1 I hate to think this is what's happened, but it does look as if Sleepy Joe has washed his hands of the whole situation. He doesn't realize that blaming it on Trump is not getting a single American out of that hellhole.

What SHOULD happen is that his advisors are all fired (or resign -- even better) -- even though they gave him the truth and he ignored it. He's responsible for the whole debacle and the press is finally saying so.

2 Agreed Dana. Biden figured this wouldn't stick to him because the media is on his side, but it was too large a catastrophe' to ignore and he now just hopes to weather it without actually taking any action.

I still think the people pulling the strings wanted something like this. Biden is left holding the bag, of course.

4 It gets Americans to despair and come to believe we are powerless in the world. That we cannot accomplish anything with a solo policy (even though we had many NATO countries there with us), that we have a "shithole country" and should stop working against the international elites.

It's the exact same driving force behind keeping this Covid thing going, or being BLM, or behind the open borders. In the end there are some practical considerations but it is a massive psychological blow to American pride and the American spirit. It's a psy-op. The CIA used to do this kind of thing all the time in foreign countries. Now they are doing it to us.

5 Could be. Problem for them is it's working on the people they figure should run the whole show: the Left. Conservatives aren't buying it.
