Judge Strikes Down Covid Rules; Authorities Tell Him to Bugger Off

A Missouri judge has ruled the draconian Covid protocols implemented by the authorities violate the Constitution and has vacated all the mask mandates and other restrictions placed on the populace by overreaching executives throughout the state.

Cole County judge Daniel Green issues his ruling on a 2020 lawsuit.

"This case is about whether Missouri's Department of Health and Senior Services regulations can abolish representative government in the creation of public health laws, and whether it can authorize closure of a school or assembly based on the unfettered opinion of an unelected official. This court finds it cannot," said Green, according to the Post-Dispatch.

"Missouri's local health authorities have grown accustomed to issuing edicts and coercing compliance. It is far past time for this unconstitutional conduct to stop," added Green, a Republican who was first elected as county judge in 2010.'

Green ruled these edicts are a violation of the separation of powers enumerated in the state Constitution.

Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmidt has announced he will not appeal the ruling. That makes it the law of the land.

Except...

So Sam "the Man who would be King" Page is simply going to ignore the court order. The court will simply be immaterial and Page will impose his will on the public regardless.

The Republican-controlled Missouri State Legislature has a duty to impeach Sam-I-Am and he should be imprisoned for contempt of court.

St. Louis Mayor Tishaura Jones has also stated she won't obey the order.

Imagine if a Republican did that; the media would explode.

But now it's largely ignored or even applauded when a Democrat is involved. Hillary Clinton willfully violated orders to hand over her computer and e-mail, then used bleachbit to wipe her server clean. Nothing happened to her. She is just one example of many. Barack Obama violated multiple court orders during his tenure as President. Among his violations are his implementation of DACA despite a court order, among others. And his Attorney General Eric Holder was clearly guilty of Contempt of Congress and suffered no penalties. (You may remember he openly disobeyed a court order to turn over documents related to Fast and Furious.) I could go on but you get the point.

The Rule of Law is SO for the little people. If you are a liberal you can ignore it.

And so now two small fish in small ponds are simply going to flip the court the bird.

And the pusillanimous Missouri GOP who control the state legislature will not dare impeach Jones because she is a black woman. And if they don't impeach Jones they won't impeach Sam Page.

We no longer have the Rule of Law. We live in an oligarchy.
