NY Times Admits Mueller Probe a Political Hit on Trump

Timothy Birdnow

According to the New York Times, the entire Mueller probe is an FBI witchhunt designed to punish Trump for firing James Comey.

Mollie Hemmingway dishes the dirt at the Federalist:

On a Friday night news dump, the New York Times revealed the FBI’s surprisingly flimsy justification for launching a retaliatory investigation into President Donald Trump, their chief adversary during their recent troubled era.

Admitting there is no actual evidence for their probe into whether Trump "worked for the Russians,” FBI officials instead cited their foreign policy differences with him, his lawful firing of bungling FBI Director James Comey, and alarm that he accurately revealed to the American public that he was told he wasn’t under investigation by the FBI, when they preferred to hide that fact.

The news was treated as a bombshell, and it was, but not for the reasons many thought. It wasn’t news that the FBI had launched the investigation. Just last month, CNN reported that top FBI officials opened an investigation into Trump after the lawful firing of Comey because Trump "needed to be reined in,” a shocking admission of abuse of power by our nation’s top law enforcement agency.
The FBI, CIA, DIA, in fact, every single bureaucracy, including the DOJ and the Department of Defense, are extra-Constitutional insofar as they are agencies of the President's cabinet, and the cabinet works for the President. There is no constitutional provision for a national police (as in the case of the FBI) or for a spy network. That these entities are attempting to overturn the will of the American People or are attempting to use their power to thwart a duly elected President is a very scary proposition, as they were never intended to possess such power. Madison, Adams, Jefferson are all rolling over in their graves.

If one needs proof that there is indeed a "Deep State", a dark entity working for it's own ends and governing outside of the Constitution, this is it. Clearly these agencies have grown far too powerful.

That was a big danger when we started letting them operate in the shadows in the U.S. following the 911 attacks. Prior to that, we had been empowering these agencies - with the War on Drugs, and before that the Cold War. But the so called War on Terror changed everything, allowing these agencies to operate secretly inside the country and spy on private citizens in a way that would horrify the Founding Fathers (and even people like Truman or Eisenhower.) We have been systematically creating the framework for a totalitarian state, one in which the individual is spied upon and controlled in ways Hitler or Stalin could only dream. I fear we can no longer truly say we have a free society, not in a world where unelected bureaucrats and career operatives can run black ops on elected officials. Those officials are elected to represent the People, what the citizenry want. They are removable precisely because they can fall out of line with the wishes of the body politic. But if those elected officials have to obey the dictates of a hidden ruling class, we no longer have a free society. We have a tyranny.

Molly Hemingway continues:

The article accepts FBI spin that arguing for better relations with the nuclear-armed Russia "constituted a possible threat to national security” that could only be explained if Trump was "knowingly working for Russia or had unwittingly fallen under Moscow’s influence.” Because FBI officials personally opposed Trump’s foreign policy, and that of the tens of millions of Americans who voted for him, the FBI was "suspicious” of him, we’re told. The reporters admit the reckless decision by FBI officials was "an aggressive move” that disturbs many former law enforcement officials.

End excerpt.

Strange; the FBI wasn't suspicious of Barack Obama, a man who had all sorts of mystery surrounding him from a Connecticut social security number to vacationing in Pakistan while in college to a Communist grandfather and association with a Communist poet and sodomite named Frank Marshall Davis (who was on the FBI watch list), to claims by his paternal grandmother that she was present for his birth in Kenya (making him ineligible to run for President). None of this seemed to bother the FBI, nor the CIA. Obama had all manner of ties to Marxists, be they William Ayers or Valerie Jarret, or Van Jones.

My late friend and Aviary contributor Allan Caruba had this to say on the matter of Russian influence in the Obama Administration:

The campaign team, several of whom now serve as advisers to Obama, was composed of people with deep ties to the "progressive”, i.e., communist movement in America. Valerie Jarrett, a senior advisor, was aware that former Green Czar, Van Jones, had a long history of involvement in Communist Party causes. When this was exposed, he resigned.

Jarrett married into a family with Communist Party involvement. Her father-in-law, Vernon Jarrett, worked closely with Obama mentor and a Communist Party leader, Frank Marshall Davis, who was a member of a number of front groups during the Cold War years. It was Davis whom Obama’s grandparents enlisted to mentor him during his formative years growing up in Hawaii.

Political advisor, David Axelrod, has a long history of working for socialist causes. His mother wrote for a New York City tabloid, PM Magazine that often promoted the Communist Party line. Much of the publication’s funding came from Marshall Field, a leftist millionaire who also funded Saul Alinsky’s training school for community organizers.

Carol Browner, the energy and environmental advisor, was a former director of the Environmental Protection Agency under President Clinton. Significantly, she was a member of the Commission for a Sustainable World Society of the Socialist International until that was revealed and her name was scrubbed from the organization’s website on January 7, 2009. Both she and Todd Stern, the Environment Czar, are strong advocates of Cap-and-Trade legislation.

A litany of high level advisors with strong socialist agendas surrounds the President.

Experts in spy craft are not inclined to regard the arrested agents as a small group to be dismissed as bumblers in the employ of the Russian Federation, the successor to the failed Soviet Union. None, however, have been charged with espionage.

End excerpt.

And that is just Obama. I could write several books as voluminous as War and Peace on the Clintons', from Bill's vacationing int he Soviet Union when he was at Oxford to Charlie Trie and Clinton's selling military secrets to China via Loral Aerospace to to Hillary's Uranium One deal selling our Uranium to the Russkies.

None of this seems to bother the CIA, nor the FBI. But Trump? Trump has been in the public eye his entire life, and he has kept very little secret. Why is HE so disturbing to the Establishment?

Because Trump is from outside the Washington power base. That is simply not going to be tolerated.

What we are witnessing is the exposure of a hidden truth, something that the puppet masters have kept hidden for a long time. It's now apparent that there is indeed a "Deep State", a ruling class that believes itself to be superior to the rest of the country and entitled to rule. And these extra-constitutional entities like the FBI and CIA are but weapons to be yielded against those uppity folks who won't accept the yoke around the neck.
