big Green in the past. And while she did lift the fracking ban it will not bear fruit for many years - and with other regulations in place may be more window dressing than anything else.

I don't know, as I don't follow British politics much. As I say my British friends seem rather hesitant about her.

She appointedat least one big Green Tory. Here's another analysis of her environmental policies.

Liz Truss had also been a Remainer, opposing British independence. And see this as well.

But she seems to have changed her mind on the E.U. and supported Brexit (once it became obvious it was politically popular.)

Oh, and if a Laborite is speaking well of her that suggests she might be a problem.

Again, I'm not passing judgment on her yet - I don't know enough. I am just pointing out disturbing things about her. We may not be so pleased as we are now.

But then again we may be pleasantly surprised. I thought Donald Trump was going to move to the Left after he won the Presidency but was quite happy with him. Perhaps Truss will do likewise.

But there isn't much in the way of media opposition, which is a bad sign. They would go after her Queen or no Queen if she were really good. The way to tell if someone is going to do a good job these days is to see how much flack they get from the media.

Time will tell.

Liz Truss Is Governing the UK as a Conservative

Dana Mathewson

Due to the Queen's death and all the pageantry associated with it, Liz Truss, the new Prime Minister, has been ignored. But she shouldn't be. She may be the best thing to happen to the British government since Margaret Thatcher.

The news of the death of Queen Elizabeth II and the round-the-clock coverage of her upcoming funeral has almost made us forget that the UK also has a new prime minister. Liz Truss won the heated contest to replace Boris Johnson as the leader of the Conservative (Tory) Party and thus moved into 10 Downing Street as prime minister.

On Truss’ third day in office, her monarch died, which put politics on the back burner, but she kicked off the Liz Truss era in a head-turning way. She began leading the Tories and governing her nation as an actual conservative.

Tom Harris, a former Labour member of Parliament, writes at the Telegraph about what we’ve seen of Truss so far as prime minister.

"At least for now, she seems to have brought a clear philosophy back to government, a philosophy that, however opposed it might be in some quarters, is at least recognisable,” Harris writes. "It differs from the politics of the previous regime in that it is distinctly Conservative: small state, low tax, less nanny statism.”

It’s a far cry from the last several Tory prime ministers who talked a conservative talk but have often avoided walking a conservative walk.

Harris cites the move by Truss’ pick for Chancellor of the Exchequer, Kwasi Karteng, to buck the European trend of capping the bonuses that bankers can earn as a bold move. He writes that "the motivation and long-termism embraced by Kwasi Kwarteng is at least clear and sound. In a post-Brexit world, there is much to be gained in making London the world’s most attractive capital in which to conduct financial business.”

Another positive step for the Truss government is backing off from the "war on obesity” that brought nanny-state intervention to the kitchen and the restaurant table. Harris points out:

Personally, I have no objection to having calorie counts on restaurant menus, provided I’m still allowed to order whatever I want. But there may be some political gains ahead for a party that maintains the truth that we are each of us responsible for our own diet and our own size; much as I’d like to blame the government (the Scottish one, preferably) for my own weight, I must accept that no one forces me to eat pizza or Mars Bars; those are my choices, made by an adult with the full knowledge of the consequences. To assume that other, mostly poorer citizens have no such agency strikes me as unforgivably patronising.

To these bold, conservative moves, I would add Truss’ removal of the UK’s ban on fracking in the North Sea, a move that could do much to lower energy prices for the British public.

"The lifting of the moratorium on so-called fracking was part of a package of measures announced on Thursday [Sept. 8, the same day Queen Elizabeth passed away] to tackle soaring energy prices that are hammering households and businesses, reported Bloomberg last week. "Even with the renewed government support, the shale gas industry still faces an uncertain road, with significant opposition from local communities and challenges related to the country’s geology.”

There's more here: https://pjmedia.com/news-and-politics/chris-queen/2022/09/17/liz-truss-is-governing-the-uk-as-a-conservative-n1630295 and I'd like to say I wish we had her running our country! And I like the fact that a member of the Labor Party is writing nice and well-analyzed things about a Conservative PM!

