Covid and AIDS

With Covid now we are being told that masking up with somehow "fight the virus" and a bunch of dopes actually believe that.
I remember back during the AIDS epidemic a lot of younger people were all on-board with the condom business. A lot of them were demanding married couples wear condoms when engaging in sexual congress on the off chance one of them had caught AIDS from somewhere. This kind of myopia is how the Left moves this sort of thing forward; panic the ignorant into ridiculous notions.
I think the AIDS epidemic was the dress rehearsal for this Covid stuff; there was panic in the general population, even though virtually no heterosexual non-intravenous
It's even worse with Covidiocy.
I guess they think they will live forever if they wear a face diaper.
BTW during the AIDS epidemic we were told it was discriminatory to do contact tracing and the like, but now we are told it is our patriotic duty to allow our lives to be closely scrutinized (with a heavy emphasis on the scru). What has changed? Well, now a favored minority group is not involved, obviously. And it serves the purpose of power and control over our lives; back during the AIDS epidemic it would have the opposite effect, or at least a neutral effect.

Part of the time "they" are telling us that wearing a mask or four will keep us from getting the virus, and another part of the time "they" are telling us it'll keep us from spreading the virus (even, apparently, if we don't have it, or even if we've been vaccinated). What "they" are really telling us is that they think they can play us for total fools who'll believe anything we're told, no matter how unlikely it sounds. I'm sure my liberal daughter and her partner are still wearing their masks in the (you'd think) safety of their home and their cars.
Meanwhile, Dr. Fauci gets away with telling us anything he feels like telling us on any given day, no matter how much it disagrees with what he told us on any other given day. All I want to tell him is "Hey, Tony, stop pissing on my head and telling me it's raining! I can smell the difference!"
