Our Country Is In Trouble Due To The Ignorance of Millennials
Dana Mathewson
For too many years our schoolchildren have not been educated. They have been indoctrinated. And the results are coming home to roost. It's showing up in the popularity of socialist-spouting politicians, particularly (but not limited to) Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, now frequently referred to as AOC.
There's an opinion piece today on Fox News claiming that "she is the voice of an ignorant generation," and as far as it goes, that is true. If she were to be trying to sell her wares to the generations that make up what I like to call the "birdies of the Aviary," she'd be fluffed off in short order, because we have seen the evils of Socialism, having seen the examples of the Soviet Union, Mao's China, Pol Pot's Cambodia, and more recently, Chavez and Maduro's Venezuela. We also remember Peron's Argentina, where an economic powerhouse that rivaled the U.S. was destroyed. And our own Jack Kemp is the son of parents who were forced to perform slave labor for Hitler and his Nazis, who were Socialists, no matter how today's "historians" try to twist facts.
But today's generations are not being taught about the evils of Socialism. Ironically, even AOC herself doesn't know how it works; she's just certain that it's the greatest thing in the world. Neither does she know how capitalism works, she's just certain that it doesn't.
Rather than plaster this with a bunch of quotes, I will give you the links to two articles and hope you'll read them. The first is