WEF Groomed Justin Trudeau

Jim Church

WAKE UP CANADA!

https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2022/09/18/alex-marlow-world-economic-forum-executive-chairman-klaus-schwab-groomed-justin-trudeau-penetrated-canadian-government/?fbclid=IwAR0T1HCs8sN_h4QYQc674o5OGHW2bhd63_2hgq7MphMKTTyTov_42tdQyq4

The World Economic Forum, based in Switzerland, "openly claim they’re trying to influence governments. Unelected people, small town of elites in Switzerland, openly advocating to influence governments, Western governments in particular,” Marlow said.
"They don’t have any representation of populism,” he continued. "They don’t have any representation of nationalism on their board. It is all the same globalist mindset.”
Marlow added that "they’re grooming a younger generation of globalist talent. They’re focused on cultivating this next generation, and they’ve proven that they’re quite good at this.”
The editor-in-chief

then read a quote by WEF Executive Chairman Klaus Schwab in 2017:
I have to say that when I mention now names like miss Angela Merkel, even Vladimir Putin, and so on, they have all been young global leaders at the WEF. But what we are very proud of now is the young generation, like Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, we penetrate the cabinet.
"Now, I know, I don’t think English is his first language, but I don’t know about ‘We penetrate the cabinet.’ That’s odd imagery,” Marlow said.
"But we see he’s complementing himself for infiltrating the Canadian government, grooming the Prime Minister, and then infiltrating his cabinet,” Marlow said. "This is all a rebrand and relaunch of the New World Order.”

The Love of Money

Doug Thornburn

Because I have learned we can't trust the modern leviathan medical establishment for anything without doing our own research, I share two videos below. As you watch, think about the fact there is no money to be made in gargantuan quantities with off-the-shelf non-patented cures.

Medicine has a fascinating history. The more I learn, the uglier it gets.

Hillbillies and Pretensions

I spent the weekend decomposing in my easy chair. The Decades network had a marathon of the Beverly Hilbillies and I dutifully watched most of it (xcept when I was sleeping.) I fear my posterior was starting to sprout roots...

I just needed some time off.

You know, back then they made one episode per week, with the only breaks being in the summer. This marathon started on Friday and went until six a.m. this morning. Imagine trying to run such a marathon with any popular show today; nowadays you are lucky if you get 15 episodes in a season, and those are usually only fifteen minutes, as opposed to the nearly 25 minutes you got in the old days. Television is mostly commercials these days.

When I was young we got cable t.v., the first in our neighborhood which made us the first in the city (just about, anyway.) My parents were familiar with cable from Colorado, where you have no reception. Well, where we lived we had no reception. We had a big rooftop antenna but it often failed, usually during a storm and my father would dutifully climb a ladder onto the roof and adjust it, often during lightning storms.

So when cable became available we snatched it up - it only cost $12 a month, and that included two premium movie channels (HBO and Cinemax) as well as a boatload of others (ESPN, MTV, WGN, WTBN, etc. etc.) and except for the commercial channels which we got there were no commercials. I mean, you were paying for it anyway, right?

But little by little the cable networks began slipping commercials in and the public kept buying the product, so they slipped more and more in.

And while there are not as many commercials as on commercial television, there are far, far too many.

And also now with streaming the commercial channels have become little more than commercials with shows squeezed in to get you to watch. Also, they get you hooked with maybe a season of a show then move to streaming so you have to pay.

It really is a horrible disgrace. We have become a nation of nothing but greed and commercial manipulation.

I have 70 channels on my antenna t.v., but of them at least half are infomercial channels, without any real programming.

I can't imagine how we got to this point, but the public has allowed it to happen. Back in the old days they would have turned the idiot box off. Now they actually pay to be the pigeons of Madison Avenue.

It's the slowly boiled frog syndrome. They just kept turning up the heat and we never noticed we were being turned into slaves to commerce.

It's what happens when you gut the moral and spiritual heart out of a nation. It becomes soulless and wealth and pleasure become the only reason for existing. Then nothing seems to matter except your ease and pleasure. It's why America has accepted so much of what we've  seen over the last few years/decades. Nobody wants to be bothered with, say, demanding proper education for children, or insisting on controlling the border. No rocking the boat!

At any rate, watching old television shows illustrates how much things have changed. In more ways than one.

Still, I enjoyed watching the Hillbillies. I'm not into country humor by and large, but the Hillbilles were in a class by themselves.

BTW I once heard the producer of the show say he HATED it!  He said he put his head on his desk and cried when he first saw the original proposal; he was going to have to do it because it was going to be a huge success but it was the last thing he wanted!

