Biden Avoids Blame for Bad Economy

Timothy Birdnow

Joe Biden wrecks the oil and gas industry and the economy is in the tank. But the public blames - high gas prices, not the guy who actually made them go up!

Americans Blame High Gas Prices For "Bad Economy”

Some 64 percent of respondents in a CBS News poll believe the U.S. economy is in bad shape. Of these, 74 percent are blaming the bad economy on high prices at the pump, the news outlet reported.

According to the poll results, about 50 percent of Americans are worried about being able to afford to fill up their cars.

The biggest concern of all, unsurprisingly, is inflation, for which the majority blames the supply chain problems caused by the pandemic. A smaller majority also blames the labor shortage, which has led to an increase in labor costs.

This is how the Democrats skate by; the media twists things in their favor. Biden is clearly at fault for all this but the media endlessly repeats a half-truth or outright lie and eventually the public accepts it as conventional wisdom.

This problem lies squarely with Biden. No other reason.

And this poll claims the public worries about inflation. Well, where do they think inflation comes from? It comes from expanding the money supply, which is what we have been doing since Biden took office. These multi-trillion dollar spending bills of Captain Peachfuzz are driving up prices.

But the media lies and claims it's oil prices (which are a contributing factor, but not the main one) and the public falls dutifully into line.

I don't know when America stopped producing critical thinkers.

Here is a chart chronicling the growth of the money supply. Any questions as to why we are seeing inflation?

1 Wasn't it just last week "they" were blaming it all on COVID? Or did I miss something?

2 However he tries to sugar-coat the pill, Bidenflation is going to give all Democrat candidates a hard time next Election Day -- assuming voters will still remember how the economy was under Trump.

3 Ah, that last is the critical point Dana. The media will have us believing the economy was actually very bad under Trump by the '24 election. I've seen them pull that off before. They had everyone believing the economy was terrible under George W. Bush, for instance. And they created the recession that brought his father down through endless repetition of doomsday predictions.

4 Well, so far Biden's numbers are underwater when it comes to the economy and just about everything else. At this point in time he's NOT avoiding the blame. People notice when prices go way up -- I paid $10 for a one-pound bag of red grapes at the supermarket today. And from everything we hear, nobody's going to fix things because the lunatics in charge of the asylum don't know what it is they're doing wrong.

5 We can only hope Dana. Inflation did take out Jimmy Carter (among other things) and so maybe it will stick to Biden.

Yeah; they have no idea what they need to do to fix the economy.

Or they don't want to fix the economy and are just trying to hide how bad it is.
