Missouri barely avoids in-state tuition for illegals
Timothy Birdnow
Missouri Rep. Lynn Morris sent this comment out to constituents:
Thursday morning the Mo House took up the HB 3 budget bill for higher
education in which the House-Senate conference committee voted 6-3 to
allow that illegal citizens could attend a state university or college
at the same reduced rate as our legal Mo students. Two Senate
Republicans voted with four democrats to place this wording in the
budget bill. The House doesn’t agree and we voted 110-42 to take this
wording out. This was a straight party vote. It is important to note
that this is not against the large appropriation for higher education.
This is a vote to protect our legal citizens of this state. As I have
been honored to serve my district Christian County and SW Mo for the
past 7 years I am very confident that my vote is supported by the large
majority of the citizens Now we will wait to see what the Senate and
the members of the conference committee will do. Because of these
issues created by the Senate we will be working this Friday to make
sure that the balanced budget be truly voted and agreed on and sent to
the Governor by 6 pm tomorrow. I will keep everyone informed as I am
sure the House will hold their position concerning illegal citizens.
End excerpt.
At a time when America is being invaded and the nation is becoming increasingly angry at this massive influx of people against our will, the Democrats in Missouri along with RINO Republicans are trying to make it easier for invaders to come a "set a spell". This should never have even been proposed.
Missouri has been very good at keeping the illegals out of the state. We offer none of the goodies that so many of the other states do. But this shows that there are forces here laboring to break Missouri open. It's disgraceful.
I don't know what part of "illegal" these people don't grasp. It's like
a seven eleven having a special till for people who come in to rob them.