It may have been a corny premise, but it sure was funny.

The main theme was the pretensions of the well-to-do and the money grubbing classes, juxtaposed with the simple virtues of the hill folk, who were naive and innocent and yet who were much happier. Now I am not a person to condemn wealth and if you seek after it more power to you!  But it is clear there the Bible had it right "the love of money is the root of all evil" and it is the very problem we face in our modern world. Not content with the wealth they have the Ruling Class seeks more and more, and at the expense of the working class peoples. And the very hypocrisy illustrated in TBH is the same that we see in the Harvard educated insider classes. The Beverly Hillbillies is as fresh and pertinent today as it was at the time it was made - perhaps more so. We now live in a whole world of pretentious busybody blue bloods trying to run our lives.

Tim Loafs Off

Timothy Birdnow

Sorry for not posting yesterday. I was drained of energy and there was a Beverly Hillbillies marathon on t.v. so I just took the day off.

My posterior is showing definite signs of growing roots. I barely moved from my easy chair this weekend.

At any rate I'm pretty busy today too so it will be light, but I'll be back at it in full tomorrow, God willing.

I loved the Beverly Hillbillies, and the marathon was great but they cut all the newest episodes, no doubt for time. I went to bed last night with six hours left, and that would be 12 episodes, which still had to include the three or four episodes in England, as well as the Dash Riprock ones, and the pro-wrestling one, and the Happy Gizzard restaurant Jethro opened.

No, they didn't make it, not by a long shot.

But it was still nice to see the show again. Many of those episodes haven't been on the air in a long time.

Y'all come back now, ya hear!

MONEY MATTERS....
As I write this, FedEx lost 24% of its value just today. The only thing that has bolstered assets (stocks, etc.) is money printing (DEBT). $33 Trillion to be exact.
Will they swoop in and print more to save the market again? The experts are split, hence the schizophrenia in the markets.
My opinion is they will not. INFLATION has the Establishment power structure caught between a rock and a hard place.

"Unprecedented" Drought in Asia?

Richard Cronin

Unprecedented drought in Central Asia ! OMG !!

"During the Eocene, the Tibetan Plateau and Himalayan Mountains were much lower, temperatures were hot, new mammal species were rapidly emerging, and Earth's atmosphere contained three to four times more carbon dioxide than it does today.”

"Neither Tibetan uplift nor the decrease in atmospheric carbon dioxide concentration since the Eocene seem to have changed the atmospheric pattern in central Asia," Licht said. "Wind patterns are influenced by changes in the Earth's orbit over tens or hundreds of thousands of years, but over millions of years these wind patterns are very resilient."

Note — Tibetan uplift is still ongoing as there is uplift from the expanding planet. The planet is still decompressing and expanding from the initial accretion process. This is the real reason for what has been described as Continental Drift.

The expansion of the Mid-Atlantic Ridge is pushing the planet apart. The trenches of the Southern Pacific are tearing the world apart.

Sabotage Lindsey

Lance Sjogren

Is Lindsey Graham trying to sabotage the Republican Party by proposing his federal abortion restriction bill?

This question was raised on timcast. Seems like a good question. Why propose this bill when it has no chance of being signed into law. Now when Graham is up for re-election he often engages in stunts to divert the voters of his state from his anti-conservati ve stances on some issues. But he's not up for re-election this year.

Move along, do not tarry
Here you'll find sanctuary nary.

The Grinding Wheels of Justice

Timothy Birdnow

Hey Abboooooottt (and DeSantis too)...

You guys ought to take care. The FBI raided Donald Trump''s home, and raided a bunch of his supporters, including the My Pillow guy (guess they needed some rest after all that raidin')  So now you two have made the list with your sending "migrants" on a migration to encroach on the monopoly men and women who so virtuously invited them with no intention of allowing them to stay.

Best be careful Abbot and DeSantis or the FBI will be coming for YOU!  Abbott needs to keep a bunch of Texas Rangers at the ready, and DeSantis the State cops.

BTW you guys are going amateur here; think bigger! Trains, or cruise ships!  Don't send tens send thousands!

And remind everyone Joe Biden did this first, moving "migrants" all over the country into red states everywhere. That is, after all, how Florida came into custody of so many of these invading aliens in the first place.

