1 Did you notice the contradiction in two consecutive sentences in the writeup?
"The cows were a part of a group of livestock that graze 1,000 acres of private land on Cedar Island and are tended to by locals. Paula D. O'Mally, who has photographed the cows in the past, emphasized on her Facebook photography page that "the cows are wild" and "have survived for decades without human intervention, they're pretty tough that way."

Either they are "tended to by locals" or they have "survived ... without human intervention." You can't have it both ways. This is what we get from a society that is used to buying "new and improved" products...

2 Yeah; logic is not the strong suit in our society any longer.

3 Reading it again after a couple of drinks, I must admit the first sentence may mean that the "1,000 acres are tended to by the locals," not the cows. British writers are often fuzzy. I wrote the first comment under the influence of coffee. . .