Remind everyone too that this was an unfunded mandate, a result of Biden refusing to enforce the law he pledged to uphold when he took his oaf, er, oath of office. He swore to uphold the laws, then refused to do so and left you with the bill.

Maybe you should calculate what he owes you and send it to the White House?

Maybe you should send a bunch of illegals to HIS house? Delaware has one of the lowest populations of any state. Maybe they could use some fresh blood? Let's face it; if Biden is representative of his state they are horribly decayed and clearly need an infusion of some new genes.

At any rate, be careful about the FBI trying to raid your home and root around in your underwear and the like. They seem to be a bunch of perverts with underwear fetishes.

Migrants migrate. There is nothing cruel about sending a bus of people to a place that voted to protect them, not when they have already traveled thousands of miles on foot through deserts and mountains. This was a kindness, sending them to a rich enclave or two. Remember you are doing the Lord's work here.

But be ready for retaliation. This lawless Administration is happy to grind someone into dust with the wheels of justice.

The Wrath of Con

This was written by Gregory Enrico Sandoval:

On the bogus "news” recently that "climate change” is making people angrier online?

No, it’s climate change a-holes who are making people angrier.

And the angrier that normal people become over a-holes in high places effing their lives up on behalf of climate change a-holes, the angrier all the a-holes become over being questioned by those they consider to be the ignorant masses or by their enemies, the fossil fuel corporations.

This leads the a-holes into more and more extreme behavior to punish those they consider the ignorant and the evil.

How it will end: the normal masses will find a way to seriously eff up the a-holes.

And whatever they do, they need to make sure it’s permanent.

Why?

Because the present situation is something that is the culmination of over 140 years of deliberate stealth attack on US institutions of all sorts after the progressive socialists decided to take the sneaky route and to hook up with

1. the major political party that had already demonstrated they were enemies to the Republic due to their Secession and start of the Civil War,

2. the party that was severely butt-hurt over the drubbing the Republicans and the Union gave them during the Civil War,

3. the one party they knew they could count on to hate the Union as much as they did and work with them to bring it down, the Democrat Party.

Every social and economic ill in the US was either created by or was deliberately co-opted and exacerbated by the progressive socialist/ Democrat Party.

Remember that supreme prick and friend of Barry, Rahm Emanuel, who said never let a crisis go to waste?

And if no actual crisis, then create one, whether

1. the George Floyd riots and single greatest bout of looting in US history,

2. Covid, Inc. stealing over 40 million jobs and hundreds of thousands of small businesses to hurt Trump’s 2020 re-election,

3. the 2020 election stolen at the hands of Marc Elias, phony mail-in ballots, and, when that didn’t work, post-midnight PRC-redistribut ion of Trump votes to Biden in three states to change his serious trouncing into a just squeaking by "win,”

4. getting the liberals on the Supreme Court to unlawfully deny hearing the Texas lawsuit against some of the cheating states, a case of original jurisdiction that cannot be refused hearing,

5. the creation of an "energy crisis” in California and elsewhere as an attempt to impose expensive, dangerous, polluting, and inefficient electric vehicles on the public,

6. the Jan 6th Pelosi/Capitol Police/ FBI-created "insurrection” to give them an excuse for a circus and partisan witch-hunt running hearings contrary to House rules,

7. the misuse of social media by the FBI to kill the Hunter Biden laptop story before the 2020 election to prevent Biden’s loss,

8. the unlawful abuse of the public by social media conniving with almost 4 dozen Biden Admin people to censor user content about Covid, Inc and other things,

9. the unlawful use of the FBI to target normal people as domestic terrorists who complained about racist perverts to their school boards,

10. the use of the FBI by Biden and Merrick "Judy” Garland to target their political opponent and his supporters with baseless raids on Trump’s home, equally baseless raids and arrests of other prominent Trump supporters,

11. Biden’s executive order two months into office to lay the groundwork for massive cheating in the 2022 election and Merrick "Judy” Garland blocking virtually all FOIA requests on the activities, meetings, records, and emails of all federal personnel involved by claiming a specious executive privilege,

12. Biden urging corporations and schools to ignore the Supreme Court ruling on employer-mandat ed submission to viral RNA products and to require it anyway, leading to many thousands losing their jobs and suffering extreme financial and health hardships,

13. the public smearing of well over 74 million Americans as a danger to society by Shitler (who had previously described them as "semi-fascists” ) at his red and black (Antifa colors) insane rant in Philadelphia.

How it will end: either a Venezuela-type police state (already well under way) or the normal masses will find a way to seriously eff up the a-holes.

And whatever normal masse do, they had better realize their livelihoods and very lives are at stake and make sure it’s permanent.

Why?

Well, now with that baker’s dozen reasons that only barely scratch the surface, you know why.

Get Your Stinking Pause Off our Climate!

https // daily sceptic org / 2022/ 09 / 10 / eight - year - trend - in - global - cooling - shown - by - satellite & record/

"Global pause, plateau or cooling – or, if you are reading the political climate narrative in mainstream media, are we heading for almost immediate climate Thermogeddon? Earlier this year, we published a graph showing satellite temperature measurements since the start of the latest pause up to March 2022. It indicated a global cooling trend of 0.14°C a century. Another five months on and the near eight-year pause continues, as does the almost unchanged cooling trend. Since the high point back in 1998, global warming has run out of steam. A pause from that date to about 2012 has now been followed by the latest eight year hiatus, with just a two-year period of mild warming in between."

Selective Outrage

Timothy Birdnow

The Libs are melting down over the expatriation of illegal aliens to Martha's Gin Joint, er, Vineyard and to NYC. They are deporting these people from their rich enclaves and then accusing the Red State Governors of being cruel and heartless. Shoot; Martha's Vineyard called out the ARMY, for crying out loud, to forcibly relocate 50 of these poor wretches they claim to love so very much.

On Facebook someone named Eben Waters made this observation:

George takei tweeted that "a certain govt forcibly relocated unwanted people.” I wonder what he’d say about certain people turning other unwanted people over to the military?

My question is, why doesn't George Takei offer HIS home to some of them? Anybody?

The Left hates it when we use their own types of tactics against them. The whole purpose of open borders is to transform America away from the evil, racist, sexist, homophobic entity they believe it to be, and to flip Red states Blue. That's why they insist these people remain in Texas or Florida or whatnot.

Bear in mind the Biden Administration has been moving these people around the country all along. How did aliens who crossed the border from Mexico wind up in Florida to begin with? Biden has been moving people around to dump the problem on Republicans like DeSantis and to perhaps change the voting patterns in such states (Florida has become increasingly Republican, once a swing state.) Strange how Mr. Takei never complained about THAT.

So Ron DeSantis did exactly what Joe Biden did, but on a smaller scale, and the Demo-left explode in outrage. My, waht selective anger they have.

Biden's War on Coal

Al Moscowitz

It is well known that liberals just LOVE graphs, especially "Hockey Sticks" so let's take a look at this graph...

This is a graph of the price of a ton of coal (average between anthracite and bituminous) over the past 13 years.

Economics 101 - supply and demand -

Supply is high, demand is low, prices are low.
Supply is high, demand is constant, prices are somewhat lower.
Supply is stable, demand is stable, prices are stable.
Supply is low, demand is low, prices are somewhat higher.
Supply is low, demand is high, prices are significantly higher.

The increasing prices of coal over the last two years are the DIRECT RESULT of the Biden administration'

s war on so-called fossil fuels.

40% of the world's electricity is generated by burning coal. In the United States that number is 23%.

Now some of you might be saying "so what"... Well, I'll tell you... We are suffering unnecessarily. There is absolutely no reason to declare war on fossil fuels. This "green" nonsense is just that - NONSENSE.

If you can't sympathize with the general population who are suffering with higher fuel costs, how about a modicum of pity for the 46,000 coal workers (miners, administration, etc) that have lost their ability to earn a living in the past several years. And for what? NOTHING. ... and that's the point.

All of this crap is the result of taking measures to try and "fix" an imaginary problem.
May be an image of text that says 'Coal 1M Coal (USD/T) 439.00 +14.00 (+3.29%) 439 00 400 350 300 250 200 150 2010 2012 1Y5Y10YAll 5Y 10Y All 100 2014 2016 50 2018 2020 2022'

And here is a graph showing the price of lithium for batteries:

May be an image of text that says 'Lithium Lithium 1D Lithium Carbonate (CNY/T) 492500.0000000 497500 450000 400000 350000 300000 250000 200000 150000 Jan 1Y 5Y All May Sep'
